"I don't believe you!" Shannon screamed, lookin at William, " You are just standing there like nothing ever happened! Well news flash, something did happen. Maggie, your dumb ass girlfriend, just cursed off one of your best friends!"
William just stood there. Unsure of what to do next. Maggie was in line waiting to pay for her clothes with William's money. Then, William shook our of this trance. He walked over to Maggie and snatched the money out of her greedy hands and shoved it in his back pocket.
Shannon grabbed William's hand and dragged him out of the store. She knew exactly were Delilah would be. They both got in his car and Shannon drove to Glennview Park. It was were Delilah always went when she was upset. Shannon and William walked up to a small creek. They saw Delilah with her feet in the water.
Delilah turned her head and saw William standing there, Shannon was in the distance. Delilah began to get up. William ran over to her and sat her down.
"Listen Delilah, I am really sorry about today at the mall. I should have stuck up for you or said something."
"It's fine." she said
"No, it isn't okay. How can I make it up to you?" William asked
"Well, I do believe you owe me a dinner and movie." she said smiling
"Done, tomorrow at 7, movie than dinner."
"I can't wait." Delilah said and got up.
"Mike, Shannon! Would you two PLEASE stop kissing! It's going to make me sick." Delilah said as she sat on the couch at Shannon's house.
They both pulled away and stared at Delilah.
"what's up?" Mike asked
"Do you think I should trust William after what he did to me yesterday?" she asked
"I think you should. William is really a great guy." Mike explained, " Just give him some time."
