[Pride] Seven Deadly Sins [Vincent Crabbe]

***THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I WROTE. AND PERSONALLY, I THINK IT'S ONE OF THE BEST. THOUGH OF COURSE, I SAVED THE VERY BEST FOR LAST!***

People like to portray my buddy, Goyle, and I as oafs.
They like you to think that we're big, dumb, cronies of the infamously perfect Draco Malfoy.
Well these people, couldn't be more wrong. Sure, I'm no Hermione Granger. I never get 'Outstandings' or 'Exceeds Expectations' for grades; but I've never gotten anything less than 'Acceptable'. No, I'm not as good looking as Cedric Diggory. I'm the poorest man alive compared to Draco. I'm not as funny as Fred or George. And by no means am I as famous as Harry Potter.
But I'm fine with that.
I have something much more valuable to be proud of; my cunning.
I fooled you all.
Even Draco thinks that I'm a stupid, lowly being. He thinks I can't read, that I can't put two and two together. Malfoy thinks I'm going to obey his orders my entire life. Need I say it again?
I've fooled you all.
That's proof in itself that I'm better than you. My cunning is my most prominent quality, though none of you have dared to see it. Especially, Draco. This, Ladies and Gentlemen, is his downfall.
"Crabbe! Goyle! Get over here!" That's him now, the arrogant prick. I wonder what he wants this time. I suppose I'll waddle over there and find out.
"It's about time!" Draco hollered, "I've been calling you bloody oafs for ages!"
"Sorry, Malfoy," Goyle grumbled. Poor Goyle, he has so much potential, but no ambition.
We're in a large, dueling room of Malfoy Manor. There's seven in all, and this one is the largest. Each one has a different theme. This one dawns the golden gloss of pride. How appropriate.
"I need to practice dueling!" Draco declared, "Crabbe! Arm yourself!"
I pulled out my wand to do as told. We dueled fiercely for some time. I let Draco win.
"Is that all you've got, you bloody weakling?" he spat.
Now as I may have explained, I'm proud, very proud of my cunning. It's my one redeeming quality. My strength is also quite remarkable. Maybe I'm too proud, or maybe Malfoy just pushed me too far. Either way, I place no blame on what happened next on my quick thinking; my cunning.
"Expelliarmus!" I yelled. Draco's wand flew out of his hand and into mine. I twirled it around in triumph. I plastered a very Draco like smirk on my face.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Draco screamed at me.
"I'm sick of listening to you complain, Malfoy. I'm tired of having you insult me all the time." Draco looked stunned. Goyle; on the other hand, hung his head. He knew about my true nature. Goyle alone, knew that I was worthy of much more than what Malfoy offered.
Because I am. I'm so much better than Draco Malfoy, notorious git.
"Crabbe?" Draco began, voice cracking, "What are you doing? We're friends, aren't we?"
"We could have been," I answered, "But you've pushed me to the limit, Malfoy. And I'm done with it."
"Wh-what are you saying, Crabbe?" Draco looked on in fear. He was defenseless, at my mercy. Well, mercy is for the weak. I, Vincent Crabbe, am not weak. I am above weakness.
"It's over, Malfoy. Give it up," I growled.
I pointed Draco's own wand at him and yelled at the top of my lungs: "AVADA KEDAVRA!"
He slumped to the floor, lifeless and cold.
Much like his heart had always been.
"Crabbe? Hello?" I snapped out of my day dream.
Draco was standing in front of me in the Pride themed dueling room of Malfoy Manor.
"Bloody idiot," he grumbled, "Are you ready now?"
I nodded. Draco took his position across from me. I snuck a glance at Goyle on the sidelines, he shook his head.
"Crabbe? Are you ready or not?"
"Oh, I'm ready, Malfoy," I answered, raising my wand. He looked taken aback, but shrugged it off. I was finally ready.
I'm going to prove just how much better than Draco Malfoy I really am.
