Billy ran to where Kyle was crying in Lora's arms. Mr. Butterman had come over and he was standing over them feeling helpless. "What's the matter?" Billy asked. Them, all three of them, seemed to stare at him, as he pulled the falling towel up a little. "Why don't you go get dressed?" Mr. Butterman asked. "No. Tell me what's wrong," he said, more a demand than anything else. "It's nothing. We... Rose just ran off," Lora said. "Now go get dressed." Billy went upstairs and looked in her usual hiding places, she wasn't in any of them. He went down to the bottom floor, nowhere again. The front door opened and in came Aiden and Riley. "Why are you naked?" Aiden asked, up front and forward. "Long story. We can't find Rose," Billy said, catching the towel again. Riley's brow furrowed. "Well, then you obviously haven't been looking. She's in the clearing, listening to her walkman. She might be asleep. I saw her when the cab drove by," he jerked his thumb in the direction of the door.
CAN'T FIND ROSE!!!!!
"And you left her there?!" Billy shrieked. Riley lifted an eyebrow at Billy's outburst and smirked when the other boy blushed and tugged on his towel. Aiden shrugged as he dropped his bag into the closet. "She looked fine when the bus went by." Billy glared at him. "Well she's probably not. Kyle yelled at her to grow up and Rose ran off." Aiden's eyebrows rose. "Kyle yelled? What upset her enough to do that?" Riley eyed Aiden closely; a hint of jealousy flaring in his chest at the blonde's concern for the ballerina. "Jake got her riled, that's all I know," Billy huffed before turning to Riley, "Where's the clearing at?" Riley opened his mouth to answer, but Aiden cut in again, "Jake? What did the bastard do?"
Billy chill out!
Shut up, Aiden! More important things!!!
"I don't know, but they looked like flirting gone wrong," Billy snapped, getting fed up with delays. Aiden cursed before flying up the steps to his oldest friend; Kyle was the only one left from the original time Aiden had arrived at Wooten House. Riley sighed as he watched the other disappear in a hurry. He turned to Billy as the quarterback shrugged his jacket back on. "Go get clothes on and I'll take you there. It's still raining so bring a jacket." Billy nodded before dashing up the stairs, only to come back moments later pulling on a black blazer over a white undershirt and trying to fix his jean zipper as he slipped into a pair of Aiden's sneakers; Billy's being still in his room.
Riley lifted an eyebrow at the other's clothes. "I didn't know you had jeans." Billy grunted under his breath a quick "Don't like 'em," as he finally finished his rush dressing. Riley nodded to himself before opening the front door and stepping out into the downpour that had started while he was inside. Billy snatched an umbrella for Rose before following Riley out.

Aiden arrived upstairs and followed the voices towards the library. He threw the door open to the library and raced towards Kyle and Lora; pushing past Mr. Butterman rudely. "Kyle, it's Aiden. What's wrong?" he soothed, fore-going his normal cheery attitude for a more serious one, as the girl latched herself to his neck. "I y-yelled at h-her! And now she's missing. I was so m-mean to her, but I'm just f-frustrated." Aiden forced her head out from under his chin and wiped at her tears with his thumbs. "I'm pretty sure Billy and Riley just left to go get her from the clearing. Let's get you to bed now, and you can see her when you wake up." Kyle nodded, still crying quietly as she let herself be lifted onto Aiden's back. As Aiden passed through the door Jake glared at him hatefully, but Aiden glared back and made a point to kick the door shut in his face.
When Billy saw her threw the pouring rain , he set off at a run, his feet splashing in the mud. When he got to her, she looked like something out of a horror movie. Her jeans and shirt were covered in dark spots where her bleeding wrist had rested. Her face was pale and she had black bags under her eyes. He grabbed her up and shook her gently trying to wake her. "Rose, wake up, Rose!" he said, Riley standing over them. Rose's eyes open just so slightly. "Hi," she said weakly, her wet blonde hair was sticking to her face. She couldn't see the tears on Billy's face. "You said you were fine," Billy said, his voice not wavering as she smiled at him. "I am fine," She said. "Now."
"Hate to break this up, but let's get her in and out of the rain," Riley said. Billy nodded, and then picked Rose up. "Hold on to me," he said. "Your sister is so worried about you, and I have a story to tell you about your boyfriend trying to seduce me when your feeling better, ok?" he said and Rose nodded. When they got to the house, Billy told Wendy to go get her a warm night gown. He took her to his bedroom, she had told him it was more comfortable than hers.
