"Jaden - Can I have your Professional Opinion?"
Jaden looked up from his Comic Book to see Syrus holding a red bow-tie to his neck. Jaden blinked in confusion as his Little Friend looked at him Expectantly.
"Uh - I'm no Professional in Bow-Ties Sy'" Jaden grinned, setting down the book "What do you want to know?"
"Should I wear the Bow-Tie or not?" Syrus suddenly went back to a Mirror he had recently hung on the wall and began turning each way "I mean - I've seen Guys wear these things before- But whenever I wear it I look like-"
"That Weird Bug Duellist" Jaden laughed "Wasn't his name Weedle something?"
"Oh Nevermind!" Syrus threw the Bow-Tie over his shoulder and hung his head "I don't know what to wear to this Party thing!-"
"You can go Cas' Syrus" Chumley looked over the side of his Bed, a Sketchbook propped up against his knee "Lots of other People are"
"Yeah - The People who didn't get DATES!" Syrus wailed "I want to look nice - Or Jasmine might ditch me halfway through-"
"Oh Yeah - You're going with Jasmine!" Jaden grinned as Syrus began to go through his suitcase in search of a necktie
"Yeah Jaden - and you're going with Alexis!" Syrus pointed out dully "So why aren't you getting Changed?"
"Oh I've already got my Clothes ready" Jaden lay back on his pillow and resumed reading "I wrote home a while ago and got them to send me back Dad's old Suit"
"When you say Suit - Do you mean...?" Syrus suddenly looked down "A Tuxedo?"
"Yeah I think so" Jaden paused and grinned "You can check for yourself, it's hanging on the back of the Door"
Syrus turned and spotted what Jaden mentioned. It was a battered old Tuxedo that looked as though it might have once been jet black, but the years had not been kind. It was now discoloring into a dark shade of brown.
"It's horrible..." Syrus then looked down at his Black Pants and Jacket "But even its better then mine..."
"I'm just going in my Uniform" Chumley yawned, sketching away "It's not like I need to impress anyone"
"Is that why you didn't get a date?" Syrus shot back
"Well - I suppose"
"Or was it 'cause no one wanted to go with You?"
"Hey Shut up - I have a Girlfriend back home"
"Oh right - Sally? Oh no am I wrong? You tend to mix up her name with Adrianna"
"Guys stop Fighting!" Jaden spoke up quickly as Chumley had just laid down his notebook and was getting up "Just chill okay? Tonight's supposed to be fun!"
"What part of being paired up and made to Dance is fun...?" Chumley muttered, laying back down again

"Boss?~"
"Not now you Runt! I'm annoyed enough as it is..."
Chazz pulled on his Grey shirt as Ojama Yellow swirled above his head. Chazz originally wouldn't have cared what he wore to the Party - But even if he was going with a Girl he didn't particularly like, a Girl he did particularly like was going as well.
'Okay - all I have to do is drag Alexis away from Jaden' Chazz pulled on a new Black Trenchcoat 'I wish I knew where my Usual Trenchcoat is... Oh well, Just be Cool, Suave and-'
"Are you going with Saiko Boss?~" Chazz cringed as Ojama sat on his head "You've been Might-y quiet since Yesterday~"
"Don't you pay attention?" Chazz yelled angrily as Ojama Yellow dived off his head "I'm not going with Saiko, I'm going with Mindy - Even though I want to go with Alexis" Chazz looked satisfied as Ojama yellow trembled underneath his sheets "And I'd like you to know that I'm usually Quiet- Got it?"
"Stop being mad at me" Ojama Yellow pouted, poking its eyes over the edge of the Blanket "I'm just Curious about you is all~"
"Yeah? Well it's annoying" Chazz turned to the Mirror and then cleared his throat, putting on a Confident smirk "Hi Alexis~"
So Ojama Yellow watched in confusion as Chazz ran through the many situations of what could happen that night, and began to wonder whether his 'Boss' was really as normal as he had originally seemed to be.

'I can't believe - Me and Jaden! Jaden and myself... Jaden and 'I'...'
