I have no clue who's going to be my OC's love interest. It's either Kazu [cause he's so awesome], Ikki [also awesome], and Akito/Agito [who doesn't love them].
Choose Kazu, you fool! He's awesome.
Pfft. Ikki is even awesomer.
Blasphemy! Agito and Akito all the way.
Even though it was the afternoon the sky was already beggining to darken. Dark clouds loomed over the school. It was perfectly sunny in the morning, but the weather changes. My eyes scanned the outside environment for something, but nothing. I rested my chin on the palm of my hand and sighed. I guess I won't be able to see them today.
It's not that like I don't like rain. The rain just ruins the sunniest of days sometimes. But what I like most about the rain is when it stops it leaves a beautiful scenery when the sun comes out.
"Hey, Rei," a girl sitting in the desk beside me called, "I heard you were moving to a different classroom."
"Is it true?" another girl inquired, taking the seat that was behind me.
I looked at them through the corner of my eye and answered, "Yeah. Why?"
"Why didn't you tell us?" a boy questioned taking the seat infront of me. He sat on the chair backwards so it would be easier to talk to us. I did the same, but sat sideways on my seat.
"Didn't really seem important. It's not a big deal." I replied with no interest in the conversation. "We'll still see each other. I'll just be in another class."
"It is so a big deal! We won't be able to see your smiling face during class anymore!" the girl behind wheeped behind me, suddenly springing from her seat and hugging me tightly from behind.
"Uh, Kei," I said politely, "you mind not hugging me?"
"Yes."
"How come I didn't get a hug when I was in a different class last year?" Kyoko questioned with a bit of annoyance in her voice. "Kei will you quit fake crying! It's getting on my nerves."
"That's why. You're mean." she said bluntly. She released me from her death hug and sat back down.
"Forget you..." Kyoko mumbled with her arms crossed.
"What's wrong with you, Rei? Your not acting like yourself today." the guy, Akiyoshi, asked.
"I'm just out of it today." I yawned looking out the window, then standing up. "We better not waste our whole lunch period talking or we might be starving till school is over."
"I agree!" Kei exclaimed, punching her fist in the air.
"I brought my own bento box!" Akiyoshi informed grabbing his bento box.
"Me too. High five!" Kyoko grinned excitedly as they gave each other high fives. Sometimes they were such dorks.
"What do you want from the cafeteria, Rei?" Kei asked, suddenly with a notepad and a pencil.
"It's alright. I'll go with you." I nervously laughed, when she stood up also. Sometimes it felt like Kei was my servant or something. We both left the classroom talking about what ever came to mind.
Go -insert band name-!
^ What?
School had ended three hours ago and I was currently hanging out with my other group of friends. The others weren't here because they still needed to do their homework. The five of us usually hang out after school for thirty minutes or so to just hang out or do our homework. Me, being the smartest out of the four of us, finished everything in fifteen minutes. They were at their house still working on it. You could say I was a nerd, a cool nerd. I was actually a little popular, but not a whole lot. With just one look at me you would probably think I was stuck-up.
We were all at the park right now talking. Well, gossiping. The rain had stopped an hour after school had ended. If we wanted to sit down, we had to use our jackets to cover our bottoms.
"Did you hear about what happened to him?"
"Yeah!"
"He's not so tough now."
"I heard he pissed his pants."
"He's a wuss."
One of them seemed to notice that I hadn't contributed to the conversation. Something must be wrong with me today if I wasn't talking.
"What's wrong with you Rei-chan?" the girl asked. "You're so quiet today. Why aren't you talking?"
"I have nothing to say." I told her with my eyes closed. "I have no right to judge someone based on gossip that could or may not be true. You probably don't even have the facts right."
"We do too. We have a friend in the same class as Babyface. She told us what happened." she retorted with an angry expression. She crossed her arms and started leaning on a nearby tree. She checked if the tree was wet before leaning on it. The others were still having their conversation.
"Like I care." I replied crossing my arms just like her. "I hate gossip."
She continued glaring at, and I sent her the same glare. I can anger her easily. She then flashed a smile at me. "You're starting to act like yourself now."
"Weirdo." I muttered under my breath. She always did that. If anyone was in an argument with her she'd suddenly smile at them at the very end. Even if it is a serious argument.
Waving good-bye to each other, all of them sped off but me. I wanted to be alone in the park for a few minutes. The clouds started to finally move away from the sun, not blocking the rays of sun shine from the trees. From the corner of my eye I saw a blue and yellow butterfly rest on a damp flower. I bit back my lip so I couldn't smile, but it didn't work.
I absolutely love butterflies.
My smile faded when the two butterflies fluttered away for some reason. I closed my left eye when a rain drop fell right on my cheek. The sky started to go dark once again.
