Bring Me Your Enemies, Lay Them Before Me~Kabuto~Part Two: Another Day, Another Fear! Arrival in the Sound!

Created by ansems.assistant on Monday, April 02, 2007

Traveling at the slow pace you were moving at, you and Kabuto had not yet arrived in the Village Hidden in the Sound, which is where Kabuto assured you that you were going.
Day three, and you still hadn't made it. You were feeling up to being a pain in the butt, though, so you decided to complain.
"Are we THERE yet?" You asked for the fifteenth time, but this time he acctually answered.
He turned around and pinned you to a tree with one hand, running the other up the side of your face.
"No. We arn't there yet." He breathed venomously. "But I'm starting to wish that Lord Orochimaru didn't need you so much, because I'm starting to want to rip out your vocal cords and make you watch as they reverberate in my hands, but I don't think he'd like that so much."
You stiffened and began to quiver.
"Phobia. Kabuto. Please step back." You begged.
"Or maybe I could do something to cause less damage--sew your mouth shut?"
"Kabuto! Really! Back off, please!"
He leaned against you even more, and now he could feel your shaking body.
He looked at you, beginning to look confused, but that's when you snapped, the pounding in your head becoming too much.
"KABUTO BACK OFF!" You yelled, and shoved him away from you.
You squeezed your eyes closed, breathing deeply in half sobs as you slipped down the tree, running your hands over yourself protectivly.
"No, no, Syrala, that's not right." He warned again. "Honestly, that's not the way."
"I told you, I can't do the handsigns!"
"It's simple! Look!" He said, and preformed the Jutsu once again. "It's just that easy!"
"It's not easy to me...I'm sorry, I just can't do it!"

"Sy! Syrala!"
You shook and your eyes opened, shaking with fear.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and began to hyper ventilate.
He removed his hand and then looked you in the eyes. "Syrala, are you okay?"
"Just..." you started, and then smacked him in the face. "You could've caused internal hemoraging in my brain, ass." You said, now throughly pissed off. "Inoperable tumor, remember?!"
He nodded. "Sorry. You're just...so...annoying."
You thought for a moment and then giggled. "Sorry." You stated, and lifted a finger to your head. "I have mood swings and I'm fairly certian that my little friend has finally claimed the filter that stops you from saying everything you think. But I wouldn't know, since I havn't been to a doctor in three days. I'm supposed to go every day."
Kabuto thought for a moment. "What for? Anything important?"
"Mostly just check-ups, but my medication, therepy, and he does a certain jutsu to releive the pressure that the tumor applies onto the rest of my brain, which is why I'm moodier than usual."
"What kind of medication?"
"It's called Aniticaplemornaphine."
"Here." He said, and opened a bottle. "How many pills?"
"Two."
"Before or after eating?"
"Before."
He opened the bottle and shook two pills out onto his hand. He looked down at them, and then held them out to you. "That size?" He asked.
You nodded. He picked one up with his right index finger and thumb and pushed it into your mouth, then did the same with the second.
You looked at him, confused. "Doctor? Wait...your last name..."
He smiled and stood. "C'mon, we have to find someplace better for me to relieve the pressure. It might not be the same way your doctor does it, but it'll be close. As for therapy..."
You smiled. "I'll do fine without it. All he does is make me face all my phobias, which is why I can handle them half of the time."
He nodded and led you into a small cave just off of where you were.
"Okay, I need you to trust me with this." He warned. "If you're tense, it won't work."
"That's going to be difficult, saying as you've kidnapped me and all."
He smirked and sat down. "Come here, lay your head in my lap."
You gave him a stern look. "You better not make me regret trusting you." You said, and layed down, your head in his lap.
"Doctor's honor." He swore, another smirk on his face. He made a few very quick handsigns and then pushed his finger down onto your temples. "Close your eyes." He commanded.
You thought about making a snide comment, but just complied with his demands.
You could feel him move his fingers lightly up your temples and then to the top of your head, then he moved one hand behind your head, supporting it. After a few more moments of him doing what you figured was a few more handsigns, he finally stopped moving his hands. He still had one supporting your head, and the other he now hand resting near your head, the only movement you felt was that he was winding one finger in and out of your hair.
You opened your eyes. "That all, doc?" You asked, softly.
His eyes were closed now, though.
"Kabuto?" You asked, and reached and hand up to touch his face.
His eyes opened.
"Yeah, you're done, Sy." He stated, and then let you sit up.
You turned to him. "Thanks." You put a hand up to your head. "I feel much better now, Kabuto."
He smiled. "Can't have you killing over on the way to the Sound." With that, he stood as well and walked out of the cave.

Day four, you finally arrived in the sound village.
It was a...erm...different place.
Kabuto led you down the streets and finally to a place where a man that you recognized to be Orochimaru sat.
"My Lord." Kabuto said, bowing. "I've brought you Syrala."
Orochimaru smiled. "Good, good, Kabuto. Very good job." He said, and stood, slithering over to you. He smiled and went to place an arm around your waist. You cringed, ready for the brain-tightening, lung-squishing sensation...
...but it didn't come. You opened your eyes, and noticed the Kabuto had interveined.
"She fears that, Lord Orochimaru, please don't touch her waist. You'll apply more pressure on her brain, that's not what she needs for a full recovery."
Orochimaru looked amused and then smiled. "Of course, Doctor, what you say goes in matters of the medical feild."
Kabuto shifted at your side.
Orochimaru smiled again at you. "I'll ask you for my favor later, my dear, but in the mean time you are to stay with Kabuto. You should get along well enough." He slithered away after having said that.
You looked at Kabuto. "Why'd you do that?" you asked.
He looked away. "No reason." He said, and took your hand.