Alexis leaned close to the mirror as she held the Eyeliner Pencil steady. As she drew along the edge of her eyelid - eyes watering, she still couldn't help but smile.
Going to the Celebration with Jaden was a Dream come true, even if he believed it was just as friends. Who knows? Maybe she could make it out to be something more!
Alexis had chosen to wear a White Summer dress, but was wearing a Jacket over the top to dub it down. It was going to be cold that night, but she didn't care for the weather. She wanted to look nice.
"Alexis?"
Alexis pulled away from the mirror as she finished her eyes, turning to see Mindy, looking more Shy then she usually did. Alexis smiled warmly.
"Mindy you look Great!"
Mindy was wearing a White Tank top and her Obelisk Blue skirt. She seemed to have taken a long time on her hair - which was now in more elaborate curls then the usual low pony-tail.
"Thanks, You too" Mindy flushed "I mean, I'm not doing it for Chazz or anything - But I might meet someone at the Party" Her eyes gleamed as she slipped into a daydream "Ah~ Tonight's my Night - I know it is"
"Great" Alexis grinned "How's Jasmine going?"
"Oh well she's finished - She's helping Saiko out" Mindy explained quickly "Uh - I came here because she asked me if we could use your Hair Straightener? You know - Just to help Saiko along" Mindy grinned
"Hair Straighten Saiko's hair?" Alexis couldn't help but laugh "She won't sit still for that long! You know that!"
"Well, that's kind of why we all need to help out, I mean - It should be fun!" Mindy insisted "She's the kind of girl who's never dressed up in her Life"
'Not in a Dress anyhow' Alexis thought to herself
"Well sure" Alexis shrugged "I'm done using it anyway"
"Okay then!" Mindy grinned "I'll go get Jasmine then!"
She hurried from the room. Alexis sighed a little and returned to her mirror - Smiling slightly. She'd hadn't been excited like this for a long time. Especially since... he went missing...
Come to think of it, he probably would've loved this whole Party thing...
"Come on Saiko - It'll be fun!"
"But Saiko looks fine the way She is!"
"Oh no you don't - Come on, you can talk to Alexis while you're getting ready-"
"Awwww-"
You walked through the threshold of Alexis's room with Mindy and Jasmine - Looking up to see the Elegant Alexis. You suddenly started giggling.
"Alexis-Onee-San looks Purdy!~" You grinned through the giggles
"Uh - Thanks" Alexis couldn't exactly trust your judgement - seeing as you thought Puppies were Disgusting "Is.. that what you're wearing?"
"Yes!" You beamed - doing a twirl "Saiko picked it all out herself" You added hastily, grinning
Alexis fought the urge to cough and sweatdropped. Picked it all out of where was what she wanted to know.
You were wearing a Light Blue Blouse with a Draw String up the top that had been tied in a bow, and a short blue denim skirt. But the bad parts of the outfit was that you had decided to wear Jeans underneath and a pair of tacky, Reject store Glasses - with Chipped Yellow and Pink paint, which were perched above your head.
"We tried to talk her out of it" Jasmine said, smiling weakly "But she insisted that her Date would like it"
"Your Date?" Alexis blinked "Oh- The mysterious 'Patchy'" She raised an eyebrow "Do we get to meet him?"
"Most definately Yes" You beamed "What's wrong with Saiko's outfit?" You asked confused, tilting your head
"Uh, Nothing Saiko - just lose the Jeans and uh', I'll lend you some nice Shoes" Alexis added, eyeing your usual sturdy obelisk blue boots, which were encrusted with Mud from the dark ages.
"Okie-Doke, But Saiko's keeping the Glasses" You added, tugging them down onto your nose
"How tacky" Mindy muttered to Jasmine - but you didn't take notice
"Well let's straighten your Hair then!" Jasmine pulled you over to Alexis's mirror and sat you down "Now it's going to take a while-"
"But Saiko'll get bored!" You persisted, looking devastated
"Well - We'll be here to talk to-" Jasmine started, picking up the Hot Iron
"Nuu... Wait! Can Saiko sing?" Your eyes sparkled with anticipation "Saiko learned of a Really-Really Great song!"
