For my life story I always thought it would have my name, birthplace and date, and maybe a couple facts about what I did. Mostly just the simple stuff grew up, went to school, got married, had children, became the soccer mom, etc. Then in my later years I did something unbelievable like fly a plane at the age of 90, which would be the cause of my death.
Then I thought what's so fun about becoming the first 90-year-old pilot who crashed on her way to Australia. I wanted to make my life interesting...I wanted to have a story that everyone would be drawn into and read because they wanted to know what happened in the end. Well so much for that idea. I dreamed about doing something outrageous, spontaneous in my youthful stage but nothing ever came to mind.
I was that kid in the back of the classroom who wanted to be different. I was the one in the back of the classroom who day dreamed everyday about something extraordinary happening...like maybe my favorite game character Link from Zelda would suddenly teleport right into the cafeteria and call out my name. Of course you can think about your true love living in your closet, but did those things ever happened...Never.
Life as I knew it was boring. I was growing up like it said in my little autobiography, but I grew up the odd kid. I had my own style and my own friends. Everyone knew me though because we all grew up from the same kindergarten, but all of them didn't really like me for who I was. I couldn't really blame them. I didn't want to hang out with anyone and instead liked being cooked up in my room day dreaming away about some wonderful man taking me away from this dreadful world.
That's pretty much how my life was for my first sixteen years. Sure I got my license and enjoyed the life of being free, but it was still the same soccer mom beginning. Little did I know that my life was going to take a totally different turn. It all started the day I turned seventeen.
I just had to be born in January a season for icy roads, and treacherous ice storms. It was just on that day my 17th birthday that my mom got in a car crash on her way home to wish me a happy birthday. My father got the call when I was blowing out the candles wishing for the same fairy tale life that I wished for every time, but I knew I should have been wishing for my mom to come home. Instead I wished for a different life and it was granted to me. That little car accident changed my entire life. Sure I was still that same 'different' kid, but away from school my life became hell. My father became an alcoholic the same old story. I never had any trouble with him beating me or abusing me, but I had to learn to live by myself. I usually was the one who put him to bed and cleaned up all the beer bottles but I got use to it. Time went by though and my dad found other ways of curing his pain. He found the blissful thing called drugs. Drugs in my sense were even worse and the drugs started to bring different people to the house. They were the 'different' ones in their schools or just the odd ones in general so they were the types of people that I became fast friends with.
I even became fast friends with a certain kid named Taylor Cunningham whose mother was a frequent visitor over at my house. He was a tall kid with long messed up brown hair. He had a pair of beautiful baby blue eyes that were always dilated. Of course he was another drug addict and I even became best friends with him. We did mostly everything together. Stole beer from my Dad to get drunk on. Get weed from anonymous people to get high on. That's how my life went down hill.
I no longer daydreamed about a fanciful life, because when you were high and in 'supposed' love with your best friend your life became a fantasy. Everyday didn't even seem real, and most of my days I didn't even remember. Well let's move on from dreadful beginnings, and move on to 'that day'.
Ever since my 17th birthday I hated the next time I would become just one year older. It was January 15th again. The day I was born. The day my mother died. And the day my life changed for the second time. I turned eighteen that day, and just like Taylor promised he took me out so I could get so wasted that the day would seem like a complete and total blur.
That day after school, and indeed I still went to school, most of the time high though. But anyway after school that day Taylor picked me up in his red pickup truck, and the two of us headed out.
"Hey Sam, can I at least wish you a Happy Birthday?" He asked making me peer over at him with a harsh glare. He got my message and continued, "Alright fine...you'll like what I have planned."
"As long as I won't remember it, I'll be happy." I answered back looking out the window to see trees passing by quickly. We were already out in the country.
"I doubt it but we'll see." He answered back flashing me a lazy smile in the rearview mirror.
"Yes we'll see." I added.
