Okay, so basically this is how that evening with Eric went down: it sucked.
Apparently, Eric thought that I would be oh so delighted to see an opera.
Yeah, I don't think so.
I hated the stupid idea. Eric knew that I don't go for this sort of crap.
And the worst part?
He didn't even pay attention to me half the time. He was paying too much attention to that little slut the level below us who was wearing a much too small dress that showed a whooole lot of cleavage.
Someone needs to offer her some sandwiches.
I was currently in the passenger seat of Eric's Hummer on the way home. He was so dumb. Eric didn't even notice that I was NOT talking to him, NOT looking at him, and was generally pissed off.
What a catch, huh?
I would rather be with Pete right now.
No I wouldn't.
"We're back," said Eric cheerfully.
"About damn time," I mumbled. I unbuckled my seat belt and was about to get out.
"Woah, what's your problem, Amanda?" he ased. I was so used to be being called Amanda by him that I didn't even care anymore.
"Nothing Eric. I'm just tired, is all."
"Yeah, okay. Call me later," he said.

I woke up the next morning and relaized that I had to go to work. I groaned as I put my uniform on.
Occupation: the waitress at the local Denny's.
Honestly? I was not a people person. But I needed a job and this was close. And the job also required no college degree.

"Good morning, welcome to Denny's. My name's Manda and I will be your server today. Can I start you off with some drinks?" I asked the table of four.
They gave me their orders and I got the drinks.
"Okay, so I'll give you a few more minutes and I will take your orders." I smiled a fake smile.
I walked over to my next party and greeted them. Of course, I wasn't really paying attention like I was supposed to.
"Hi guys. My name's Manda and I'll be your server today. Can I start you off with-" I said. I looked at the table of 8 boys. "Oh dear lord."
Wanna guess who they were?
make a dirt dance floor again.
If you guessed that they were Linkin Park, Michael Jackson and Sam the Sombrero - then you would be incorrect.
The Fall Out Boy kids and Panic! At The Disco boys were there.
"Yes, Manda? What were you saying?" asked Jon with a snicker.
"Can I start you off with any drinks?" I asked through my teeth.
I swear, if they get me fired I will be so pissed.
