b>Disclaimer I don't own Harry Potter. If I did I'd be filthy rich, but my name is Keely, not JK. Anything you don't recognize is mine though!
A/N I don't own Harry Potter. I really like this chapter. I think it's the longest chapter yet, so enjoy it. It was going to be longer, but I thought save it for the next chapter. I love your comments, so please keep them coming. I hope you enjoy this chapter, I don't think, it's much on the comedy side, but I like it, then again, I never find my work amusing. I just love to write this story. It was originally going to be 15 parts, but I think there is going to be more, as ideas I had for part 4, aren't even in the story yet. I have up to 10 planned so far, but because of missing out things, its probably at 11 or 12 parts planned.

"Where are we going?" Lily asked as the Marauders walked in the opposite direction to where James was heading. James hadn't noticed he was being followed anyway, he seemed to be in thought about something and Lily couldn't help wonder what. James didn't seem the one to think too deeply about things, but then again, he could be the type and surprise her completely.
"To get your invisibility cloak of course. We are far past those times where we used to hide by trees," Sirius answered with a laugh.
"Those were the days," Lily laughed, she was trying to act like she actually knew what they was going on about. Marauders weren't stupid, not at all, it just made Lily's job so much harder that they had all these secrets. Who knew the Marauders were so much more than what meets the eye? For some reason unknown, Lily wanted to learn more, she didn't know wherever it was her nosey side coming out or something else. Lily reckoned it was her nosey side, she was a bit nosey but she couldn't help it. If you want something to be a secret, whisper, write a note, just make sure nobody else could hear it!
Just then, a thought dawned on Lily, sometimes, she was a little slow with these things.
'James has an invisibility cloak?' she pondered the thought for a moment 'That explains a lot of things'
It explained why when she was on a date with Chad Cohagen, he kept on saying something was whacking him in the back, Lily couldn't see anything, neither could Chad, she'd thought him a bit loony and they didn't go on a date after that. It explained that time, where her Quill began to write on her parchment saying 'You're hot' in 5th year. Lily was surprised about how'd she never thought about it before. Lily guessed she just didn't imagine James having an invisibility cloak, those were hard to come by! Then again, he was James Potter.
'No wonder they got away with so many pranks' She thought grumbling, all those times, she'd knew they'd done something but couldn't prove it.
The Marauders came across a very ugly statue gargoyle, not that they were the most prettiest creatures anyway. Sirius disappeared for a moment behind it only to re-emerge with a cloak made of silvery grey material.
"Now, Let's go and stalk Evans," Sirius grinned.
Lily grinned back.
'Boy, are they scary' She thought, sighing on the inside. Stalking her seemed like a regular thing and in reality, it was.

James walked to meet up with Gwen. Would they have a moment again? He hoped not, the moments with someone else's boyfriend was just too weird. James wondered about earlier, Surely Gwen didn't want to tell him he liked tuna, It had to be something more. Why would any idiot tell someone they like tuna while having a moment
James eyes widened to the size of flying saucers when he realized what Gwen might have being trying to tell him earlier.
'What will I do if he tells me he loves me' James thought 'Hopefully, Lily doesn't love him. I don't know.Perhaps, I should say thank-you. No. Maybe it won't happen' James sighed.

He saw Gwen at the Statue. He'd only known what Statue because everybody met at this statue, it was quite a thing, James didn't know why, it smelled a little musty down in this hallway and the statue was a tad dirty but each to their own.
"Hi," Gwen greeted, kissing Lily on the cheek.
'Ew, there's slobber on my cheek' James thought, disgusted on the inside, hiding it by a fake smile that was plastered all over his face.
"Hiya." James greeted back.
"You look nice," Gwen complimented her.
James blushed, what he wanted to reply was 'Of course I look good, I'm Lily Evans!' but what his actual reply was "Erm, Thanks,"
"No problem," Gwen answered "Want to get going?"
'Not really' James thought bitterly but answered "Yeah, What's we doing tonight?" he smiled.
'I happen to be the best actor on this planet' He thought smugly.
"Picnic,"
"Cool."
Gwen looked at Lily strangely for a moment, since when did she say 'cool?' but soon shrugged it off and slipped his hand in hers. Perhaps, she was just trying out some new words?
'This is going to be wonderful' James thought sourly about the night. 'Oh why did Lily have to get a date this time?'