So we rode in his roaring truck for about another hour or so before stopping at a 'friends' house. Taylor went in while I stayed out in the car. I knew all he had to do was wave 50 bucks at the man inside, and he would get some crack. Taylor came back out carrying the brown paper bag, and already my body was tingling for the substance. I could say I wasn't addicted, but of course I would be lying. I tried going cold turkey once and failed miserably but I was trying it again and I was proud to say that I was high free for a week now.
He nudged the bag toward me asking if I wanted any but I shook my head, "I told you I'm trying to quit."
He only rolled his eyes at me before putting the bag down between the two of us. "How do you expect to forget this day then?"
I scrunched up against the door with my feet against my stomach as I tried to get as far from the bag as possible. My hands were just shaking looking at it wanting the substance but I wasn't going to betray myself.
He drove for another hour or so, and I prepared myself another line. I couldn't help it...my body was wanting...needing more. I had snorted 5 more lines before I was to the point of bliss. I was high that was for sure so I didn't even notice that the car stopped, and that we were in front of a loud ravenous party.
Just like most of the parties we went to…they were out in the middle of nowhere in some sort of barn of some kind. Taylor and I finished our weed before we sloppily got out of the truck to headed inside the barn. Before we got there though Taylor pulled me close capturing me in his dilated baby blue eyes. I could see fishes swimming in them from the state I was in.
"Did I tell you how lovely you look tonight."? He asked pulling me a little closer. I glared at him the best I could, but couldn't help but smile.
"I look like crap...can we just go inside?" I asked making him smile before kissing me. Yes ok...I admit me and Taylor were more than just 'friends'. We kept it just as friends, but when we were high or drunk we couldn't help ourselves.
"Inside we go." He said pulling me along with him into the barn. Just like any other party there was loud boisterous music, grinding people, and a whole lot of alcohol. Taylor and I had a normal routine when coming to parties like this. Get as many shots of whatever they have, and then join in on the horny people on the dance floor. Usually by the end of the night there was a couple couples humping on the ground, but they still had their clothes on. That's just what the drugs and alcohol did.
I wasn't one of those types. When I got tired of being crushed against so many guys I usually headed back to the bar area, and drank. I kept on drinking the whole night away until I was so wasted I couldn't even remember who I was. All I knew was that I had to find someone who resembled Taylor, and tell him I wanted to leave.
I searched the barn high and low, and tripped over my feet a couple times...ok…a lot of times. By the time my knees were scraped up to hell I was outside looking for him. He wasn't anywhere in sight so I decided to go to his truck, and wait for him. I just had the truck door open when I heard a deep moan coming from another truck near by.
Since I was drunk I didn't know or care for that matter what it was..my little drunken mind was going to investigate. I sloppily maneuvered my way around the many vehicles until I finally came across a moving black truck. I went to the bed of it since it seemed to be rocking, and what I saw shocked me beyond belief.
"TAYLOR?!" I yelled while blinking my eyes. I couldn't believe it. Taylor looked up with a scared face, and I saw exactly what he was doing. He was fucking some other girl..nope that wasn't going to cut it. I was drunk as hell but I know what I saw, and I know what I felt.
"Sam Wait!" He yelled back just as I tripped backward, and held up my hand to stop him. I wasn't going to wait..I was going to leave, go. I was already feeling sick..I needed to get away. While he still fought to put his pants back up I was already to his truck. I knew exactly where he kept an extra set of keys, and put them in the ignition. I saw a still struggling with his pants Taylor running and yelling as I drove off.
I couldn't believe it..how could he do that to me. Sure he wasn't exactly my boyfriend, but it still felt like it. Plus all this toxin in my body made my mind think rationally. So there I was driving a truck I just stole from my supposed friend, and not to mention I was intoxicated.
It didn't bother me one bit because I was a good driver either way. Really that's what I thought. I was swerving in and out on the road more than I thought, and then a bright shining idea popped in my head right when I saw the bright and shiney light.
