#Never Let Me Go# (Hiei\YYH\Sequel) Part 3

So you were just about to steal a license plate, no? ONWARD!!!
~QS~
At this point, it's 10:30p.m. You've collected everything except the kiwi. As of now, you're sitting in a tree flicking condoms at people below you. Hiei sweat drops and says, "I told you! That's not what they're for!"
"EEEW! It's all slimy! Why???"
Hiei turns red and mutters, "Kami-sama, don't let me have to explain this to her..."
"What are 'condoms' anyway?"
Hiei pulls an anime fall and yells, "YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!"
"Well...they didn't have these 200 years ago."
Hiei sighs and says, "It's to prevent pregnancy."
"Whaaaaat? How does it do that?"
Again...anime fall.
Hiei turns the box around and says, "Read the back and be enlightened..."
After reading the back and turning VERY red, you hand them to Hiei, wipe your hands on his arm and stammer, "L-Let's go get us a KIWI!!"
-_- Well, that was a disappointingly short intro. (Me: >.< CUT ME SOME SLACK! IT GET'S LONGER!!!)
Now this was going to be tricky because the only grocery store within walking distance was the Omizo Supermarket. You had to get the Kiwi without being shot by the remaining teams, which is difficult in a small store. The remaining teams were Kurama and Hitomi, You and Hiei, and Koenma and Botan (but barely). Hiei shot Yukina as she was walking into the store to get the condoms. He refused to submit his little sister to that. -_- (lol)
Anyway, you slink in, the cashiers all giving you two weird looks. Hiei sweat dropped and said, "We look just a little conspicuous."
"SHHH! Here come the Reaper and the Prince."
"Wait...the WHO?!"
"SHHH!"
He glares at you as you slide around the corner of the shelf and fire a round into Botan's chest plate. Koenma fires at you but Hiei gets him in the back as you sink into the shadows. You pull Hiei into the floor just as Kurama rounds the corner firing. He glares at you through the darkness and you smile innocently. "I couldn't let you get SHOT. Not by Kurama."
With that, you pull yourself out of the shadows next to the fruit stand just as Kurama picks up a kiwi. You smirk and yell, "OH NO YOU DONT!"
With that, you chuck a watermelon at him and he ducks, making it hit Hitomi square in the face! Kurama turns around to find his hand kiwi-less and you and Hiei dashing out of the store. You smirk and yell, "TO THE ONE-HOUR PHOTO!! Whatever that is..."
Hiei rolls his eyes and follows suit.
-_- Nope. Still too short. (Me: *glare* I'm WORKING ON IT!!!)
Now, you're hiding atop a building. Specifically, your old high school's roof. You lean against the railing and murmur, "Wow... It feels like I haven't been here in decades, but it it's only been two years."
"Hn."
Hiei was leaning against the same railing, but he was standing a good five feet away. You sigh and ask, "So is it something I did? I'm sorry if it's because I was calling you Hii-kun. I'll stop if it really bothers you THAT much."
"If you don't even get it then there's no point in explaining it."
You glare at him and stand up straight, facing him, "That's not true. I won't know what's wrong unless you tell me."
"Hn."
"You're not being fair!"
"Fair?! FAIR!?! You wanna talk about being 'fair', Onna? Okay, how about you getting sealed, never telling me about the things between you and that Michiru guy, and me having to find out from HIM!? What about you worrying everybody and then US finding out you were BRAIN DEAD!!? Then training for a YEAR just so we could enter another tournament and wish you BACK to normal, and you STILL DON'T WAKE UP!!!? Is THAT fair!?"
Tears sting at your eyes and you smile bitterly. "That's nice. Now, do you want to see that little rant from my point of view? How about this: I was sealed again because a man I thought I trusted accused me of nearly killing him and BLINDING his father. I never told you about Michiru because if you recall, when I was first unsealed I couldn't remember ANYTHING!! And then when I did, it wasn't really any of your business and I never thought I would see them again. So how do you think I felt when my ex-boyfriend shows up with an intent to KILL ME!!?? And I'm SORRY for worrying you all but I had NO control of what happened once I was sealed so to blame that on me is just stupid! And you trained for a year? I WAS TRAPPED IN OBLIVION WITH ONLY MY THOUGHTS OF WHETHER OR NOT I WAS GOING TO SURVIVE FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE TWO ETERNITIES!!! Don't you go telling ME whats fair!!!"
"Oh yes! POOR Kiyoko! Or should I call you Dusk? Either way it's not your real name. What do we really know about you anyway, huh Onna? For all I know, more of your psychotic enemies from your 'long forgotten past' are gonna show up and cause me more trouble!!!"
Those words hurt. You feel a few warm tears slide down your cheeks and you narrow your eyes at him. Clenching your fists, you say through grit teeth, "I don't care WHAT you call me! It's never consistent anyways! 'Onna', 'Kiyoko', 'Baka', 'Dusk', 'Hakumei'!"
[Yes??]
"SHUT UP!!" You clutch your head in anger and take a step back. You gaze across the rooftop at Hiei and say through your tears, Well......I'm terribly sorry for inconveniencing you. If it's THAT much of a bother to have me around, then I'll disappear."
With that, your eyes glow black and you sink into your shadow, disappearing from sight.
The last thing you see of Hiei is him running towards you.
~HIEI'S POV~
"ONNA WAIT!!"
You run towards her, to stop her. Before you even get there, she's gone. You punch roof in frustration and sit down. [Why am I such an idiot?]
Two hours later you walk calmly into Yusuke's apartment and see the others staring at you. You glare at them and storm over to your windowsill. They all stare at you, waiting for an explanation. When they get none, Kurama finally voices the group's concern. "Hiei, wheres Kiyoko?"
"Hn. It's none of my concern."
Kurama sighs and Hitomi growls, "You said something mean to her, didn't you!?"
Yusuke grabs you by your collar and yells, "WHAT ARE YOU, STUPID!?! THIS WHOLE THING WAS TO CELEBRATE HER REGAINING CONSCIOUSNESS!! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO REVIVED HER!! WHY CHASE HER AWAY?!!?"
You snap, an anime vein twitching at your temple, and yell, "BECAUSE SHE'S A USELESS BAKA!! SHE ACTS LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED AT ALL!! YOU REALLY THINK THAT SELFISH BRAT GIVES A DAMN WHAT YOU ALL THINK!!?"
Yusuke drops you and crosses his arms, "Here's a question for you: Since when you care?"
You stop cold. It's like your entire world freezes. Yukina's hand on your arm brings you back to reality and she says gently, "Hiei-san, I think Kiyoko-chan is acting like that because she's scared. We have no idea how she felt or thought when she was in a coma. I can only imagine how lonely that must be."
Botan nods and says, "That's right! And we all know that she probably missed YOU the most. And you can deny it all you want, but we know you missed her!"
Keiko sighs and mutters, "Why are boys so stupid? Look, Hiei, she just wants to have a good time. But she's NOT having a good time and it's YOUR FAULT. So what we're trying to say is..."
*everyone in unison* "GO AFTER HER, STUPID!!"
With that, you're promptly tossed out of the building and onto your ass. You sigh and get up, dusting yourself off. Walking off in no particular direction, you begin to think. [I know I was just pissed. She's so oblivious! It's annoying! I didn't mean half of that shit I said, but she got all upset anyway! AAAGH! Okay, if I were a baka onna, where would I go...?]
Suddenly, an idea strikes you and you take off at the speed of light!
DONE!!!! For now. ^_^