All four Marauders managed to fit under the cloak. It was large anyway, but with a simple spell, it had become huge. Slowly the huddled bunch followed behind them, they wasn't close, not at all, the two lovebirds were way in front of them.
"I've never liked Gwen anyway," Peter remarked as they walked.
"Me neither," Sirius said, "Not since he took those points of us a couple of months back,"
"She won't be with him for long," Remus hoped, he knew his friend would be gutted, if this relationship turned into more, became serious
"Let's hope," Lily said in the saddest tone she could muster, it's what she imagined James would do. Remus patted him on the back.
The few words that Remus spoke started a spiral of questions that whizzed throughout her brain. He was making her think about her relationship with Gwen. Okay, They'd only been going out for two long weeks but after they begun going out, Gwen told her, He'd liked her for a while but was always afraid to do anything because of James. He was funny, sweet, kind, cute, but Lily didn't get that pang. Lily sighed, she was currently walking through the land of confusion. Lily was a practical person, she didn't see the point of doing something it she was 100% happy with it.
'Calm down Lily' She thought scolding herself 'Give him a break'
A break? Once she was back in her body, She'd give Gwen a chance and then make up her mind, after all, he treated her well and was probably the best boyfriend she'd had so far.
"Seriously though," Sirius said and Lily snorted. Could the Marauders even be serious? Hearing those words come out of Sirius Blacks mouth was just the icing on the cake. The only one who could be serious now and again was Remus.
Sirius mocked glared at Lily. "As, I was saying, Seriously she can only resist the Potter charm for a while, she's bound to give up soon,"
Lily resisted the urge to roll her eyes, but acted like she was all hopeful "You think?"
'Haha, James Potter having a chance with me? Never, I'd rather date a shoe' Lily thought amused
"Of course," Peter quipped "She hasn't shouted at you this year that much,"
'Only because, he hasn't been that annoying' Lily pondered
"Yes, you're right Wormtail!" Remus said giving an encouraging nudge in the ribs.
Lily just grinned.
'You people are almost amusing' She thought as she walked along.

James walked hand and hand with Gwen towards a blanket it were in front of the lake, near an old tree. On this blanket were a selection of food, crisps, chocolate, sandwiches e.g. Gwen sat down and James followed in suit.
"Lovely night isn't it?" Gwen asked, trying to start up a conversation between the pair.
James looked up to see a midnight blue sky with odd stars scattered in it and a half moon in the middle of it all. It truly were beautiful.
"Yeah, It's beautiful,"
"Not as beautiful as you," Gwen smiled, moving closer.
James smiled at him, but inside he were glaring at the blonde boy. He wanted to punch him or hex him but restrained himself to say "thank-you." He wanted to add a swear word at the end, but James didn't think Lily would be to pleased.

Four people hidden under the cloak stood watching like statues, not moving in fear of being caught. They was currently standing behind a tree about 3 metres away from them.
"He's cheesy," Sirius muttered
"I know," Remus cringed, this boy sure were cheesy, it was even making him cringe.
Lily sighed, she agreed, but it were one of the things that attracted her to him, she found his cheesiness sweet. He made her feel good about herself and who wouldn't like that?
She watched, as herself and Gwen talked. So far, James was doing an alright job, when he wasn't in classes of course, but still it somehow made Lily a tiny bit determined to walk in James's shoes a bit more and do it right, she wasn't going back to her real body until both of them understood each other anyway.

"Lily," Gwen paused, looking at her, "I know, We've only been dating for two weeks, but I really like you." He smiled.
James was unsure of what to say, but it turned out he didn't need to say a thing, as Gwen carried on. "I think, We should tell everyone, I mean our friends know, but" James opened his mouth, but Gwen's finger lay over his lips to shush her, Gwen wasn't finished yet. "I know, You're scared of what James might do but I can take any hex he chucks at me. Please?"
James resisted the urge to smirk 'Any hex I chuck at you huh?' James wanted to grab his wand and hex his right there, but James restrained himself and made a mental note, once back in his own body, hex him back to lala land. James noticed Gwen was still looking at him and waiting for an answer.
James looked around, he hadnt got Lily to quickly get an answer from, not that he could anyway, he decided just to say okay to the boy. It were probably what Lily would do anyway.
"Sure," James smiled hesitantly "James can be really horrible though, you've seen what he does to people," James shuddered just to add effect.
Gwen looked scared for a moment, but it soon faded. "I can take him,"
"You sure?"
"Yes,"

"Look, you've come up in conversation!" Sirius whispered
"So I have," Lily muttered back. She thought about what she would be doing if she was in James's position, would she say yes or no? The thing was she didn't know.
"Let's get closer!" Sirius grinned daringly, before Lily even had the chance to object, the Marauders were on the move.