"What's it called?" Alexis asked, sitting down on her bed with Mindy
"Saiko doesn't know-" You looked sad "But Saiko will sing it to you!" You beamed "Okay?"
"Alright" Jasmine giggled as she ran the Straightener down your Fringe
You took a deep breath and began to sing your 'Great' Song.
"Don't you Dare laugh when the Herse goes by~" Jasmine looked confused "Or you will be the next to Die, They wrap you up in a Big White Sheet-"
"Uh Saiko-" Mindy started as Jasmine continued straightening your hair, looking bewildered
"From the top of your head right down to your Feet~"
"Could you stop singing-?"
"They pack you up in a Big Black Box and Cover you up with Dirt and Rocks-"
"That's the most awful thing I've ever heard" Alexis looked aghast
"All goes well for about a Week, but then your Coffin begins to Leak" You sung happily, unaware of Mindy slowly going pale "The worms crawl in~"
"Saiko no!" Alexis started
"The Worms crawl out-"
"I'm gonna be Sick" Mindy muttered, putting a hand over her mouth
"The Worms play Pinochol on your Snout" You beamed "Then a Big Worm with Rolling Eyes, Crawls through your Stomach and out your Eyes-"
"I'm gonna go to the Bathroom-" Mindy managed to get out as she ran, Alexis rolled over laughing
"Your Stomach turns a slimey green- and Pus pours out like whipping Cream~"
"Alexis you take over" Jasmine put down the Straightener as she too, ran for the bathroom.
"You spread it out on a Slice of Bread - and that's what you eat when you are Dead!" You finished sweetly, tilting your head and grinning
There was silence for a moment as Alexis picked up the hair straightener. You looked up at her and beamed expectantly.
"Saiko...?" Alexis said smiling weakly
"Yes?"
"Don't ever Sing that again"
"Awww... Phooey"

"Calm down - Calm down - Calm down-"
"Syrus can you shut up a Second?" Chazz muttered dully as the Slifer Red jumped from foot to foot on the spot "Quit Worrying"
Chazz and Syrus were waiting on the balcony of Slifer Red dorm like Jasmine and Mindy had told them before. Alexis was supposed to be showing up with them too - Now she was going with Jaden.
"Unlike you Chazz - I have to worry!" Syrus squeaked, patting down his jacket "I've never been on a date in my Life - This is probably the closest I'm ever going to get!"
"I've never gone on a Date either Syrus - But if you keep worrying, Jasmine's going to leave you before she even gets here"
"Oh Ha Ha, Chazz! Have you gotten over the Fact Alexis is going with Jaden yet?"
"What?!"
"Hey Guys - I'm not late am I?"
The two turned around, Chazz's eye twitching. Jaden opened his arms wide and did a turn.
"Do I look like one of those Waiter Guys at Restaraunts or what?" Jaden laughed "Man - This is gonna be hard to dance in!"
"Real Classy Dork - The Fabric's fading" Chazz taunted, trying to pluck out the flaws to make himself feel better
"Ha Ha - Yeah it is" Jaden agreed, ruining Chazz's split second good mood "Why aren't you wearing your Trenchcoat Chazz?" He asked confused
"I couldn't find it" Chazz muttered, tugging at the Black Starched Coat he was wearing "This is my Back up, stiff as hell..."
"Where's Chumley gone?" Syrus asked confused, looking around for their Large friend "Isn't he with you Jay'?"
"Uh - No" Jaden scratched his head "He left a bit earlier, he said he'd meet us at the Beach"
"He's probably just filling up his Stomach" Syrus grinned
"With a Gut like that, he'll be out all night" Chazz muttered
"Hey Guys! We're not too late are we?"
The Three boys froze and looked at the Grassy ground where three Girls gazed up at them. Chazz's heart skipped a beat as he saw Alexis's flowy dress.
"Hi Alexis" Chazz blurted out before anyone could say anything
Alexis cast him a look of confusion and then turned her attention to Jaden. Ignoring the fact he hadn't done anything to his hair, and his awful fading Tuxedo - Alexis smiled warmly.
"Are we going Jaden?"