It was there 11, 000 lbs in all, chugging it's steal crates behind it going at least 65 mph, and there I was right beside it racing it. The train was honking a lot almost like warning me, but I was too happy at that moment. I would only go up to 80 mph and then slow down to catch back up with the train.
Finally I decided to pass the annoying honking thing, and sped up to 90. The truck started to shake violently, but I didn't care it was thrilling. I pressed on the gas petal further, and further reaching it's maximum speed in no time. The truck still shook, but kept going. Then I saw it..something else that would make this night even more eventful.
There was one of those turn offs in the country that passed right over the railroad tracks. Ohh yeah I was going to do it. I slowed down faster than I had sped up making sure I would get the turn. Little did I know the faster I slowed down the faster the train was catching up to me.
The adrenaline Rush came right when I heard that honking horn and turned. I couldn't stop, the truck barely kept on two tires when I swerved to turn. I pressed down full on the gas petal and went up the small hill and right there was the blinding light. It came from my right, but I didn't look just grabbed onto the stirring wheel, and held my breath.
I felt my back tires go over the tracks, and no boom..yet. I thought I was in the clearing, but my bed was 2 feet from passing. That's when the train hit it. Then on I had no flipping idea what was happening. I felt the sudden jerk of the train and felt my torso being practically ripped, and then I felt I was rolling.
I was practically laughing in pain as the truck flipped..once…twice, but on that third roll I was out the broken window and crushed right under the door. One word. Damn. You would think ouch, but I was already dead before I could feel anything.
I heard the music all around me. It was the same music my mother use to play for me when she would put me down to sleep. She called the cd. "Celtic Woman."
I never understood why she liked them so much, but I didn't complain since they put me straight to sleep. Being trapped in my mind I was beginning to think that my life was flashing before me, and I was remembering this song because it seemed to be my mother's favorite.
I was humming along with the song when everything suddenly went white. My mind went white my site turned white even the music seemed to turn white, and stopped. Then I knew I was going to heaven it wasn't hard to recall what happened to me. I died end of story.
"That is just merely the beginning my child." I heard a faint laugh come from this unknown voice. I could already think it was an angel, but I had no idea what she meant by the 'beginning'. I searched around the best I could trying to pinpoint where this person was, but everything was just plain white.
"Hello?" I called to the brightness around me hoping someone would answer.
"Ohh..Sorry." I gave a weird look I think, but suddenly there was a flashing bright light which reminded me of the train. I almost felt frightened for a moment, but then I saw what was causing the bright light. Yup. I was in heaven and here was an angel coming to see me. I just stood there now with an almost bored look. The woman walked closer and with each step there was a blinding light until finally she was right there in front of me.
"It has been so long Samantha." I looked at the woman with her blonde long hair that seemed to touch the floor. I couldn't tell what color her eyes were just because her face was so blinding white. I didn't know who she was or how she knew me, but she did look familiar.
"Who are you?"
"Don't you remember me Sam?" She laughed again while I gave her a weird look. "I'm your mother."
I think I gasped I can't really be for sure. My heart I could tell was pounding though. Now that I looked at her long and hard I could see the resemblance to my mother. This woman was just so godly that I couldn't tell it was her. I could start to feel my eyes building up with tears.
"Mom?" I said in a whisper while she gave me a warm smile.
"Yes hunny..I've missed you so much." She reached out a hand for me to touch so I extended mine. My fingers were just barely going to touch hers, but when I finally got there her hand wasn't even there. Well it was there, but yet not there. Her hand disappeared around mine making me think of a hologram program.
"I missed you to mom." The tears started to fall then because I couldn't touch her.
"I'm sorry dear..I'm sorry about everything.." Her eyes were brimming up with tears also.
"It's ok mom..your with me now."
She gave a weak smile, "I can't stay hunny."
"Why can't you?" I asked all to quickly.
"I have to get back to heaven." She said nudging her head upwards.
"Wait..I'm going to heaven right?" I was slightly confused now.
