~Perfect Blue~ (A Yami Malik x Khemet one-shot) II

Dedicated to Arwen!!!!!!! Yippy, finally! The beached whale's name was Willy. Cry for Willy. NOW! Sorry. Khemet's been watching too much Lilo & Stitch, and I've been watching way too much Matantei Loki Ragnarok.... FUSHIGI MYSTERYYYYYYYYYYY! Genre: Humor, supernatural, general. LOL. Maybe romance. And I wrote this listening to Truly madly deeply (Savage Garden), and Somebody told me (the killers). I make NO sense >XD OF COURSE this is a YAMI MALIK oneshot. NOT a Malik one. I only say Malik so that I don

Perfect Blue

It was all a haze. You looked on but the mist was too thick. Staggering towards a source of dim light, you noticed you were walking on wet sand. Drawing closer to the light, it turned out to be a light post. Right in the middle of the beach. OK. You could hear the waves, and as you turned your head, your eyes distinguished a dark mass. Squinting your eyes, you could make out... a beached whale?
You didn't know what to think. A small notice read that you were in Hawaii.
But whales didn't go near Hawaii, right?
And... wait a second! Was that....
A bald man with large black eyes and willowy complexion smiled at you. He looked just like an UFO out of a magazine. Scratch that, he WAS an UFO!
He waved hello.
You blinked, and waved hello.
Surrealism, anyone?
You were starting to feel funny..........

You opened your eyes. It had all been a dream. Sitting on the bed, you yawned.
"I feel today's gonna be a very weird day...", you thought.
****

"Hello Hawaii!" You exclaimed, looking out of the open window at the primorously shining, tempting aqua green ocean.
"Hello headache," Yami Malik whispered slowly, but sarcastically.
"Come ON Malik, you've GOT to try this thing! I've no idea what it is, but it tastes awesome...!" you said a bit too bubbly for Malik's liking.
"Yeah, I'm dying to- in fact, let me die first."
You pouted in an exagerated way. "I know you aren't a morning person, but can't you shrugg it off for once?"
"Watch me try," he replied apathetically.
"I'd love to, but sadly we can't sit here all day. We woke up early for a reason, right?"
"To have breakfast in peace, without having to stand all the annoying american tourists?"
You slapped your face. You almost wanted to just quit and go back to bed. Almost.
"Yes, but also because they say that if you catch a morning ride to Kahuku Pt. there's a ferry that leaves for the islands that are parallell to the beach! I heard it's awesome, so drink up your coffee and let's go."
"Stop in Haleiwa, it's a very quiet place," Malik mumbled, mimicking some brochure. "Quiet my ass, there are loud americans swarming the place like ants, and the best I can do is wake up early to avoid them, picture perfect."
"What are you talking about, honey?" you asked absentmindedly, as you looked from the palmtrees and beds of flowers where some odd fuchsia species proliferated, to Yami Malik.
"Nothing," he said, a vein of annoyance popping on his forehead as he saw you grinning at his bad temper- "Let's go, people speaking in English with a potato in their mouths are worse than a rant from the Pharaoh."
You couldn't but giggle.
****

The jeep ride was pathetically uneventful. Oh, a palm tree! Wait... another palm tree. There were seriously too many of those around.
"What do you think if I tell you I read about UFO sightings here in Hawaii?" you asked him.
He lifted his eyebrow, as if to say, 'are you serious?'. He shook his head and said, "I'd think you've been watching too much Lilo & Stink..."
"It's Lilo & Stitch, Malik."
"Yeah, whatever."
****

"I-it can't be...!"
You looked at the horizon, frustrated. You were knee-length in the crystal clear water. "Come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Yami Malik rubbed his brow. "Even if you yell, the ferry's not gonna come back."
"B-but... Malik.... we missed it! And we'd even woken up early... T_T..."
A vein of annoyance popped on his forehead."That's the part that I regret."
"Well... if you're open up to suggestions, I have an idea..."
****

