[ Writers and Readers of 'Forced' Lemons ] - An Astute Read

Hello everyone. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
This is extremely important especially to those of you who write lemons and stories that involve abuse either physical, sexual or mental abuse.

Don't you find it degrading especially for girls whenever you read vampire stories where the vampire kidnaps the girl, rapes her and humiliates her and in the end she falls in love with him? Please! Who would fall in love with their rapist?

Also whenever there are Yami Bakura or Yami Marik stories of rape and sexual abuse to a girl. For god's sake you CAN NOT rape the willing! Lord, don't even get me started on Gaara lemons that have abuse in them.

What you must understand is is that how many people you will hurt when you post stuff like that. I'm being serious, when I read stories abot a girl who was once raped but she's as right as rain the next day or the next week. No! You can't EVER get over rape, even being touched wrongly makes it haunt you for the rest of your life.

You might ask what does she know? She talks as though she's such a know-it-all as though she knows everthing.

Seriously people I always cry whenever I read rape stories or sexual abuse that don't treat the issue seriously or correctly. Because you don't know how much I wish I had the strength of those false girls to be able to forget about it and like everything's normal. Because I can't. No victim can.
Another example would be Sesshoumaru stories. I don't read them because of the content or Naraku ones. I know its up to me for what I read and yes it is, but still its the same way racism is dealt with isn't it? If someone wrote a racist book, they could always argue to people who get offended by saying 'why did you read it in the first place when I warned you?' Why? Because it shouldn't have been there in the first place.

I've read so many times where people say how they wish to be raped by Gaara or someone as hot as he is. Trust me sweetie, you wouldn't no matter how good-looking he is, its too terrifying to even describe the horror that you'll feel at that point.

All right I'm not saying that you shouldn't pretend that rape or sexual abuse doesn't exist because it does. You know that, I know that and everyone else knows that. But when you write a rape story don't call it a lemon, don't call it even a forced lemon just call it its true name.

A Rape Story

I don't hate lemons, seriously I don't. I'd rather have people having sex willingly than it being forced upon them.

So if you write a rape story please think about all the people who actually really would in real life go through what you're about to write and maybe you'll be a bit more careful when you write so you'll write the right emotions OK?
