I Just Want You To Know ( Axel ) Chapter 8: Lost, Will They Be Found?

You open your eyes, as you see your environment, it's not like the one you see lately. No, it's not your room in Twilight Town, so where is this place?

Oh, now you recognize it. You're back in The World That Never Was. You sit up and scratch your head. "I don't think I feel someone brings me here..." you said.

"You're such a true sleeper, I brought you here, you know," someone said, who you see is Axel as your turn your head to the source of voice.

"Axel?" you called to him questioningly. He sighs. "Is that tone about 'why am I here'? You know what happened, at least we wouldn't want to have Xemnas knows very well about that."

"Oh..." you said. "But! Has mom known about--"

"I have told you when we were still there, she has known about this, don't worry. And for additional information, I gave her the necklace already," he said. You tilt your head to the side. "When?" He scratches his head. "When... you're... still unconcious..."

You blink. "I see," you said. He looks down at your body and turn around. "Take a bath and then we'll train," he said. You grinned and nodded before you skip away to the bathroom. Axel takes a deep breathe and sigh it out.

You're humming a random tone while you're placing some of the toothpaste on the brush of the toothbrush. You stop humming when you notice you're just in your undergarments. Your jaw which was opened because you were going to put the brush in stay like that in surprise. "AXELLLL!!!!!" you whined real loud.

Demyx sighs. "You two are unbelievable..." he said. You pout. "Axel could've just put me down and let me sleep, he didn't need to open up my clothes and strip me off!" you growled. Axel's green eyes glared back at your blue eyes which were glaring at himself. "It was kinda wet, so..."

"C'mon, do you really need to fight at this time?" Demyx sighed. "You said you're gonna start training today, eh, Airine?" he asked. You nod. "... where's... where's Roxas?" you asked, feeling a little bad about the situation without Roxas.

"He's in his room, resting. He's still tired because of yesterday," Demyx explained. You blink. "Oh..." you said. "Well, at least we can start now, can't we?" Axel said. You glare at him, still hating him for the harassment. Axel growls as if he is warning you he knows you are glaring at him without he even looks at you. "Oh, come on!" he gives a slight whine in his tone. "Can't you just forget that and let's train?!"

You hiss and turn your head away. Axel growls again. "Come on, get over it!" he said, taking your arm, but you pull your arm back and away from him. He sighs. "This is the part I dislike from girls. Sensitivity of negativities..." Axel said.

"Can't you just give me some positivity?!" Axel growled another time. You don't answer him. Demyx sighs, seems tired looking at both of you, both are stubborn, both are strong. "How if you give me the positivity, Airine? Let's get over it and train, ok?"

You look at Demyx and grins. "Ok!" you said. And that makes Axel feels like... no, not a stab into his heart. But more likely... a large boulder comes over and makes him flat on the ground.

Axel's PoV

What does that mean?! I thought as I spar with her. She obeys Demyx but not me! I thought again. She likes Demyx? Could she? Argh! How could this feeling come over m--

Drop.

I drop on the ground as Airine throws the sacred Keyblade at me. Airine grins. "YAY! I WIN!" she jumped up and down. And I keep thanking to Kingdom Hearts because the key did not hit my face with its sharp, pointy end, or ends.

"Urrghh, damn! You are taking chances when I'm distracted!" I point the fault to her... that is if I may call it a fault.

She raises an eyebrow at me. "Oh, yeah? I don't really think so," she said. "After all, it's a not-planned strategy!" she chuckled. Demyx just can giggles. And I just can... twitch my eye...

"What the... hey, that was cheating, that was not even a slight strategy!" I said again, err... you have said it without thinking of anything Axel, you're done, err... done in this argument-thing, or was that argumenting?

Anyway. "Who was cheating? I'm not! It's your fault you're distracted, Axel! What are you thinking about, Axel? Your girlfriend?" Airine grinned, slyly at me. I pout. No, thanks. I was just wondering about you! "You just want don't want to admit your defeat right?"

I sigh. Ok. "If that's what you want," I said. "Let's repeat the training," he said. "Ok," she agreed.

Demyx is off to find Roxas. I get to my fight stance. "Get ready, ok?" I smirked. She rolls her eyes. "Just set and go!" she whined. I do and both metals are clashing against each other and noises come. "Axel! Airine!" I heard Demyx is calling to us, I still focus on my enemy, Airine. "What is--"

"Roxas is gone!"