"Uh - Sure!" Jaden grinned, he bypassed his two friends and jumped the last few stairs "What kind of music do you think they'll be playing?"
"I don't know - I just hope it's not Country" Alexis poked her tongue out playfully "Bleugh!- I can't stand those Yodel kind of songs!"
"I don't really either, but I kind of like Banjo's!" Jaden added quickly with a Goofy smile
As the two laughed, Chazz walked down the stairs and looked blankly at Mindy. The two locked eyes for a moment and the looked away again, disappointed.
They did not want to dance together...
"You look Nice" Chazz said mechanically, looking at Alexis
"You too" Mindy replied simultaniously, staring at the Ground
Jasmine and Syrus on the other hand, were having an awkward moment. Syrus stared at his feet as Jasmine tried to reassure him.
"You look so Cute in that- uh- Suit" Jasmine grinned, Syrus raised his head a little "I like the Bow-Tie" She lied quickly
Syrus tweaked the little red tie and beamed as Jasmine smiled. He had indeed decided to wear the Bow-Tie - Thinking it would draw the attention away from his Suit.
But if it did anything, it intensified the burn under his collar that had happened from the iron.
"Where's Saiko?" Chazz asked slowly, trying to think of things to say to his 'Date'
"Oh, She's waiting in her room for her Date" Mindy said slowly "Do you ever know who she's going with...?"
"No" Chazz lied, unaware that his hand was balling up at his side
"She seemed pretty excited" Alexis laughed "We actually sat her down and straightened her hair- She sung the most god-awful song!"
"Don't bring that thing up again!" Mindy groaned, causing Jasmine to laugh weakly "I thought I was going to hurl it was so Gross!"
"We'll meet her at the Party?" Jaden asked Alexis
"We should" Alexis nodded "Along with the others - Where's Chumley?"
"Dunno" Jaden shrugged "Well let's get going!" He grinned, offering his arm to Alexis "Uh- Ma'am?" Jaden finished jokingly
"Please" Alexis rolled her eyes and grinned.
She took his arm all the same, Not noticing Chazz's face steam with anger as he watched, even with Mindy holding his own arm.

"Sai-ko - Sai-ko" You sung slowly "Say - Ko, Psy - Co~"
'Saiko wonders when Patchy will get here' You lay back on your bed and blew a strand of long pink hair out of your face 'Saiko hasn't been able to talk to him ALL day...'
"But he's gonna be Real-Real" You squealed aloud "And then Saiko can Dance with him, and Tackle him - and push him in the Ocean!"
There was a knock at the Door. You practically bounded off the Mattress and to the Door in a Single bound.
"Mmm-Ya?"
"I'm here to take Saiko the Magnificent to the Beach Party~" Crooned a familiar voice
"What's the Password?" You asked suspiciously
"You didn't give me one"
"Make one up"
"Uhh... Yoghurt?"
"Okay! Buzzing you in-" You pulled open the door and suddenly froze "Bzzz... Ah!"
Staring back was a Fifteen year old boy with Sparkling Green eyes. It was almost identical to your newly obtained 'The Scientist's Son' card, except - the natual hair was no spiked up with gel.
"You always told me you liked Orange Hair - and you also said you wanted Spikey hair" The boy pointed to his head grinning "So I assumed you'd like it~"
"So COOL!" You screamed, diving at him and tackling him to the Ground "Patchy looks so Different!" You grinned hugging him around the shoulders, tugging at his Spiked hair
"So does Saiko! Since when did Saiko have Straight hair?" Patchy grinned, jumping to his feet and pulling you up with him "Saiko looks like she's crawled right out of a Lake!"
The two of you were silent for a moment, then without warning - You both pointed fingers at each other's faces.
"LAKE MONSTER!"
The two of you screamed it at once - Collapsing to the ground in a fit of laughter. When you stopped laughing, You finally looked at what Patchy had chosen to dress in.
"Black and Purple-" You said aloud, you tugged at Patchy's Grey Trenchcoat "But isn't this...?"
"Big Brother Chazz's Trenchcoat?" Patchy grinned again, pulling it around him "Well - I like his Coat - So I thought I'd borrow it!"