James looked at Gwen, He felt his eyes upon him. Eying Lily's body. James wanted to punch him, How dare he?
'He is her boyfriend' A little voice inside James head mentioned. These voices, there were the many, one of each aspect of a personality. James heard the grass crunching, but put it down the wind.

The Marauders said nothing. They was to close, they was practically standing in front of them, the lake behind them. The Marauders smirked at each other watching this moment. All of them Half wondered what would happen next.
"mmm, Lily?" Gwen said getting even closer.
"Yes?" James managed to speak but Gwen didn't say a thing but James saw that Gwen was about to lean in...

Lily's eyes widened. Okay, she wasn't expecting that. Gwen was never that sort of type. All four Marauders stood there with their mouths gaped open.
"He's going to kiss her!" Peter shrieked waving his arms like a chicken.
"Shut up!" Sirius hissed stamping on Peter's foot
Gwen pulled away from James, much to his relief at the sounds of voices. Somebody had ruined the moment.
'Glad that didn't happen' James thought. He made a mental note to avoid Gwen at all costs. He didn't want to come close to that ever again.
"Who's there?" Gwen asked, confused, he could of swore he heared voices. He stood up, he was walking directly to the Marauders, if he carried on, he was surely going to bump into them. While Gwen wasn't looking, James wiped his mouth, Gwen had gotten so close that he could feel his breath on his face, he was thankfull to the person who had begun to talk or made the sound.
'This are only for Lily right now' James thought in a little huff.
"He's coming," Peter whimpered
"We're going in," was all Sirius said
"In where?" Peter asked
Before anybody could answer Lily felt herself being pulled backwardsand into the cold lake.
Gwen heard a splash, but couldn't see anything, he could of swore he saw a leg floating before falling into the lake. He rubbed his eyes, He must have been imagining it, he had to be, it just wasn't possible, what would a leg do without a body?
"Want to head back?" Gwen said, a little miffed, it had interrupted him, he was getting so close to kissing her!
"Um, sure." James answered, unsure of what had just gone on, but knew it had to have something do to with the Marauders. It always did and of course, he would have swore he heard their voices. It sounded a lot like them.
Gwen pulled James up and they headed back to the castle.
"We didn't get to eat your tuna Sandwiches you made," James sighed
Gwen turned a light shade of pink but said nothing. Soon they were far out of sight, away from the lake.

As soon as the two were far enough, four peoples heads could be seen floating in the lake.
"I almost died!" Sirius said, thank anyone that they decided to leave when they did, because Sirius and the others were dying without oxygen underneath the surface.
"I can't believe you pushed us in!" Remus grumbled, swimming to the side and pulling himself up to sit on the edge, his feet still dangling in the water.
"It had to be done," Sirius argued
"Could have given us a warning," Peter said
"If you had never spoken!" Sirius retorted swimming over and joining Remus. Peter and Lily soon followed.
All four boys stood on the grass, wet and shivering and probably developing a cold.
"Where's the cloak?" Lily said looking around.
"Must have dropped it," Remus said coming to a conclusion of the cloaks where abouts.
Sirius eyed Peter, all of a sudden, Peter was in the water. Sirius had pushed him in the lake. It was Sirius revenge for giving them away earlier.
"Don't come up, until you've got it!" Sirius shouted at the lake. Peter bobbed up for a second before dissapearing under the water.
"That was a little mean," Lily commented, "You should go and look for it as well, We were in there because of you!" Lily evilly smirked before pushing Sirius in the water.
"Don't come up, until you've got it!" Lily mimicking Sirius, only to receive an icy glare before he dived under.
"That was evil." Remus laughed
"You want to be pushed in?"
"No."
"Then shut up," Lily stuck out her tongue at him. "Say, I'm evil again and I'll push you in,"
"Oh really?" Remus challenged, unsure of whether his friend actually would, then again, his friend had just pushed Sirius in the lake.
"Yes," Lily went to push him in, but before Remus could fall in, he pulled Lily with him and they both hit the cold water once again.