"Sunset? Already? Mou, I wanted the day to last longer. We were having so much fun...!"
Yami Malik put his arms behind his head, and let out a small smile. "Yeah, I gotta agree. The snorkeling idea was good."
You grinned, and leant your head on his shoulder. "That dolphin was unexpected."
"Uncalled for," he mouthed, "Those things are annoying." You laughed.
The sea's call was gentle and soothing, it was calm and beautiful, and the water reflected a pale orange, or salmony pink shade that was tingeing the sky in a more vivid way. The outline of some of the islands you'd intended on going earlier that day appeared black against the horizon.
"I love Hawaii. There's only one thing missing..."
Malik rose an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yeah. An UFO."
"Khemet..." he said, in a threatening way.
You let out a short laugh. "Kidding, kidding. It's perfect. I wouldn't have it any other way."
He looked pensive.
"Me neither."
He tilted your face up. The feeling in your stomach didn't distinguish between the first kisses and the ones that had been exchanged recently... in a way it was the good thing. Man, Yami Malik didn't seem to lose his touch. And, how old was he? Like 30, if you weren't mistaken... oh, but you were terrible when it came to remembering ages.
Back to the moment, it indeed felt like an Air Supply moment. Sticky and sweet, as if you were bathing in a pool of honey. Just as disgusting, and well... as addictive, too. Mmm, honey....
Sometimes you just *wanted* to bitchslap yourself senseless.
But that wasn't possible ^^U
"Malik..." you whispered, and you felt your own breath, since it bounced off Malik's chin.
"Make up your mind," he said with an all but coy, dark smirk .
The mutual sense of understanding was pretty good, as you were starting to realize.
"I have a feeling..." you said, leaning your head against his chest, "A feeling that's not exactly---"
*Insert loud neigh and sound of hooves galloping on the sand.*
Malik was the one who reacted. He stood up and pulled you up, and dragged you to a side of the beach, near a group of palm trees. Before getting to the palm trees, though, you stumbled on the sand and fell face flat on it, dragging the blonde Egyptian down as well. But it was a good thing that he had reacted, because immediately after he was sitting on the sand glaring daggers at you, an imponent stallion ran over the place where you two'd been sitting previously, sending clouds of sand flying everywhere.
Malik looked at you, glare forgotten.
You looked blank, and so did he.
Suddenly, some freakishly dressed teen surged out of nowhere, and started screaming unintelligible things at the horse.
You blinked. "Can this day get any odder?". As if to answer your question, some eerie pink lights started forming designs in the faraway dusk sky.
"Ufos," Yami Malik stated, eyeing them bored.
You blinked.... "Now it's also starting to get scary..."

You liked? Well, I gotta confess I've got an ugly case of:
1) Writer's block
2) Lazyness
3)Obsession over Matantei Loki Ragnarok
That all confluences in a lack of updates. I'm sorry guys, really. I hope this oneshot made up for it. < =P

OMAKE!

"Well... we finally got the ferry... "
You sighed.
"Really, now that we're here in the island, the ferry goes on without us! They practically marooned us, hmph!"
"Everytime this lame author writes oneshots about us, we end up alone at night," Yami Malik growled, fixing his angry eyes in the line of the horizon- lights that came from the main island of Oahu could be seen clearly.
You sighed. "Really, she should stop listening to Savage Garden, Air Supply or whatnot when she writes. She's starting to get repetitive."
"Yeah." He sighed.
"Maybe she's trying to insinuate something?"
He turned round to look at you. "Huh?"
"Yeah, I mean... we're alone, at night... in a deserted island..." you counted.
"No, my dear. She's just unimaginative. YOU are the one trying to insinuate something..."
"M-MALIK!!!!!" You blushed many shades of red...
"...not that I mind."

Marine: Ehem, yes... after bashing the author, the two characters mentioned above left the scene after the author told them to get a room... I wonder why *really clueless.*
*sound of tick-tack of a clock, time passes and the author STILL has no clue of why her characters left...*
*She finally realizes...*
*She blushes from head to toes.* H-hey!!! I didn't mean it literally!!! COME BACK HERE!!!!!!!!! T_T... I'm a failureeee >< ... BTW, I have one last thing I want to give you guys. For your amusement... this is THE EVIDENCE!!!! (LOL... I don't believe in UFOS... but I found this pic when I googled for info xD.)...:

So? XD Ahaha, LOL, love me. Or at least review? Pretty please? *_*