"Patchy looks great!" You beamed "Saiko dressed herself, with help from Alexis-Onee-San" You looked down at your attire "It's good huh?" You grinned up at him
"Bloody Brilliant" Patchy grinned too "But we better get going! Or we'll have to Gatecrash~"
"Saiko'll race you!"
"Patchy'll win!"
"Not likely!"
You suddenly burst into a run, running down the hallway at full speed. With a smirk - Patchwork jumped at the wall and practically bounced up the corridor until he was in line with you.
"Winner gets Red Drink!" You turned as Patchwork grinned
"You're going down!" Patchwork teased, running ahead of you
"Hey no fair! You're using Monster powers!-"
Patchwork just laughed as you ran down the stairs. You were losing by a few metres - But Patchy was just too fast. As the two of you burst into another corridor- Patchwork grinned back at you.
"You're not gonna beat me~"
"Oh yeah-yeah?" Your eyes glinted with an evil plan "Just - WATCH!"
Without warning, You dived sideways- right out of an open window. Patchwork gave a shout of surprise and ran to the window sil, leaning out to see where you were.
"Saiko?! What did you do that for?!"
There was no answer... But then-
"So Saiko'll win!!"
A pink streak shot across the field outside from some bushes under the window. Patchwork gaped as your laughter rang out in the cool afternoon air.
"YOU CHEAT!"
"Catch Saiko if you Can!!~" You teased loudly, waving at the window as you ran for the beach, clutching your glasses with your hand
"Oh I will" Patchwork grinned rolling out of the window and landing on his feet on the ground "You can count on it!"
Patchwork shot off after you, running at what seemed to rival Mach 1. You winced as he drew with you.
"Saiko still could win-" You warned, running as fast as you could, the beach was starting to come into view
"Oh she could~" Patchy teased "But I'm not going to let her!"
Before you could react, Patchy swooped down and scooped you up, carrying you across his arms as he continued running at top speed. You gaped at him as the scenery flashed past.
"Patchy's a Cheat!" You mumbled, a look of annoyance on your face
"No one said Patchy played fair" He winked at you and poked his tongue out tauntingly
Your look of annoyance was quickly replaced with a goofy grin. Tonight was already turning out to be the Best Night ever.

"I still can't see Arana" Chazz squinted through the crowd, it was getting darker and harder to see "Or Huffington, or even Misawa"
"Don't forget Zane" Jasmine spoke up, looking around on her tip toes - not noticing Syrus frown beside her
Alexis sighed and leant back on the side of the Beach Cafe railing. The Beach was still filling up with Students - and with everyone in out of Uniform, it was hard to tell who was who.
"Saiko isn't here yet either" Alexis said slowly, Jaden looked up from a Glass of Soda he had gotten "Think her Date stood her up?"
"Dunno" Jaden shrugged "Saiko would be here by now if he was late"
"She'll turn up" Chazz rolled his eyes at the Couple, making them turn around in surprise "She'll probably come cartwheeling in, laughing as loud as she possibly-"
Suddenly a Squeal rang through the air. Chazz stopped talking and looked around confused as Mindy looked up and stared in shock.
"Heads up!"
Chazz was knocked to the sandy ground as something fell from the sky onto his back. Chazz groaned wearily and looked up slightly.
"Hey Mate" A boy with Sparkling green eyes grinned at him "Sorry about that"
"Get off me" Chazz growled venomously, as the Boy stood up - Brushing his Orange spiked hair out of his eyes "Who the hell do you think-?!"
"Hmm... Where'd she go?" The boy pondered aloud, looking each and everyway - ignoring Chazz as he fumed
"BANZAI!"
For the second time, Chazz collided into Mindy as something shoved him out of the way and tackled the Orange haired boy. As the Stars flashed past his eyes - Chazz shook his head and focused his eyes.
"Saiko?"
"Hya~" You hugged Patchy close and nuzzled him in the cheek "Saiko got you Good Patchy~"
"Like Hell you did" Patchy teased, poking you in the nose "Call that a Banzai? More like a Bonsai Tree"
"That doesn't make sense-i-na!"