"No dear." My mouth suddenly went dry thinking about devil and hell. Before I could scare myself too much she spoke again. "Don’t worry my dear, I will not send you to hell. I am giving you another chance. The chance you always wanted."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm sending you to another place. Somewhere where your dreams can come true." She reached out again almost like she was going to touch my cheek.
"My dreams come true..where?" I asked but my mother looked up. She had an urgent look in her face.
"I would love to stay longer hunny and explain everything, but I only have so much time. I'm going to cleanse your body from all the toxins you have taken, but I can not cleanse your mind." She took a step closer and held her hands out next to my head. I didn't understand what she meant by not being able to cleanse my mind. That really didn't bother me either..all I wanted was to be with her. Her hands glowed a weird white and I felt something inside me toss and turn.
It was weird it was almost like I could feel my stomach and liver growing back. I felt like I could breath again, and that my body actually wouldn't collapse at any moment.
"Good-bye my daughter."She called while I felt something faint on my forehead like she kissed it. I wanted to say something, but there was suddenly a great blinding light. After that everything went black. I must have lost consciousness or something.
A long time seemed to pass, but slowly I was regaining consciousness. With the consciousness I started to feel everything around me. The only thing that I could feel the strongest was the pain. My head was pounding like it was smashed in. Almost like when you hit your nose really hard how it hurts for a second well it felt like that, but the pain was still there.
That was just the beginning to my pain my entire body was soar and I could feel bruises all over. The other thing I noticed was the way my stomach felt ripped in half. It almost felt like I didn't even have any legs because I was numb the rest of the way down. I could faintly feel pain coming from lower down so I knew I still had my legs. That first heavy breath I took was almost like the first breath you take when you hit the surface of water after almost drowning.
At first my body seemed to welcome the oxygen, but then the pain came stronger. My lungs burned horribly and it didn't even feel like I had two lungs..maybe one and a half. I would have opened my eyes already but my pounding head was like a migraine so I couldn't do anything but lay there feeling every bit of pain in my body. My breathing got back on track after a while slow and steady but it wavered from the pain.
I started to think since that was the only capable thing to do. I remembered the wreck all to clearly so did that mean I was still at the wreck. I knew for sure I wasn't in a hospital bed because it was hard underneath me. Not gravel but more dirt. I recalled the whole vision with my mother it felt like a dream, but I knew for a fact it wasn't. I remember her vaguely talking about sending me somewhere else. Well if I was somewhere else why was I feeling all of this damn pain.
It annoyed me a bit, but I guess it couldn't be helped. I decided to stop thinking and try to move. The only thing I could even think of moving was my fingers so I slowly started to send control through my nerves to my fingers. It was almost like when sometimes you tangle your feet, and you stare at one wanting it to move, but since they were tangled your other toe was the one moving.
It took a couple seconds but I started to feel my fingers move only slightly. I moved them close in slowly dragging them over the dirt. I got them close enough to where I could close them into a fist, but no matter how hard I tried to make it close it only went so far. It was useless to try to move any further. Nothing on my body was going to move any further than my hand was.
I was just about to give up and drift off when I heard voices. It took my some time to understand that they were voices, but I almost felt happy when I heard them. Both of them were deep and rough so obviously both males. I tried opening my mouth to speak, but it wouldn't move. Instead of trying to make myself speak I listened to them trying to see if they knew I was well, wherever I was.
"Oh, Seth look over here." I felt my heart jump thinking whoever they were had found me.
"Wow that looks painful..what is she?" I could have blinked my eyes if they weren't already closed. Did they just ask what I was?
"She's a human!" I felt a little scared then, and a little on the awkward side. I would have been thinking Duh stupid head, but he sounded shocked. It was like he was surprised that he was looking at a human. That was the scary part because I had no idea what these two were. Probably to crazy people who thought they were aliens.
"How do you think she got here?" This one sounded a little stupid. I could tell it was the one named Seth.
"Doesn't matter I bet we would get a lot of money off of her." My mouth suddenly went dry. I was completely well I'm not sure how to describe it. I was damn scared for one thing. They were talking about getting money off of me..wtf.
