"Yeah? Well you roll your eyes so much you'd think they'd tell time!"
"Oh yeah? Well you can't even tell time!"
"Oh yeah? Well -"
"Would you PLEASE shut up?!" Celina shouted. "You're giving my migraine a migraine!"
"You mean a like baby migraine?" Celine chanted.
"That's not physically possible. If you examine the nuero -" Jolynn began.
Lola chuckled. "Well, that made them stop bickering."
The four girls were sojourning to Joseph Mark Trohman's new house, as you might have seen on MTV Cribs. It was his birthday, and they came bearing gifts. And themselves. And food. And basically the life of the party.
Lola was driving, because although all four girls are licensed, only she has the sensibility to drive correctly. And safely, for that matter.
Flashback
"Whoa! Baby turtle!" Celine screamed happily, pointing out of her window.
"Baby turtle?! Where? Can we keep him?" Jolynn asked, hitting the brakes hard.
Lola, who was idly listening to her iPod, launched forward and hit her head upon the back of Celine's seat. Celina was talking on the phone with Somebody(COUGHJEWCOUGH)and dropped her phone.
"Jo, unlock the door!" Celine demanded, pulling the door handle back and forth.
"Well, if you stopped doing that then maybe I could!" she huffed.
Celine glanced at her hands, and her eyes wandered to the window control. "Oh, this is probably faster," she commented, rolling down her window. She then stood on her seat and stuck a foot out.
"Oh, that looks cool!" Jolynn said happily, rolling down her own window.
"Celine!" Celina yelled.
"Jolynn, you can't stop in the middle of the road!" Lola scolded.
"But the turtle!"
"Are we there yet?" Celine and Jolynn chimed.
Celina cringed. "Seriously, are we?"
Lola smiled. "Yes we are! And Celina, quit moping. You are about to enter the house of your beloved -"
"LOLA!" she shrieked.
"What? It's so true!" Celine pointed out.
There was a small pause in conversation. "What, you're not going to say anything Jo?"
"There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live!"
"..."
"Why do we bother?" Lola joked, as she parked.
The girls quickly scrambled out of the car and were perched upon the front door (along with birthday accessories) when it swung open widely.
"Why, hello there, little girls!" Pete shouted.
"Hey, just cause you're older by what, six years?" Jolynn huffed, as they embraced anyway. Pete and the others hugged as he replied, "Well, okay. Maybe just one little girl."
Jolynn shook her head as everyone laughed and went inside. Immediately Patrick engulfed her in a big hug.
"HIYA!"
"Hey Patrick!"
Andy showed up with (what else?) a phone in one hand and a Mountain Dew in the other. He quickly hung up. "Oh, hey guys!"
Again, hugs all around. Celina looked around for the host of the house, craning her neck this way and that.
"Looking for me?" a familiar voice asked from behind her.
"Hi Joe!" she squealed, giving him a huge hug, as Sucka immediately ran up and started jumping around in the excitement of guests.
"JOE WE'RE GOING TO YOUR BACKYARD!" Jolynn and Lola exclaimed, racing off in two different directions.
Celina looked at Joe. "Neither of them is going the right way," she pointed out.
"Yeah, I know," he said, grinning. "Hey, where'd Pete go?"
"Now that you mention it, Celine disappeared too."
The
"What are you doing?" Joe asked.
Neither Pete nor Celine budged, but Patrick answered, in a monotone voice, "They're having a milk mustache contest."
"Oh my gosh we're lost!" Jolynn and Lola chorused from an unknown area of the house.
Patrick and Andy looked at each other and just laughed and walked off.
That left Joe and Celina alone (without counting the preoccupied milk mustachers).
"You know what?" Celina said thoughtfully. "I want to see your teddy bear."
"Right this way madam," he replied, putting his hand to the small of her back as he graciously led her to his closet.
And Celina couldn't help but shiver. And Joe couldn't help but notice. They got to the closet, and just it be by coincidence that Joe closed the door.
"Hey, Celina?"
"Mmm?"
He softly pressed his lips against hers, and immediately she began to react. Her arms went to his neck; his hands supported her waist. They melted into each other like two Spider Man popsicles on a hot summer day.

Suddenly the door opened.
"Oh. This is not the backyard. Dammit!" Jolynn rambled, closing the door quickly, her face flushing from embarrassment. Joe laughed, and Celina leaned her head on Joe's shoulder, stifling a giggle.
"Happy Birthday Joe," she whispered.
The door opened again. "Hey Trohman, I need a shir -" Pete stopped, staring at them. "Oh, hi."
Celina and Joe glanced at Pete, whose shirt was doused with milk. "Celine tilted my glass on purpose!" Pete defensively said.
She looked at Joe, and shut the door in Pete's face.
"Happy birthday," she repeated. He smiled and kissed her again.