"You know it does~"
As the two continued laughing and joking around, the group watched on in confusion. Chazz gaped, unaware of what to say. This guy... This Teenage Guy was... Patchwork Phantom?! The Guy who shared Saiko's soul?!
"Wow Saiko - I'm impressed!" Mindy's eyes flashed with hearts "Your Date is cute- I mean Cool!"
"Cool with a Capital K" Patchwork grinned, his strangely perfect teeth shining as Mindy and Jasmine pushed aside their dates to get a better look at him
"I've never seen you around School before- Where've you been?"
"Hanging around in the Roofbeams and Scaring Girls in their Locker Rooms" Patchwork winked, unaware of Jasmine and Mindy's looks turning to ones of adoration "Now if you don't mind - Saiko and I have a lot of Partying to do~" He turned to you and grinned, slinking an arm around your shoulder "Isn't that Right Psycho?~"
"Yup!" You grinned, you waved a little at the bewildered group "Saiko'll see you all later!"
In a blink of an eye, the two of you disappeared. Mindy gave a daydream sigh and leant against Jasmine.
"Did you see that? He winked at me~" Mindy sighed happily
"He was winking at me!" Jasmine shot back quickly - Hearts in her eyes "Why'd he go with Saiko...?"
"Let's see if we can hang out with them-" Mindy suddenly beamed "Uh - Patchy!" She called out, running after the duo
"Wait up!" Jasmine laughed, hurrying after her
As the two girls ran away, both Chazz and Syrus blinked for a moment before realising that they had both just been ditched.
"Hey Wait- Jasmine!" Syrus called out frantically "Wait!-"
"Let it go" Chazz muttered "She only went out with you because Zane turned her down anyway"
"Yeah?" Syrus pouted "Well maybe I didn't care why she asked me out! I just wanted a date"
"Lot of good that did you" Chazz smirked, Syrus's eyes burned with hate
"Where's Chumley...?" Syrus asked again, wanting something to distract him
"Well usually he's easy to spot..." Jaden suddenly beamed "Hey! There he is- With...?"
At this one word - Everyone spun around to see what Jaden was seeing.
He wasn't joking.
There was Chumley, laughing with...
"Mystra?" Alexis wrinkled her nose "I did not see that one coming!"
"Won't Sally be upset" Syrus whispered to Jaden with a grin
"I thought it was Adrianna?" Jaden sweatdropped as Alexis continued to stare on in shock.
"Mystra and Chumley?" Alexis repeated dumbstruck "She's so stupid! I mean, I know it's Chumley - But even he can do better than-"
"Oh let him have fun" Syrus sweatdropped "It's about time he got a Girlfriend"
"Just 'cause they're going to the Dance together doesn't mean that they're going out does it?" Jaden asked frantically, not realising Alexis go red
"I suppose not..." Syrus mumbled "Hey Chazz-" He turned around "Uh... Chazz?"
But the Black haired shadow was gone. The three friends looked around, but there was no sign of Chazz Princeton.
"I wonder where he went...?" Syrus blinked

'This is so freaking stupid... I don't have a Date, Alexis is with Jaden - Even Chumley Fattington has a date!'
Chazz could feel the sand somehow filtering into his shoes. It wasn't helping his already sour mood. The music was playing dimly in the background as he walked away from the large crowd on the beach and walked near the pier nearby the lighthouse.
'What a stupid celebration' Chazz thought angrily as he pulled off his shoe, emptying out the sand into the ocean 'Of course, no one cares that I'm having a bad time-'
"You know, I usually don't go to these things..."
"Me either - I don't do very well with large celebrations..."
Chazz froze, turning around. Two figures were walking down the pier, side by side. As he turned around, he recognised the female voice.
'Arana...?'
"Well, I'm keeping you company"
'-and Zane...?' Chazz blinked, eyes suddenly widening 'THEY'RE DATES?!'
"Hey!" Chazz shouted suddenly, causing Zane to fling an arm over Arana "Fancy seeing you two here!"
Zane's shoulder's relaxed as Arana looked pleasantly surprised. Chazz pulled on his shoe, walking over to them.