"Good point so you get her arms I'll get her legs." This was Seth again, but I didn't care who it was. I could feel one person in front of my body and then one at the bottom. Were they actually going to pick me Up? My thought was affirmed when I suddenly felt my arms and legs being grabbed. They lifted me up, and damn didn't I feel like I just got ripped in half. I don't remember if I screamed or not, but I definitely blacked out.
~~~Sometime later~~~
"Is she awake?" I heard a voice this one quiet and hushed.
"I think so she's moving." This one was just the same very quiet.
I think I groaned a bit, but all the pain came flooding back in a wave. First it started with my head and worked it's slow painful way down to the tip of my toes. I felt like I was being rocked back and forth, but I could feel hard ground beneath me. There was a sound around me something like horse hooves mixed with the squeak of a rusty tire of some sort.
I couldn't tell anything around me well not yet. I needed to open my eyes and see what was happening. I swallowed a huge lump in my throat and forced my eyes to open. Slowly my eyelids opened and all I could see was some sort of blurred darkness. I allowed myself to blink a couple times to clear the haze, and then finally I could see.
It was dark where ever I was, and I could see silhouettes of people in front of me. Just then the hard thing underneath me left for a second before I bumped right into it. Pain shot through out my body causing my to cringe.
"Sorry..someone help her up." I heard the same voice that seemed to wake me up. I opened my eyes again to see one of the dark figures advancing toward me.
I couldn't be picked up so I opened my mouth. "No." It barely even left my mouth it sounded more like a breath of air. The figure was now in front of my so I cleared my throat. "No."
"Did you say something?" The person asked in that hushed tone.
"Do-n't..pick..me..up." I managed to get out while breathing harshly. Just then whatever I was on hit another bump causing the pain to serge through my body.
"Suit yourself." The voice said, but I was already drifting away. The pain once again took over and I fell into the darkness.
~~~Again sometime later~~~
I felt a red hot burning sensation on my cheek, which caused my eyes to fly open. I didn't feel any other pain but that sting on my cheek someone must have slapped me. I was surprisingly numb except for that cheek of mine. I couldn't keep my eyes open for very long they felt like bricks so I closed them again while my head hung down. Suddenly I felt another sensation this one wet and cold, which chilled me all the way to the bone.
I opened my eyes that time, and kept them open. Cold water was dripping off of my body, but I looked around. I was in a weird looking room that was for sure. The walls were nothing but cement blocks that seemed to be damp. It was cold enough in the room even without my drenched body. I looked forward at the source of the thrown water and came eye to eye with two males.
"Finally she wakes up." One of them said. He was the better looking one. He was far less dirtier then the other one. He had on all black like a business man. His hair was a dusty blonde while his eyes only looked dark in the room. The other one well he just looked like crap. "Take her to her cell now."
I gave what I thought a puzzled look, but the crappy looking one suddenly came over and untied something from around my wrists. I didn't even notice I was tied up. I was flung over his shoulder after that where he carried me off. I had no idea where I was going but I hoped it was away from this guy because he smelt like rotten fish. I watched the graveled ground move past while he walked, but soon enough he stopped.
I was flung back over his shoulder and thrown onto the ground. I thought I would at least feel pain, but none came. I felt numb like the pain left my body, and knew for some reason that they drugged me. The smelly man closed some sort of prison like door and walked away. I felt like just laying there and falling back to sleep, but I heard something behind me.
I might have been numb from the pain, but I was still able to move my body. I whipped around to see 5 faces staring back at me.
"So she's awake." I looked through all of their filthy faces until I found who the speaker was. It was a girl a cute girl really, but she had a sadistic smirk on her face. She didn't look like she would harm me, but I didn't like that look on her face.
