As I got to school all my friends were waiting for me as I walked up to the usual spot. The spot we sat at Every. Single. Time. Yeah, tons of excitement here.
"Hey Sara." They all buzzed.
I threw up a hand and waved barely. Okay so I still a little pissed from this morning. I had every right to be. You wait till she gets up in that age when she starts liking boys, I'm going to embarras her so badly she's going to wish she wasn't born.
"What's with that sinister look on your face?" my friend Jamie asked. Like it's any of his buisness. Whoa, there Sara. Cool your jets. He did nothing to you.
"I don't know what your talking about." Perfect, just brush it off like it was a piece of lint.
RING-A-DING-DING
Oh, hottie alert. No one you would want to date. But nice to look at at.
"Hey Sara, hows it going?" he asked with a little chuckle.
"It's going." I said with a small smile.
Derek Carter. Whats to know about him? hmm, He's hot. He's the richest guy at this school. He is taken.
He has dirty blonde hair, the most fierce green eyes you'll ever see, a nice six pack. Oh, uh, drooled a little. Anyway and Malibu barbie clung to him almost 98% of the time.
Well that's 3 hotties I can only drool over. One of which, Derek, I don't want to date. Even though he has a girlfriend he still flirts with me, who's to say he wont do that me if we dated.
"Hello! Earth to Sara. We're having a serious conversation over here." Melony said knocking me out of somewhat realistic thoughts.
"Huh? Sorry." I said sheepish.
"We were talking about hanging out at the mall today after school." she sighed.
Hmm, I wander if Eric is here yet. Maybe he has his new car now. Okay, so I might have evesdropped on his and dereks conversation yesterday. Sue me! Like none of you have never done it before. And don't lie, I obviously can't judge anyone.
"Shit!" Everyone eyed me in our little circle. I ignored them.
I quickly grabbed my books and darted to the school. I could not afford to miss another morning dentention.
Mrs. Lenard said if I did, she would for sure call my parents. She knew sending a note home wouldn't, sense I'm the one that usually gets it first.
I reached her room out of breath. Inhaling deeply I found a seat on the side where the door was and slid in a desk before she came plopping into the room. I instantly mentally thanked my sister for waking me, or I would have missed it. Again.
I said that cause she's huge. Normally I don't make fun of people, but this b!tch drives me to the brink of insanity. Catch my drift? No? Well you will.
"Ah, Miss. Thompson, decided to join us this time." No, not yet.
"Yeah, well I figured you needed a little spice in your life." I said with a sticky sweet smile.
"I guess, you could look at it like that." Wait for it... "Or you could look at from everyone else's point, and see a teenager with a bad attidud." she sneered. Yep, that'll do it.
I instantly had images of me taking a spork and stabbing her repeativly untill all the wholes in her body made her look like swiss cheese.
"What a b!tch." A deep silky voice said from a few seats down.
I hadn't noticed till now that it was him. My prince, or knight in shinning armor, if you will.
I was too shocked to answer. He filled the gab between us and sat beside me.
"So why are you in here?" he proped his feet up on the desk in front of him.
"Oh, just too many tardies." I said laughing like an idiot.
"Yeah, they always get you there." Dont look in his eyes, dont look in his eyes!
Damn.
