Slouching down on one of my chairs, closest to my bed I let out a loud sigh and sit there with a towel wraped arond my hair and my legs spread apart with my back slouched. Very unlady-like if I do say so myself. Even though I absolutely love taking showers because it's like washing away my mixed emotions, it's after the shower that gets me so relaxed that I'm to lazy to want to even move. That's why I need my coffee every morning. Also it keeps me in good condition so I don't bite people's heads off. Not much of the morning person.
Slowly, I push myself forward to stand up and head towards my dresser to pull out some clothing to wear. Earlier when that odd salesman came by, I could have sworn it was like Seven, AM, because it sure felt like it. But when I looked at the time on my phone it was really Ten. Now it's Eleven and I have about an hour and a half before I have to go spend some 'quality' time with my family.
"This is not the Sunday I had in mind..." I growl underneath my breath and pull out a pair of blue jeans ripped at the knees; you know, the kind you see all the kids wearing now adays. Gotta feel young too, ya' know. But Twenty five isn't so bad.
I pull out a black tee-shirt with long V-lining and it shows part of my midriff. If I have to hang out with my family, at least I can look good doing it. Right?
I sit down in my kitchen and pour myself some of the coffee I made a few minutes ago and take a sip of it and sigh in relief. "Mucho' better.." A weird grin spreads across my face and I quickly finish my coffee and hurry to fix my hair up and put shoes on.
"Might as well leave now and have Sam come with me to feel my pain." Sam is one of my bets friends. We attended high school and college together and moved to Nevada last year. We always talked about being together the rest of our lives. And so far it's true. But we haven't spent much time together because her rotten, bossy boyfriend. So, I figure we can spend time together today suffering with my family.
Grabbing my cellphone and purse, I head out my door and lock it and head down the steps. Her apartment is close to here so I don't need to drive, I'll just walk.
Heading down the sidewalk, people walk past me as I walk past them. But then, up above I see my worst nightmare from this morning. "You have got to be shitting me.." I mumble.
The salesman from earlier is talking to this one man about buying his briefcase and I just roll my eyes. 'He just never gives up.' I make my way past him, but can overhear him and the one guy's conversation. He's actually going to buy that bizarre Briefcase?! What a freak. He pulls out Twenty dollars and hands it to the salesman and I slightly laugh to myself.
'People are so stupid..' I shake my head, still slightly giggling and continue walking off, not even bothering to turn and see what else is in that strange case.
I few minutes later, I make it to Sam's apartment and was about to head inside when all of a sudden I feel a huge impact come onto me and I completely fall over and my purse drops as well and everything falls out. "Ah, what the heck?" I groan and sit up rubbing my head.
"Oh wow, I'm terribly sorry. here let me help you with your things." A voice says to me and I look up and, God damnit it's the freak with the case. "You again?!" I shout out and point right at the orange haired salesman. "Why do I keep seeing you?!" He finishes putting all my things back in my purse and hands it back to me. "Maybe it's 'cause you like me." He smirks slightly and I get a plain look on my face.
"Yeah, that's it. You got me. That's completely the reason." Sarcasm rolls off my toung and he smiles and laughs a bit.
"Oh." He says, grabbing a dirty rag and placing it over my purse. With his hands, he starts making weird movements and it makes me just arch my eyebrows.
"Yeah, I'm gonna take my purse back now.." I go reaching to pull the rag off, but once I do, my purse is nowhere to be seen. "The hell?!" Is all that seems to come out of my mouth as I see my purse, no more. "Old man, what did you do?" I ask rudly and grab him by the collar of his shirt. This is nothing to my evil attitude. He's so lucky I had my coffee, or I'd probably go to jail for beating the man up. Like I said, not a morning person.
"You have it." is all he replies with and gives a thumbs up.
My grip around his shirt tightens and I pull him up a little bit and glare daggers at him. This is causing attention because now anyone in the area is watching us. "Be lucky you caught me in a really good mood." I start saying and force a fake smile on my face. "I'd love for you to give me my purse back now. I'd hate to see what happens if you don't." I say in a very smooth tone, but it was very hard to say nicely.
"I said you have it." He says again.
"OK, OK. If I so called, have my purse, where is it? huh? I don't see it!" I say looking around. Nope, nothing, zip. I see nothing.
