I woke up in the hospital wing. My head throbbed. There was bouquets of roses everywhere and a little pile of cards that said 'Get Well' and stuff like that. Even so I opened them all and all of them were signed Harry. As I was reading the last card, Harry had sat beside my bed.
"I didn't hear you come in. Are you okay?" I asked. If Draco did any damage I would kill him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. But my stomach's a little swollen though," he lifted his shirt.
"How long was I out of it?"
"For a few days."
I groaned and bumped my head on the bar of my bed. Madam Pomfrey gave me a stern look.
"Thank you for all the roses, even though my brother beat the hell out of your stomach."
"It's nothing, I've had worse though."
He started telling me about all of his accidents that would have killed any normal person. Harry wasn't normal, he was unique, and special. He told me about the room on the third floor when he collapsed, then about the time when he had no bones in his right arm and had to regrow them all. He kept telling me all kinds of accidents that had happened to him until Madam Pomfrey kicked him out.
However Madam Pomfrey let me out the next morning. I was starving, and dying to see Harry when I wasn't being watched by Madam Pomfrey.
>>>>> TO THE GREAT HALL>>>>>
"Harry!" I shrieked when I saw him. He gave me a friendly hug as we both sat down. Draco glared at me but I ignored it.
"Hey, how you doing? No more Madam Pomfrey?" he questioned jokingly.
"No, and I'm glad too, I didn't like the Hospital Wing."
Someone came up behind me and poked me on the shoulder. I turned around to see a short girl with short black hair. She was pretty ugly.
"Are you Draco's sister?" she asked.
"Yeah, why," I asked suspiciously.
"Hurt my Draki-poo again, and I'll make sure that pretty face of yours will be nothing but history, you bitch!" she squealed.
She walked away. I was going to get up and punch her face in but Harry held me down.
"That's Pansy Parkinson, she's crazy over Draco, just save yourself the trouble," he said wisely.
"Draco never talks about her at home," I said wonderingly.
"He probably hates her or something."
"I'm ready to go and kick her ass!"
"Just ignore her."
He held an arm around my back and slowly made his way down to my waist.
"Angelina, you want to meet me in the common room? Say around 11?" he asked.
"Sure Harry," I wondered what was going to happen.
All through the day I couldn't concentrate on anything, nothing but what tonight will contain. The beauty of it is, this time Draco couldn't control my decision. I was free to do whatever I wanted without the threatening of Draco or my father. This time the choice was mine.
>>>>> TO THE GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM >>>>>
I sat on the couch waiting for Harry to show up. Looking around, I saw this beautiful dress in red. There was a note on top of it.
"Change into this" That was all it said. I carried the dress to the girls dormitories and changed into the red dress. When I made my way back downstairs, the room had been completely transformed. There were roses all over the floor. A slow song was playing, Quest for Love by Jewel, and Harry stood in the middle of the floor all suited in a tux, with the works.
"Harry, what's all of this?" I questioned quietly.
"Just come down and see," he held out his hand. He swept off the stairs and gracefully danced with me to the music on the rose petals. We danced to the song, me in my beautiful red dress, and him in his fancy tux.
"Angelina, this must be really sudden, but will you be my girlfriend?"
He got down on one knee and held a jewelery box. I took the box and opened it. Inside was a gold necklace with a heart made out of sparkling rubies. In the middle of the heart said 'My Girl'.
"Harry, I would love to be your girl," I said slowly. Tears were forming in my eyes for some strange reason but I didn't care. Harry stood up and placed his lips upon mine.
Afterwards he lifted me and carried me to the girls dormitories. He gently laid me on my bed right next to Hermione's who was sleeping with her History of Magic book under her head. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips and walked to the boys dormitories. I fell asleep right there in that red dress and gold necklace.
>>>>> THE NEXT MORING >>>>>
I woke up for some reason, before Hermione. My body tingled with anticipation of seeing Harry again. Hermione stirred. I grabbed her book from last night and hit her gently on the head with it, even then she didn't wake up. I grabbed her pillow out from under her head and hit her with that too. But she still wouldn't wake up. I grabbed a plastic cup from the bathroom, filled it with ice cold water and poured it straight on her face. She screamed so loud the boys were shouting at us to shut up. Her eyes were wide and she started hitting me with my pillow and soon enough, there were feathers all over the floor. Hermione cleaned it up and stared at me.
"What's with the dress?" she asked wonderingly.
I realized I was still wearing the red dress from last night. Hermione took a closer look at my necklace and screamed again. Boys started shouting at us again.
"Oh my god, Harry did this, didn't he?" Hermione shrieked.
"Did what?" I asked innocently.
"Whatever you two did last night of course! He's been planning this for days!"
"Just so you know, whatever Harry and I did last night is our private business. You do not have to get involved."
"Fine."
"So, what have you and Ron been doing lately?"
"Just so you know, whatever Ron and I did over the week is our private business," she mimicked.
All I could do was laugh.
>>>>> TO THE GREAT HALL >>>>>
I stood in the Great Hall looking for Harry. There was no sign of messy black hair anywhere. Someone grabbed my shoulders and spun me around so quickly I nearly fell.
"What's your damn problem?" Draco shouted.
The breath was knocked out of me. My chest tightened at the sight of his red face. He squeezed my shoulders even tighter.
"OK, one let go of me, and two what do you mean?" now I was getting mad.
"I told you to stay away from Potter!" He still kept a good grip on my shoulders.
"Yeah, you said that but that doesn't mean I have to listen to you. Anyway who told you we were going out?"
"Let me see, um EVERYONE. Everyone knows now."
"God news travels fast around here."
"I don't give a damn! Just break up with him, today!"
He let go of my shoulders and strided off. However my chest was still tight and afraid when he held my shoulders. Just then Harry walked in the Great Hall.
"Hey Angie, what's the matter? You look deathly pale," he said concerned.
"Um, . . . a little dizzy, that's all. Hey, can we meet by the Black Lake again, tonight," I asked hopefully.
"Sure, around 7?"
"Yeah, sounds good. I'm gonna go to the hospital wing now."
"All right, take care of yourself."
Click the smallest button and it will be peace.
