Mizu stared at the young artist oddly, he was usually so cocky and confident, but he for once was acting what would seem to be shy. Or at least his equivalent to shy. His gaze was directed to the floor and his cheeks happened to be a hardly noticeable pale shade of pink.
Cocking her head to the side, she thought of what she could do to snap him out of it. She'd hate to admit it, even though the way he was acting was-cough-cute, she preferred the over confident bastard she'd come to know and love. Mizu smirked as an idea bloomed into that devious little mind of hers.
While his attention was still diverted to the floor she leaned in real close and reach up to grab his pony tail. Once she had it in her grasp she tugged down sharply. Tugging out his hair tie in the process
"What the fu-" His face reddened considerably once he realized how close she was to his face and attempted to turn his head without bashing heads. Blond locks covering his embarrassed look. Now she was damn well confused, she was hoping he'd yell at her like he always did. Gripping his hair tie in her hand, she took a deep breath.
"Deidara-baka what's wrong with you?" she huffed. "You're acting like a school girl with a crush." She blinked when she caught the determined glint in his eye. He looked straight at her; Mizu couldn't help but notice his cheeks getting redder by the second.
"Will you...marry me?" As soon as those words left his mouth she swore her face was set on freaking fire. Noticing this and that she was practically frozen on the spot, a cocky smirk graced his features. Deciding to be a bit daring he lifted her chin up to face him and leaned in close.
"I'll take the frozen in awe and 'school girl blush' as a yes then?" She sputtered and spat out something akin to 'Over confident bastard', yet didnt deny that her answer would be indeed