"Right here." He says and pats my shoulder, and I look on it and my purse is hanging from my shoulder. "How the heck?" I gasp and widen my eyes in shock, and let him go. Everyone around us is clapping there hands and going "wooo!" Everyone except me of course.
"You know, you're pretty violent for a woman your age. Pretty childish." The salesman nods his head and grins.
"Heh." I mumble and ignore him and walk away, up to Sam's apartment. "You're just like my Mom, calling me things." I shake my head and walk inside the apartment, ignoring all the clapping still and the salesman from replying.
"Stupid man. Who does he think he is?"
I make my way up the stairs to the fifth floor and walk to Sam's door.
'KNOCK KNOCK'
I bang on her door a couple times and lean against the greenish color wall, waiting for her to answer. A while passes and no answer so I knock again, this time louder and more times.
A few seconds later she comes to the door, wrapped around in her...bed sheets? "Erin, what on earth are you doing here?" Sam laughs awkwardly and covers herself up.
"I uhm, I came by to see if you wanted...well I know you won't, so I came by to make you go to this little get together thing my family is having. Thinking you can suffer with me and feel my pain." I say giving her odd looks about the sheets she is wearing.
"Sam, baby, everything OK?" A male voice comes from her bedroom and he pops by the door wrapped in some sheets to and my face goes completely blank. =___='
"Oh my God!" I shout out and point at him.
"Erin, it's not what you think!" Sam says trying to calm me down from my hyper-spasm moment.
"Excuse me, uh..." I point at the man.
"Todd." He replies.
"Yeah, Todd. Can you excuse us for a minute?" I ask and drag her out of her room and out to the hall. "Who the hell is that? What about Alex?" I whisper extremely loud and she motions her hands down, telling me to lower my voice.
"Oh come on Erin, it's called exploring. I need to see if I can do better. I'm a woman, I have my rights to, you know!" She explains and nods her head with determination.
"Yeah, whatever." I roll my eyes. Not like I like her current boyfriend anyway, so I guess whatever floats her boat. "Anyway, you can take him with you, but please come with my to my families little 'get together' thing. I cannot go alone. My Mom and dad will criticize me on everything. Looks, jobs, just about anything you can think of. We haven't spent time together anyway, so think of this as a...little bonding between two best friends." I nod my head, trying to assure her it's all right to go.
"Love to, Erin, but me and Todd aren't quite done yet. He's a cop and he brought some pairs of handcuffs! Oh this is gonna be sooooo great~ My legs are tingling with excitement. Maybe next time, OK?" She smiles and turns to handle on her doorknob and opens it. "You really need to find a boyfriend. They're so great to have around the house, if you know what I mean." She winks at me and slams her door shut.
My head hangs low in shame, knowing I have to go to my family gathering by myself. "I really need to make new friends. Or at least get a boyfriend like she said." I sigh and head towards to stairs. I walk out of the apartment and head back to my place. "Might as well go now before I get a lecture being late.." I mumble and start heading towards my place. As I walk people start pointing and mumbling at me. Probably because they recognize me as the girl who almost beat up the salesman.
As I make my way around the apartment, where all the cars are parked, something catches my eyes on the roof of my car. "Oh my God! What the hell?"

Neh Neh, Shithead.♥
Looking over at my car, on my roof is that dreadful, freakishly creepy briefcase that the salesman keeps trying to sell. "I did not have enough coffee for this.." I mumble and walk over to my car and throw the case in a random direction away from me.
I unlock my car door and sit down, closing my eyes and sighing. 'Hopefully Mom will have more coffee there for me to hog.' I nod my head and open my eyes, but let out a loud scream.
Looking through my mirror, in the back seat of my car that one salesman sits there smiling at me. "Hi. Long time no seen." He smirks and waves his hands.
"Why won't you just leave me alone? What the hell is wrong with you?!" I shout out and completely turn my body to face him.
"Buy the briefcase." He says and I just glare at him.
"That's it!" I shout and get out of my car and open the back-seat. "I don't know how you got in my car, I don't know how you keep showing up in front of me like this, but just leave me alone! I don't need you to keep popping up like this!" I shout and grab his shirt again, but more in the chest area, but pause for a split second. 'This nerdy salesman has nice ABS for a complete dork..' I think to myself but mentally slap myself. 'What the heck?!'
I force him out of my car and point my index finger at him. "You, go away! For good." I growl and get back in my car, start her up and head out.
Any good? If so rate and message. :]