"Didn't expect you guys to be coming" Chazz said simply, folding his arms "Didn't think you were exactly Party people"
"Neither are you dear Chazz" Arana smirked. Chazz was glad it was dark, because he went red at this
"Didn't Mindy say she was going with you?" Zane asked, not sounding interested at all - rather annoyed at the interruption
"She decided that Saiko's date needed more attention" Chazz muttered coldly
"Ah" Arana shook her head "Tough luck"
"Thanks" Chazz said bitterly "I wanted to go with... someone else" His eyes glanced at Zane, deciding not to say Alexis "But they already promised someone else"
"Why don't you just ask Saiko, she'll dance with you if you want" Arana said simply as she and Zane continued walking
"Saiko?" Chazz wanted to put on a repulsed look and pretend to gag, but guilt inside told him not to "Uh... maybe not..."
"Or just hang around doing nothing" Zane smiled "It's your life"
"See you" Arana waved as they disappeared into the beach.
Chazz stood there on the docks for a few minutes, staring down at the beach at the partying Duel Academy students.

"Hey Chazz-za, How's it hanging?"
A pair of hands shot out from behind him, pulling him backwards. Chazz shouted furiously as two green eyes pierced the darkness.
"Whoah, Shhhhhh~" Chazz recognised the Teenage Patchwork "Just checking up on you Kid'-"
"Kid?!" Chazz asked furiously "I'm as old as you are!"
"Nah, I'm just masquerading as a Fifteen year old" Patchwork let Chazz go, who began to massage his throat "What's up? Don't like Parties - Big Brother~" Patchwork teased
"Not particularly..." Chazz growled "And... don't call me that"
"Call you what?" Patchwork asked, cocking an eyebrow
"Big Brother!" Chazz said furiously "I'm not your Big Brother!"
"You're Saiko's Big Brother" Patchwork said innocently, "So - I'm half of Saiko's soul, so you're my Big Brother too"
"Well maybe I don't want to be Saiko's Big Brother either" Chazz muttered annoyed
"Now I know you're lying" Chazz's head snapped up in fury as Patchwork examined his fingernails "You're just insecure mate - You're always gonna be our Big Brother, like it or-"
"Is there any reason you're talking to me?!" Chazz yelled angrily
"Hm?" Patchwork smiled evily "Ah yes - Well" He put on a false innocent look "I just saw a certain Alexis dancing all by herself~"
All the fury was swept from Chazz's heart. Excitement flooded his veins as he glanced at the beach below.
"She is?" Chazz asked eagerly
"Who is?" Patchwork answered suspiciously
"Alexis!"
"What Alexis?"
"You're really annoying - You know that?" Chazz growled as he went to walk away.
Before he could get out of arm's reach of the strange boy, Patchwork's hand snatched his collar and tugged him back. Chazz found himself nose to nose with him - staring into his violent, green eyes.
"One more thing~" Patchwork whispered, eye's gleaming yellow "You're stuck being our Big Brother - Whether you like. it. or. not." Patchwork hissed the words through his teeth "Saiko might like you a lot, but I can change my mind~"
A chill went down Chazz's spine as Patchwork let go of him. Chazz ran his hands over his roughed throat and stared at Patchwork's sleeves.
"You're... You're..." Chazz was on the verge of saying 'Crazy' - when he realised something "... You're wearing my trenchcoat aren't you?!"
"Whoops - I've got to be somewhere~" Patchwork sang as he jumped over the Pier and hit the sand running.
"GET BACK HERE YOU DIRTY THIEF!"

"- I can't believe it!"
"No way! Are you serious?!"
"What are you two talking about?"
Mindy and Jasmine, who were holding each other's hands as they jumped up in down in excitement - Turned to see Alexis raising an eyebrow.
"Haven't you heard?" Mindy asked, eyes shining with eagerness "Chancellor Shepard hired a Band!" She squealed and danced around Jasmine "He got Trap Jammers! Here! Ahhhh~"
"Trap Jammers?" Alexis asked, sweatdropping "I don't think I've heard of them..."
