After I left Harry I went straight to Hermione. She would know what to do. I found here in the Gryffindor common room reading, with Ron sitting as close as he could, by her side.
"Ronniekins? I know you and Hermione are "busy" but can I speak with her for just a second of your precious time?" I joked.
Ron's face turned red and Hermione was just as red as he was.
"Sure. And Angelina, if you call me 'Ronniekins' again, I'll get you!" he shouted as we were going up to the girls dormitories. As soon as we got up there, Hermione's face was it's original color, but her expression was full of worry.
"Angelina, what's wrong?" she questioned me.
I told her the entire thing with Draco and Harry and how my father would kill me if Draco ever told him about me and Harry.
"Well, I was going to ask you this, but don't you think all of this might be a little sudden? I mean, it's only been ten days since we got here and, well, don't you think it's a little soon?" she asked me.
"No, of course not! When I'm with Harry, my past seems to go away. It's like when I'm with him, I become a totally different person. Before at home, I could never stand up to Draco, but now, I hold my ground around him and my father. And it feels great!" I exclaimed.
"Isn't that also a little dangerous? I mean, standing up to Draco and your father like that?"
"I don't feel like I'm in danger. I mean, I have as much power as them. Maybe more."
"Angelina, no you don't. You have no idea what kind of power hides inside both Draco and your father. It's really risky to keep egging them on like this. Soon enough neither of them are going to take it and they might do something horrible. To you, or to Harry."
Reality just hit me then and there. Of course Draco and my father had more power than me. They had the support of the darkest wizard in the world, who is trying to kill my boyfriend, and they might kill me along with him.
"Then what should I do Hermione, I want to be with him. But I don't want to put him in danger either," I whined desperately.
"Angelina, it's Harry. Harry can't be in anymore danger than he's been in before. And knowing Harry, he won't care what risks there are just being with you, just as long as he's with you," Hermione explained.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Damn, I knew Hermione was right. But my family and Draco especially would kill Harry before our relationship actually got anywhere.
"Why, don't you try talking to your father?" Hermione brought up.
"Hermione, they would throw me to Voldemort before I could say the word, 'love'. Trust me, it's like getting eaten by rabid dogs. Screw that, it's worse than being eaten by rabid dogs," I explained.
"Well what are you going to do?"
I thought a moment.
"I don't know Hermione. I mean Draco will make my life a living hell if I don't break up with Harry, but I just can't do that, I like him too much," I cried out.
"Well, whatever you decide, you better get going before you're late. Good luck." she said soothingly. She gave me a hug as I sobbed on her shoulder. I blew my nose, wiped my eyes and went into the bathroom. When I came back out I was in a black tank, blue jeans, and red flats. I had put some of my favorite potion that I had made myself on my face so it wouldn't look like I was crying. Thank god for magic! I hurried to the Black Lake. Harry sat against the big tree that always sat there. I had made up my mind. I sat right down next to him.
"Hey, what did you want?" his green eyes burned into mine with concern.
"I just wanted to spend some time with you, you know talk more," I said softly. I stared out at the lake. The moon shimmered on the surface, making the lake look like a thousand diamonds. We talked some more about our families, and Harry told me about his past years at Hogwarts. Then we started making out. We suddenly stopped with rustling coming from the other side of the tree. I tiptoed around the tree to find Ron and Hermione, asleep in each other's arms. Signaling Harry he followed me around the tree and tried to stop from laughing too hard. I leaned over to where Ron and Hermione's heads were and let out a ear piercing scream. Hermione sat up and almosst screamed. Ron just got up and banged his head on the tree. This time Harry was laughing really hard.
"Awwww, did Ronniekins and Hermione have a nice sleep? How did you two get down here without me knowing?" I asked through giggles.
"We went for a walk around the lake. We fell alseep by the tree," Hermione confessed blushing madly.
I turned to Ron who fell asleep by the tree again. Grabbing his feet, I pulled him to the banking of the lake and rolled him until he landed in the lake.
"Bloody hell, Angie. What was that for?" he asked dumbstruck.
"For falling asleep, Ronniekins."
"Stop calling me Ronniekins!"
"OK, Ronniekins,"
"That's it!" he yelled.
He ran out of the lake and chased me. I screamed all the way and hid behind Harry. Ron had gotten tired again and collapsed on the ground. We collapsed with him, holding our stomachs as we laughed. When we were done, me and Harry walked back up to the castle hand in hand. While walking up the many staircases up to the Gryffindor common room, two familar looking people was standing at the bottom, looking up at the ceiling. They were wearing dark cloaks that was obviously too big for them. They both made me feel uncomfortable, I clung to Harry's arm more firmly and watched as we climb the rest of the way.
>>>>> THE NEXT MORNING >>>>>
When I woke up the sun shone in my eyes, nearly blinding me. I hadn't gotten back to the common room until 2 in the morning and it was only 7:30! In frustration I banged my head on my pillow. My head hit something hard instead, causing my head to throb. I felt the pillow, looking for a prank of some sort. There right in the middle of my pillow was a hard lump. I lifted my pillow and found a really big rock sitting there. I scowled, but then I saw out of the corner of my eye, a little corner of paper sticking out. Without trying to rip it I carefully pulled it out from underneath the rock. The note said:
I know what you did last night. You will meet revenge, pain, and burden. Get ready to fall hard bitch.
I woke up Hermione to show her the note. She gasped and tried to comfort me. Then I remember the two guys in the cloaks last night. There was only one person who would send me this kind of note. Draco.
