"I HATE YOU!" Chazz & I both screamed at the same time, storming off in opposite directions.

You're probably confused, I'll elaborate a little, My names Alyssa, but nobody around here calls me that, not even Chazz! People call me Ali. I'm in my third year of duel academy and my best friends are Jaden Yuki & Syrus Truesdale, we've been together since our first entrance exams.

Yeah thats me riiiiiiight there.
I'm pretty average huh? Well I think so, I mean I'm no different from half the girls in this school...Actually thats a lie, I'm very different.
See..Most of the girls in this school are attracted to, no,Obsessed over guys, any guy to be specific.
I've never really cared much for boyfriends, or is it just boys have never cared much for me?
I'm always the friend, never the girlfriend.
That's alright I suppose, but it'd be nice to have some boy to cuddle upto sometimes.
Anyway thats enough about me! You probably want to know what the hell was going on just then.
Well...Chazz is an as*hole, simple as. Since our first day here we've hated each others guts. I think he's an egotistical jerk who only cares about himself.
I don't know what he thinks about me, but I couldn't care less...He smells funny anyway.

I stormed off down the hallway, ignoring people who had just witnessed our little 'spat' and were currently whispering behind their hands 'discreetly'
Glaring at anyone that got in my way I briskly turned the corner, on my way to the rally that was gonna start soon, something about new students.
As I turned the corner I slammed into someone, looking up I saw a blue haired boy I'd never seen before, judging by his outfit he wasn't from the school. I looked up and saw he had dark blue hair and the most amazing green eyes I'd ever seen. I mean I love my eyes but his were just...Wow.
"Hey beautiful" He said, grinning at me, a thick southern accent really showing.
I pushed past him quickly, ignoring the confused look he had on his face, I was too annoyed to think about what he'd just said to me.
"O-kay, See ya beautiful" I heard him shout from behind me, this caused a small smile to appear on my face as I turned to go into the hall, I took a seat beside Syrus as he greeted me happily.
"Whats up with you?" he asked me, glaring in front of me I crossed my arms and muttered 'Chazz'
"Again?! Thats the third time today!" Syrus said, amazed.
"I know" I pouted, "Where's Jaden?"
"I have no idea! I better go look for him" Syrus said, standing up and shuffling past me to go off to look for Jaden.
I laughed lightly to myself, It would be like Jaden to be late.
I started up a conversation with Tyranno Hassleberry, a Ra Yellow who was currently living in the Slifer dorms.
I laughed at the joke he'd just told me before I felt someone behind me kick my chair, I turned round and glared at the person.
"Chazz"
"Lyssa" Chazz smirked down at me, I rolled my eyes at him before turning around.
No sooner after Syrus came down, followed by the ever happy Jaden Yuki.
I smiled at both of them, standing up so Syrus could get past and sitting back down, to have Jaden sit on my right.
"Where were you then?" I asked him
"Oh up on the roof, I met some cool new duelist here"
"Cool, What was his name?" I asked, interested.
"Oh..I dunno, I guess I didn't ask" Jaden said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well maybe he's one of the new students here, we might find out soon" I said smiling at him
"Oh yeah! Sweet" Jaden said, as he turned to face the front.
"We shall start with a student from Slifer reciting the schools pledge, Blair Flannigan!"
Everyone cheered as Blair raised her arm and started shouting out the pledge, when she finished she turned round to walk off, as she did she smirked and winked at Jaden, who confusedly sat there, eyes widening.
You saw Alexis a few seats away glare angrily at Blair and Jaden, this made me laugh.
"Looks like your little girlfriend fancies Jaden and not you Chazz" I said, still laughing.
"Hey, she was the one that had a crush on me" He said glaring down at me, I smiled sweetly and turned back around.
"This year we are very lucky to have four exchange students from different academys across the world, I'm sure you will all welcome them appropriatly"

"First we have Adrian Gecko"
A round of applause began as who you presumed to be Adrian walked out, he was a tall guy with spikey hair and glasses.
"Next we have Jim Cook"
Another round of applause was given, as a guy came out with a rather large crocodile on his back.
"And his crocodile Sheila" The Chancellor added.
"Aww thats so cute" I whispered
"Is that even allowed?!" Syrus gasped"
"Here's Axel Brodie"
More applause was given, as another boy came out, he didn't look very friendly, that was for sure.
"Finally we have Jesse Anderson"
People began clapping, although no boy came out, confused I looked around
"Where is he?" I asked confused
"I have no idea!" Jaden replied, also looking around
"Err...Jesse?" The chancellor shouted again, also seeming confused.
I heard a loud bang from the doors above, and turned round, with everyone also turning around.
The boy from earlier came running down the stairs quickly
"Hey its you!" Jaden said, standing up and addressing the boy
"Oh hey Jaden!" The boy replied
"You wouldn't happen to know where Jesse Anderson is would you?" Jaden asked
"Heh...Thats me" Jesse grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
The chancellor, however confused, regained himself and finally shouted
"And here we have, Jesse Anderson"
Everyone cheered as Jesse ran up onto the stage, and started waving his arms madly at everyone.
"And finally we have a new teacher joining us" the chancellor continued, "Here's Professor Viper!"
Nobody cheered as a tall man came out from behind the curtain, he looked scary as he glared at the crowd.
I zoned out on the speech he was making about how things were going to change this year, I let my eyes focus on Jesse.
I could feel my cheeks go into a light blush as I watched Jesse on the stage, he was the guy that called me beautiful, he thinks I'm beautiful!
Maybe this year would be more exciting than I thought!
This is what I thought,