"Who cares?!" Jasmine squealed "They're setting up the stage near the Beach House, they've cut it off so no one can go near there until they're ready~"
"Oh my God - Wouldn't it be so cool if we got to talk to them later?!" Mindy asked Jasmine frantically "It'd be like those Modern Fairytales-"
Alexis fought back a laugh as her two friends babbled back and forth excitedly. Jaden and Syrus had both found Bastion and, despite how Alexis didn't mind Bastion - she didn't want to talk about Duel Monsters tonight.
However, she wasn't particularly fussed on talking about Music either.
"Hey 'Lex?" Mindy suddenly looked over at her "Have you seen that Patrick anywhere?"
"... Who?" Alexis looked baffled "Patrick?"
"That Guy Saiko was with! We were following them, and then they both just disappeared!" Jasmine explained "She calls him Patchy, so I guess his name is Patrick"
"Not the most dreamy of names..." Mindy mumbled, shaking her head "But-" Her eyes shone again with a new light "He's so... so..."
"Different...?" Alexis asked weakly
"Yeah!" Mindy sighed dreamily "I don't think I've met anyone like him before!"
'I think I have...' Alexis thought, laughing as she thought of Saiko
"Alexis-Onee-San!~"
Alexis jolted forwards, startled. A pair of arms wrapped around her from behind and pulled her backwards.
"Hey Saiko..." Alexis laughed, feeling embarassed
"Saiko scare ya?" You beamed eagerly, poking Alexis in the cheek
"Not really" Alexis said weakly "Where's your date gone?"
"Un?" You tilted your head "Patchy said he'd be right back, and when he did - I had to be ready to run!" You added brightly, not realising Alexis's completely shocked look
"Run?"
Slowly, in the midst of all the chatter and talking amongst the crowd, a small cry could be heard.
"GIVE BACK MY COAT!"
"No way Chazz-ay~"
There was a scream from a girl as Patchwork jumped over her head, doing a tumble as he landed on the ground. Springing to his feet, he held out his right hand, standing by your lefthand side as if he didn't just pull a stunt most people at age fifteen couldn't pull off.
"Like to dance my dear Psycho?" He said in a fake english accent
"Saiko would be delighted to dance~" You said happily, holding his hand
"What are you two-?" Alexis began, knowing full well that they were not about to start dancing
In sinc with the other, the two of you took a step backwards, and - ubruptly - jumped over the surrounding crowd, disappearing to the other side. Jasmine and Mindy's eyes twinkled with affection.
"He is so athletic!" Mindy squealed into her fists
"GET BACK HERE-"
Out of nowhere, Chazz smashed into Alexis - knocking her onto the sand. Groaning, he rubbed his head slowly.
"That stinking thief..." He muttered angrily, sitting up "When I get a hold of that-"
Chazz looked down, suddenly feeling very aware that he was sitting on someone.
"Uh..." Chazz's face went deep red "A-Alexis-"
"Get off me-" Alexis managed to get out, eyes burning with fury "GET. OFF-"
"I'm sorry!-" Chazz cried frantically, but Alexis had already shoved him off and was brushing herself down, her summer dress covered with sand
"The nerve-" Alexis muttered, looking around, ignoring the babbling Chazz on the ground "Where's Jaden?"
"I think he's by the Fish and Chip stand-" Jasmine said slowly
Alexis was already storming away, leaving her two friends and blubbering admirer behind.
"Chazz, are you okay?" Mindy asked, looking a little worried
"I'm fine" Chazz sighed, looking bitter, looking around at the surrounding party-goers, all chattering away happily "Mindy - You're not going to get offended if I don't dance with you, right?" Chazz asked dully
"No" Mindy shook her head "I've already got my sights on someone for a dance-"
"He won't dance with you" Chazz said suddenly, Mindy and Jasmine pausing "He only likes Saiko"
"... How do you know...?" Mindy frowned "Are they going out?!" She suddenly yelped, looking frantic
"They might as well be" Chazz shrugged. He didn't know why - but his tone was bitter "So don't waste your time... Try Bastion - I think he doesn't have a partner..."
Chazz walked away, leaving the two - rather heartbroken girls standing in the crowd.
'Then again, now I don't either...' Chazz thought dully