"Don't mind her." Another voice said I roamed again until I found another dirty face, but this one was a male. I couldn't understand all of this. All of them looked like they just came out of the dumpster just freshly picked. They had tattered clothes on that looked oddly like jeans and shirts maybe. I remembered the first voices I heard talking about being human, but these 5 all looked human to me.
"What happened?" I asked even though my mind was boggled with more than just one question. I had millions all of them beginning with WTF! The boy sighed but gave me a straight look.
"Uh..well this is hard to explain." He answered at first almost like collecting his thoughts but the girl took over from there.
"I'll give you every detail girl the details that fairy boy over there won't tell you. Here it is. Your dead meat. Some how or another you got to this forsaken place like the rest of us. You were captured by some stupid people who decided to give you to an auction train. This isn't a normal auction..no. The buyers of this auction or anything but mortal. They take you away where they do with they want with you. Your most likely to die, but hell enjoy life while you can."
I blinked a couple times. I wasn't exactly keeping up with her. I think I understood though I wasn't in Kansas anymore. I went through everything in my mind a couple times before I chose the right questions.
"You guys are human right?" I asked voice calm and steady.
"Yes." The boy answered giving a glare to the girl who explained everything to me.
"And we're all here to be auctioned off to immortals right?"
"Yes."
"What kind of immortals?"
"Vampires, werewolves, demons, fallens, mostly everything and anything."
"And they take us and treat us like slaves I'm presuming..where we'll most likely die?"
"Yes."
Well that was pretty easy. I actually smiled. It was a weird psychotic smile that actually made me laugh. "Just great. Always what I dreamed." I said stupidly looking up cursing at my 'mother'.
"I think she's gone off the deep end." The boy said toward the girl who just shrugged.
"Haven't we all." She muttered.
I stopped my laughing and looked at the other five to further inspect them. All of them were skinny, my age, and looked like shit. The girl with the sadistic look had red hair that was matted with dirt. Like all of them she looked like she was anerexic so I could just tell I was going to get fed well also. I stopped looking at her and looked at the boy.
His hair was blonde, but looked brown from the mess. He had a cute face, but it was hidden underneath all the grime. He seemed calm, and nice a weird factor for what situation we were in. The other ones looked scared shitless one boy though looked emotionless like he had seen the world and couldn't give a damn about it. He was actually in the corner away from all of them he had one leg rested against the cell wall while the other one was laid out straight. His arm was resting on his bent leg while his knuckles were against his mouth.
He looked like a killer for some reason, but he just stared out into the darkness outside the cell with a look of thought in his eyes. His hair was interesting dark jet black and long. It came past his neck in the back but in the front it just came down to his chin. He actually kept it over one eye, which was really quite hot. If I wasn't about to die I would have came over and talked to him, but there was no real point to it.
"So bloody, what happened to you?" I looked back over to the girl just noticing that I was staring at the guy in the corner. I had to think of her question for awhile.
"I have a name." I muttered back glaring.
"Doesn't matter what happened to you. You looked like you got ran over by a bus." She stated and I wasn't surprised.
"That's because I did..well..not really. I tried to beat a train." I said back to her with a long dreary sigh.
"Who in their right mind would do something as bloody retarded as that!" She shouted making me grow a smirk.
"I was wasted and high..and quite frankly I didn't give a damn if I died. Which at this same point..I don’t." I looked around and talked to myself for that last part. I guess I was trying to convince myself that I didn’t care if I died. Well truly it didn't take much.
"I'm glad you're happy then." She said hitting her back against the wall. I sighed a little but raised my hand to my face. I could feel something dry caked onto my face probably blood or something. I felt my hair, which was a giant grease ball. I could just imagine I looked just as shitty as the other ones except for I was wet and in the process of drying. Since I didn't want to sleep or anything I looked myself over.
It wasn't exactly a pretty site. My legs were covered by my jeans and I didn't even bother checking I could see blood dried all over the ripped hole on my thigh. Even though it looked like I lost a lot of blood from whatever wound it was I couldn't feel it. I felt my arms which were a mess themselves mostly covered in blood and mud.
