Turn Up The NOS ||two.five||

Top Notch Layouts Buenos tardes me amigos!So you know that "hiatus" I was taking? Well it was supposed to be taken so I could relax, however, it turns out I became sicker and even more utterly depressed. Groovy gravy, eh? Yeah, that's my trademarked saying these days. It's copyrighted too. Basically I looked and felt like death and decided maybe I would update before I was six feet down from above the ground in a pine box and decomposing from malaria or something... I'm so sorry but this is going to be

To pass the time, I took the letter from detective Tanner out of my pocket. It was no longer the pristine looking envelope it was earlier that morning. It had creases and wrinkles covering every inch of it. I held each side and rubbed it against the side of the desk in an attempt to flatten it out and prolong the event of opening it.
Mia and Cameron were still arguing as I walked back with the pictures and opened the letter. I skimmed it quickly looking for keywords like "charged with". I chuckled slightly when I read "Policeman's Ball" and folded the letter back up.
"Hey doughboys," Jay said as got out of Henry's car, a '66 vintage Dodge Charger in mint condition. The original burgundy paint and leather just made that car all the more jaw dropping worthy. If there were ever a car I'd want to have sex in, that would be one of them.
Henry stepped out of his car with two brown cardboard drink carriers filled with coffee from the dinner down the street.
"'Bout damn time you showed up," I said cynically. I took one of the coffees from the carriers while Henry sat down at the table. Jay scooted another chair in, and joined us looking particularly chipper.
"Well now that everyone's here I think we can seriously start talking about how we are going to pull this off." Mia said as she walked to the back of the auto shop. A few moments later she came back into sight, wheeling a white eraser board.
I scanned the faces of my friends looking for the emotions they honestly felt and not just what I wanted them to feel. Truth be told I would have loved to hear "I can't do this" I would be earnestly happy if they backed out. But what I saw was far from what I wanted to see. I saw supportive faces and meaningful glances of what I would dare to call admiration. Rather strange to admire someone who breaks the law, but in this world maybe not so much.
"So, I wrote down some notes about the parking garage that the Mustang is in," I said as I walked to the grimy engine oil splotched eraser board. It came as no surprise that like everything else in an auto garage it was greased with slick car oil.
I drew a diagram of the apartment complex on the board and spread out the pictures of entrances I had taken earlier along with the hastily written comments.
"What do ya think Jay?" I asked him while I taped the dry marker on the desk repetitively. Every part of me was praying that he would know what to do with the material I set before him.
"Truthfuly? I think you're an awful drawer," he said mockingly while rocking back and forth on the feet of his chair.
I couldn't help but sigh and roll my eyes. I started second guessing myself and grumbling in low tones. How in hells army were a pack of immature teenage baboons like ourselves supposed to accomplish such an outrageous task? Especially when such a baboon wasn't taking it very seriously.

Isn't this little white thing so annoying? >>>>

I cannot say how incredibly sorry I am for not posting since when? Like July?
Anyway, I am working on HtL and TUTN. I will post a longer chapter next time. I just wanted to prolong the car-jacking scene. =]

Thank you to everyone who has read/voted/commented/messaged.
I love you all.