I naturally stop, so does Airine. "You say... what?" I asked, now looking at Demyx. Demyx is looking really worried, I think he knows what he's talking about. "Roxas!" he said. "Roxas is gone!"

I look at Airine, who is still looking horrified at Demyx, who told us... our dear friend Roxas, is gone.

Airine's PoV

Roxas is... what? I thought. I quickly dismiss my Keyblade off my hold and run as fast as I can, I run to a direction, where it leads to the end of the World That Never Was.

I just had feeling about, Roxas going down there. And I still have the feeling. I find Roxas, being brought by, the tall guy yesterday. Riku, was it? The taller Riku.

"Stop it right there!" I said, pointing at them. Riku stops, while Roxas is still unconcious over his shoulder. "Where, where are you going to bring Roxas?!" I said. He looks at me. "Somewhere," he said. "You don't need to know, or do you want to be brought again?"

"I--wait! You're going to bring Roxas to the haunted mansion right?! Give him back! I don't know what are you going to do to him! But I have... I have a total bad feeling about this!" I said.

I can see the smirk under his hood. "You must have been having that total bad feeling because... you know Roxas will not be in your sight anymore. More or less, it's hard to talk to him again, and even see him. As person, no, Nobody."

That babbling again. "N-Nobody?" wait, Airine, you have no time to lose about this! "Wait! I'm not just going to let things happen. I will question about nothing! I'll do anything to get Roxas back, he is my friend!"

"Your friend? More likely a brother. Or, should I say... brother... with more emphasizing?" he said. ... I don't underst--

... my mind was cut off.
It's pitch black.
What happened?
Last time I got a full sight. He... he was lost from my sight!
Where did he go?
... Roxas...

"Airine?"

Voices. Who is that? ... Demyx? I open my eyes to see, right, Demyx, and I'm in a different room. I'm not surrounded by darkness and buildings anymore. Other than those, I'm in... the castle again.

I sit up, but a pain come over my head. I don't want to make things go worse with admitting this pain. "Are you ok, Airine?" Demyx asked. I nod. "Very much so."

"Good to see you so," Axel said. His face is straight, no emotion. "I thought I was gonna lose someone again or something." Again? Oh! "Wh-Where's... Roxas? Where is he?!"

"Good question," Axel said. He looks away, and Demyx looks down at the ground, as if... we're in a funeral...

Does this mean... "We lost him?" I frowned. "Roxas! We lost Roxas to that guy?!" I said. Axel shakes his head. "It's no one's fault. But anyway, yes, we lost him. Completely."

"You know Roxas will not be in your sight anymore. More or less, it's hard to talk to him again, and even see him. As person, no, Nobody."

No! "There's no such way we're gonna lose Roxas forever! Actually, what's been happening to Roxas?!" I asked. Axel sighs. "You know, that guy took him to Twilight Town, and bring him to another world. The virtualized Twilight Town."

"Neat," I said. "Then?" Axel sighs again. "... for days, that guy will take Roxas to the truth, which we don't want to bring. Roxas is still kind of like, a kid. Once curious, it blinds him." I frown. "What truth?" I asked. Axel looks at me. "Simple truths," he added the plural grammar into the word "truth". "Roxas wants to know who he really is, how he got the Keyblade, and so on. Organization XIII decided a conclusion that he has betrayed us."

"I'm curious about things too," I said. "Who are you all actually? Nobody, it has been mentioned, what is it? And how do I got this Keyblade? And... who is Roxas for real?"

"Simple," Axel said. "We are Nobodies. Then Nobodies are us. You got that Keyblade because it's the nature's decision, unlike Roxas, he got it because of someone's nature decision. And that someone, is Roxas's whole. Roxas is a Nobody."

"I don't understand, Axel," I said, glaring at him. "If you are Nobodies, and Nobodies are you, tell me the definition!"

Axel closes his eyes. "They're nothing important. What you really have to know now is that you have to get a rest," he said. "So get a rest and shut the questions up."

Demyx, is still depressed, and shocked it seems. "I, I guess, I'll leave you guys now. See you."

I nod and Demyx leaves us alone. Axel says nothing, so do I. But my mind asks a thousand questions. Nobodies, they are like pictures, whereas pictures hold a thousand words, Nobodies hold a thousand questions, a thousand mysteries.

So that's why you are a Nobody, huh, Axel?

I love Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center too. *_* That's why I'm sorry if I make the story-dialogues like lawyers, prosecutors, and witnesses in courts. xp