I didn't even bother checking my waist either. My shirt was completely tattered and soaked with blood. I would have probably had a couple cuts on my waist, but again I didn't feel it. Once I was done with my inspection which didn't make me happy I pulled myself to rest against the wall. I tried closing my eyes but I was awake. I probably slept for days, but I couldn't find sleep now.
I just started out into the darkness of the things outside my cell, but I started to feel itchy. I actually started to shake and twitch, and even sweat like a monkey. I could remember when this happened before. It happened when I tried to stay off drugs for a week. I cradled my head in my hands when I found out what my mom meant about not being able to cleanse my mind.
It meant I was still addicted. It meant my body still craved the nicotin in the drugs I took. Since I was in this hell there was no way I was going to get any. I was sure I was going to die from my addiction. I would become some twitchy person who needed some freaking weed. It was only a couple hours it seemed like since I was awake but I felt just as damn bad as that freaking week had cost me.
It was silent for the longest time, but then I heard some talking around me so I quickly tuned in.
"Where is he going?!" I heard the sadistic girl say. Just then I heard someone plop down right beside me so I raised my head out of my hands.
I didn't have to look far because right there in front of my face was a long white cigarette the one thing I was craving. I took it away from whoever handed it to me, but looked to see whom it was. The same boy with the black hair who was sitting in the corner was now sitting beside me.
"Where did you get this?" I asked him while I watched him pull out a lighter.
"I had it before they took me, and they don't check yah." He answered back while lighting the lighter. I put the cigarette between my lips and he lighted it for me.
"Thanks." I said before taking a huge puff. It settled my nerves a little, but I was still craving more. He sat there beside me while I finished the cigarette slowly wanting this feeling of freedom to last, but once I only had a couple centimeters left I had to put it out.
"So what’s your name?" I asked not liking the fact that he was just sitting there beside me with a silence building.
He sighed before turning toward me. "Let me give you some advice. Don't get attached to anyone."
With that he just pushed up off the wall to return to his corner. I stared after him baffled, but before my mind could get to jumbled I heard the cell door open.
"First auction, let's get going meat." It was that same smelly guy who was motioning all of us to get up. The sadistic girl walked out first with corner dude behind her. Finally everyone was out so I quickly got to my feet and followed after them.
Everything was dark the halls the room we walked through so it wasn't like I could really tell where we were going. All I knew was that we reached a door that opened to a bright blinding light. It was only blinding because I'd been in the darkness for so long.
I was a little puzzled when we walked through the door. I could tell it was a really crappy auction house. I was pushed roughly to a seat that was beside the fairy boy. I looked out and found an audience. I knew right then and there what I was looking at. I knew they were immortals. All of them stared at us like we were some sort of meat product.
They were judging us sizing us up. All of them looked rich and all of them wore either white, grey, or black. I didn't like them. I didn't like the way they looked at us. Right then and there I hated them. I didn't even see what they did to people but I knew for a fact that I hated them. I always hated people who judged people, but this was the worst of the worst.
That day fairy boy, sadistic girl, and corner boy were all sold. Even one other one with our little group. They had other groups older groups all of them different sizes and ages. When I was called to be auctioned upon I gave them the dirtiest look, which they whispered about. I of course wasn't sold. The auction sellers didn't treat us 'bad products' very well.
We were whipped and then drugged. It wasn't the drug my body was craving for it was some sort of healing drug that healed the wounds on my back. So that night I slept in my cell with the other girl who wasn't auctioned. In the morning there was another auction held, but again I wasn't sold.
I began to understand why they didn't want me from their whispers. To them I looked like crap. It was probably the way I looked from my wreck. Also I tended to shake and still sweat because of my need for drugs..damn mind.
I was slowly getting use to the cycle. I would wake up to be forcefully auctioned. Then once I wasn't sold I was given some sort of torture treatment which the stupid healing drug always hid. I watched different people getting sold, and I watched the people who arrived all of them asking questions.
