"Gerard, come back here!!" Jessie screeched as Gerard stormed off the bus, grabbing a lighter and a pack of cigarettes on the way out. He stashed them in his jacket pocket. He walked behind another group of buses and threw himself on the floor, his back to the tires.
When the fuck did she become so demanding? Gerard thought as he sat thinking. Sure, he thought he had loved her, but now she had just plain crossed the line. Gerard had saw her true colors.
Gerard reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the box that he knew he was supposed to stay away from.
But he need it so badly.
A cig hanging limply from his lip with lighter in place, when someone stepped from the shadows.
"I thought you quit." He stated.
Gerard jumped up to his feet.
"It's just not the right time." He muttered placing the tobacco filled stick back in the comforts of his pursed lips.
"Nope." The man jutted forward, grabbing the pack from Gerard's lap and throwing them into a puddle a few feet away.
"What the fuck, Davey?" Gerard spat, dodging Davey's second attempt to grab the cigarette that was placed firmly between his lips.
"You asked us to make sure you wouldn't smoke and damn it, I'm going to do it." Davey said going in for another go, this time succeeding.
"Fine," Gerard huffed, throwing his arms up in aggravation, "I'll just go get more." He stood walking the opposite direction of the chaos know as Warped Tour.
I never stopped to think of you
"No..." Davey stated, clasped his hand onto his arm.
"Leave me the fuck alone." Gerard growled, ripping from his grip.
"Gerard, you know if you do it, that'll be it for My Chem." Davey said rather suddenly. Gerard stopped dead in his tracks.
"You don't know that." Gerard mumbled, turning his back towards Davey.
"I know it's true, and I know that you know it's true." Davey said, stepping closer to Gerard from behind.
"No, it's not." Gerard said shakily, knowing that Davey was too close.
"Gerard." Davey said. He pushed Gerard against the nearest bus, and caressed his cheek softly, smiling as heard Gerard whimper softly.
"Shhhh, it'll be OK." Davey smiled persuasively. Gerard just looked at him, both in fear and shock. Davey smiled as he traced Gerard's lips with his finger. Davey rubbed tenderly on his chest before back up a bit looking him dead in the eye. He smirked holding up Gerard's lighter and an extra cigarette that Gerard managed to stash. "Don't give into old habits just because you had a fight with your girlfriend; it's just not worth it in the long run. Find some other distraction; something less destructive." Dave said before turning, about to depart back to his bus.
I'm always wrapped up in
things I cannot win
Those words echoed in Gerard's head; each time they made more and more sense. "Davey." He called just as Davey was almost out of sight.
"Yea-" He started before Gerard suddenly grabbed him and pushed him up against I Am Ghost's bus. A small grunt that escaped was silenced as Gerard's lips covered he's own.
Both men had kissed their fair share of boys in there days, there is no denying that, but neither of them ever felt the way they did at that moment.
It felt, good right
"Gerard" Davey said, breathlessly between kisses. Gerard quickly grabbed Davey's face in his hands, and crashed his lips back onto Davey's. Again, Davey pulled away from Gerard.
"Gerard. My bus. Now." Gerard simply grunted into Davey's mouth, and pulled him towards the direction of AFI's bus without much difficulty.
The guys made their way to the back of the bus rather clumsily, where the bunks lay. Davey pushed Gerard on a bunk and straddled him, quickly reattaching their lips again.
You are the antidote that gets me by something strong
Davey reached his hand down towards Gerard's belt buckle, smiling into the kiss. Gerard tensed up at the feel of Davey's cold hand on the edge of his pants. Davey sensed this and look at Gerard.
"Everything OK?" he asked, breathless.
"I'm fine. Let's just slow it down a bit." Gerard looked up into Davey's soft, brown eyes.
"Okay." Davey gently got off of him and escorted him towards the living area. He gently pushed Gerard down on the couch and began their lusty make out session. "I'm getting addicted to your taste." He laughed as they both came up for some air.
"I could say the same thing." He smiled before pecking the corner of his lip. "I think I found my distraction."
