The Adventure

Elezar stared into the abyss her powers crackling with a green light as she sat on the edge waiting for her friends to catch up. Kiki and Raven were so slow. She let her thoughts wander until they landed on when they first met. She was a dark princess of the night part elf/part human. Kiki was a bubbly sprite and had lived in the light her whole life. She could be immature but she was amazing. Raven was possibly the strangest of all three. She was a dark person but not human. She was a full elf. She always saw a point in something. You would have never thought that they would have become friends but somehow fate brought them together. They were all outcasts of socity. A wind picked up and brushed her long red hair against her cheek. Her yellow eyes misted over as she was reminded of her boyfriend, Bryan. Finally, Kiki snapped her out of her trance by yelling, "Hiay, Elezar!" Elezar smiled and looked at the little sprite. Kiki's curly brown hair had come loose again and was curling around her brown eyes. She swept it out of the way and said, "Raven, hurry up." "Uhh. I'm coming. I'm coming." Rae responded with her usual flat tone slightly exasperated. Her other best friend's black hair was limp and straight as usual, hiding her pointed ears. Her black and purple striped dress took nothing away from her pale face. "Well are we going to get a move on or what?" Elezar snapped. "You took long enough! We need to get to the spirit valley before sunset." "And let me guess we need to cross this?" Rae responded gesturing to the abyss. "Yeah, now hold still so I can use my new wing spell on you and me." "oh no, last time my shoulders hurt for a week." "I have it this time though." "Fine. but no zapping" "Okay" Zap! Zap! "All done" "Did you have to be so hard with it" "Don't be a baby! Let's go before Lex finds us and hurts one of you two again" Elezar worried as a voice behind her said,"But I'm already here, sister." Then all she saw was black.