"Oh well. Yoko will get p*ssed if I'm late again anyway." I whispered to myself, strapping on my Air Trecks, or ATs as most people call them. Riding on Air Trecks make you feel like you can fly. That's every humans dream, to fly.
The feeling was incredible. The wind blowing in my face, feeling I could reach the clouds - I loved it. When ever I strap on my ATs I try to savor every minute of it like it was my last. You never know, it could be. They can break one day or get lost another.
I jumped onto a medium sized building, jumped off it and onto a small convience store, and then jumped in front of the apartment building across the store. As I silently skated into the building, and old couple came out holding hands. Cute. But when the old woman glanced at me, she tightened her grip. I may have a mean face but it doesn't mean I'm a trouble maker.
'Do all old people think that kids are trouble makers, or is ir just me?' I thought ignoring the look the old woman had sent me thinking I wasn't looking.
The elevator doors opened letting out a couple of more people out and in. I stepped in after a business man rudely pushed his way in front of me. He needs to learn his manners. I'm fourteen and I actually use my manners.
When the elevator doors opened once again, the man was going to push me out of the way, but before he could I pushed him before he could push me. It's his fault. "Do on to other what you want others to do to you" by some dude. Yeah, I don't know how the saying goes.
It was surprisingly quiet on the third floor today since me and my sister live on the floor where all the noisy kids are. Even when I unlocked the door it felt like someone put my keyhole on stereo.
"Hello? Are you here Yoko?" I called looking from left to right. Since there was no answer I assumed she was gone. That was new. She was always here before me.
I took of my ATs, settled them on the couch, then turned on the TV and adjusted the volume till it was just background noise. Television really wasn't one of the things I enjoyed. I hardly even watched it. The only reason I ever had it on was because it made me feel like someone else was in the house besides my sister. My dad was such a couch potato.
"I'm freakin' thirsty." I whined. "Wonder if she's been to the store yet."
It only took me a few steps before I reached the kitchen. The apartment wasn't really that great. The kitchen, living room, and dining room was all in the same room. There was just a counter that divided the kithen from the table and living room. There was only two more rooms. My room and the restroom. My sister Yoko had to sleep on the couch. I've tried to give her my room, but she had always refused so I just gave up.
After I grabbed a water bottle from the refridgerator, something small and white caught my eye on the counter. I grabbed the note with one swift movement. It was obviously from my sister since she had child-like handwriting.
You won't believe it Rei,chan! I just got a promotion! I can't believe it! I'm so excited! Soon I'll be able to aford that house we both saw last year. I'll probably be home late from now on.
P.S. You better have gotten home on time. I have a video camera in the room so I'll know if you got home late.
------------------------------------ Love Yoko

In the bottom right corner of the letter was a little drawing of herself working in chibi form. It was actually cute drawing. I've always envied her drawings.
Wait. Video camera? Finding the video camera didn't take as much effort as I though it would. It wasn't well hidden. It was "covered" by some books by the TV. She was gifted with beauty, but not with smarts.
I didn't feel like dealing with the camera so I just grabbed my ATs and walked to my room. My room was small, and I didn't like feeling cluttered so there isn't a lot of stuff in my room. There's only a bed, a dresser, my closet, a stereo, and my own TV. My dad had given me the TV and stereo for my birthday. Even though I had found out how he had obtained them I couldn't bring myself to throw them away.
'Damn, I forgot to turn off the television. I better turn it off or the electricity will cost a lot.' I thought throwing my stuff on the bed.
After I turnd off the TV, I grabbed a shoe box from my closet, turned on the stereo, and sat down on my bed. Grabbing a screw driver from the box, I moved the curtains from my window letting in the moon light. One of the wheels from my ATs were loose. When the job was done I simply stared at my Air Trecks. They were plain white and blue ATs. Absolutely plain.
A big sigh excaped my lips as I fell on my back with my left arm out stretched and my right arm over my forhead. The AT slipped from my hand and fell with "thud" on the floor. How much more money did I need to finally add stuff to my ATs? I don't have money I can spend just like that like other people.
I had to get a job so I could buy my own Air Trecks, wheels, screw drivers, etc.. I got a job at an AT store so that maybe I could get a discount. Yoko got mad at me when she found out I used my money to buy something I didn't even need when I could've bought something we did need.
"You're a fucking stupid kid. You don't know any better."
She was already p.issed that day so she didn't really mean to get angry, but that comment really pushed me over the edge. She wasn't the only one who was p.issed. Punching her in the stomach wasn't the way to shut her up. We didn't talk to each other for weeks. I had to show her I could be responsible before she would talk to me.
'I wonder what the new class I'll be in now will be like?' I thought randomly. 'I bet it'll be better than my last class, but I'll definately miss Kei, Kyoko, and Akiyoshi.' My yawn interrupted my thought. Sleep now. School later. Then I dozed off.
Took me all I had just to finish this. =[
