Can't Have a Little Bit of Fun, Without a Little Bit of Fear Chapter Three: {The First Encounter}

Its been about a month since the incident with Kelsey. I think all of us mostly tried to forget about it, but the subject just kept on coming up everywhere. Everyone kept asking! Kelsey whered you get that mark from? Tabitha why are you so quiet lately? Alex I heard something bad happened at your house, what was it?! Kels! Tabitha! Alex! Sabrina! What happened?! It was so annoying!
Hey, Tabitha, Im having a sleep over tonight. You think you could make it? Alexs words rolled out of her like sand though someones fingers. It hit me like a ton of bricks.
UmmYeah, sure. I think I was about to run from her. I know shes my best friend but somehow I feel people watch me, and I think the others feel the same, but somehow I think Alex had to tell us something, maybe that she seen something. She has been acting stranger than usual, lately.
Hey, Kels! Wait Up! Alex screamed behind me.
Oh, hey Alex. Whats up? Kelsey said as if she had ran a marathon. She sounded exhausted, and she looked like she hadnt slept in days.
Yea, if you dont come, I wouldnt blame you, but Im having a sleepover and I wanted to know if you would come? Alex had a sincere voice, which Ive never heard before. I believe she did feel that much concern for her.
No, no, noIll come. I think we should all talk. At that moment, I knew things were going to change, no, everything had already changed. Things were going to get stranger than ever.
*Later That Night *
I knocked on Alexs door. I knocked so lightly, I dont even think they heard me, I dont even think that their dogs heard me! They hear everything. I think I was afraid to knock to hard, like I would awaken something, or like I would break the door down.
The door opened slowly. I was an intense moment, like something was going to be on the other side, but I knew better.
It was Alex; she was wearing her 69 eyes T-shirt like every Friday. Nothing has changed, obviously, well with her style anyways.
Hey, Alex, are Kelsey and Sabrina here yet? I already knew the answer, but I asked anyway.
No, not yet. You think theyll show up? She asked in a sad voice.
Yeah, why wouldnt they? To be honest, I wasnt sure at all.
We were waiting on Alexs front porch for about 10 minutes, when Sabrina was dropped of with Kelsey. I was guessing her grandmother couldnt drop her off. Even though she only lived a mile away, she still wouldnt take her anywhere. She has to get there all on her own, or she goes no where.
Hey, whats up, you guys? Alex said with a nervous smile.
Nothing much. Sorry we were late. We had to pick up Sabrina she didnt have a ride here. Kelsey stated.
Oh, thats ok. Lets go upstairs. We all followed Alexs lead, and marched up her steep stairs.
We sat on Alexs king size be for about 10 minutes before someone spoke.
Hey, have you guys been able to sleep good at night? Because, for some reason, I feel like people have been watching me. It feels like eyes are on my walls, and they stay open til the break of dawn. Kelsey said this with so much concern. It actually looked like she didnt understand what she was saying herself.

Yea, I have the same feeling! Sabrina shouted it just like as if they were thinking the exact same thing, which, Im pretty sure they were.
I have the same feeling, but my feeling is more like a cold breeze, with a yearning stare for something. It just rolled out of my mouth. It felt like I was Ms. Ziska, talking about vaginas in sex-ed.
Actually, I have the same feeling like Tabithas. I dont know why you two have different feelings then us. Alex said it like she was examining an artifact.
I felt the feeling while I was sitting in Alexs room. I didnt want to say anything; maybe they didnt feel anything. Maybe I was just hallucinating, or was I?
Do you feel something? Kelsey looked around like a frightened deer looking for the hunter.
Yes. Those were the only words that came out of my mouth, but they sounded as if I where ready to fight for my life. I was ready.
A bang came from Alexs balcony. Of course, Kelsey screamed at the top of her lungs, and I covered her mouth like we were hiding from something.
Alex turned her lights off, but I dont think that was going to help us, not at all. I heard a rattling at Alexs door.
Whos there? Alex asked with fright in her voice.
Its mom, me and your father are going to get something to eat. So, well be back in a couple of hours. If you need anything call Mike. Her mother couldnt have been anymore random.
Then it hit me, her parents are leaving. Were alone, what if someone was to get in, what if Mike couldnt help us?
We were pretty much dead.
After Alexs mom and dad left, we sat there and decided to watch some TV we watched Jackass repeats until midnight, and we still werent tired. So, Alex turned the TV off, and we all just sat there for about 5 minutes in silence.

Not even a second after the fifth minute, we heard the bang again. I think everyone but me, thought that like lights would keep our identity from what ever was lurking outside. We all stayed silent as we listened to the noises outside.
Roberto, Shut up. I cant believe you bit her. I mean, I know we all like them, but come on, couldnt you wait? The strange voice had a velvety texture to it. It sounded like raging water, but then gentle as a fresh stream.
I moved toward her balcony door to look outside. I saw, four figures standing together. I couldnt see the faces only the body shape, and they were sleek and had a little muscular to them, but not much, like those ugly body builders.
Tabitha! Get back here! Kelsey was trying to yell but whisper at the same time, but it was too late her big mouths already unveiled are awareness of the strangers.
Kelsey, shut the fuck up! I screamed at her even though we should have still kept quiet. I knew the strangers were aware of us, so it didnt really matter. We were screwed.
I heard the breaking of glass, then I noticed, one of the guys broke straight throw the glass and grabbed me by my shirt and yanked me out of the door window. I think my heart skipped a beat as I lied there trying to catch my breath of Alexs roof.
The tallest of the four, who pulled me though the window, picked me up by my neck and held me against the balcony door.
His face was so pale it almost looked clear. His eyes were a shade of green Ive never seen before. He was about four inches taller than I was and somehow I couldnt look away.
He just looked at me, not in a mean way like you would expect from someone who just pulled you out of a glass window. He showed compassion, lust, and yearning. For what, I dont know. Then, shock took over me at what I was seeing. He had blood red wings spreading from his back. I wasnt scared, I was just shocked.
Everything went black after I seen the full length of his wings. I couldnt keep myself up any longer, my body went lip and I heard a scream, then nothingJust the dark peaceful quietness of my mine. In a deep sleep.
