The Slytherin Prince and The Gryffindor Goddess::Part10
Yes, I know, I havent updated in like two effing monthss. And I'm sorry. But I just started High School, and then I had Writer's block, and a whole bunch of projects, and to top all that off, my Best Friend's mom just died. :[ Well, now i'm going to go ahead and cry because i miss her soo much. Rest in Paradise Tita Pat.Rhea opened her eyes to a loud bang and groaned. Ugh, I'm awake already?
She looked at the clock, 7 o'clock. On a Saturday!
"Rhea! You're finally awake!" someone called.
She closed her eyes, annoyed at being called less than 30 seconds from being awake. People, it's a saturday! I want to be left alone! She dove under her covers and tried to shut out whoever was calling her.
"Come on, Rhea! You promised me!" she heard Cooper say.
It had been a week since her incident with Harry and Draco, and yet, up to now, everyone at school was still talking about it. It was the next juciest thing to talk about besides Rhea and Cooper Jeffersons being the new hottest couple, athough they really werent--Cooper was just really comfortable around Rhea.
Rhea was still 'going out' with Draco, and Cooper was just the son of a family friend. Since the tug-of-war between Harry and Draco, things had gotten a whole lot more tense--and complicated.
Cooper, the son of a family-friend, had transfered from Dumstrang's--and it was Rhea's newly assigned job to show him around. Draco, even though he knew that Cooper was just a friend, was still suspicious of him. But what was 'suspicion' to him, Rhea, Cooper, Harry, and Hermione was 'protective' and 'jealousy' for everybody else, including Ron.
Cooper wasnt just your average everyday transfer student, no, he was an average everday transfer student who was as equally attractive as Draco--if not more (me: i dont think it's possible to have someone more gorgeous than Draco).
And to add to everything else, Rhea had become a prefect because Hermione was too busy with her school-work (which isn't the real reason--you'll find out later), and Cooper had been made a prefect also because Ron was stripped from his duties after docking 100 points each from Crabbe and Goyle for being Draco's cronies (yes, that means Cooper was sorted into Gryffindor--although I bet most of you didnt even think about the Sorting, huh?)
So, Rhea had moved from her shared dorm with Hermione, to her shared dorm room with Cooper. Draco, as everyone had seen, was not taking this lightly.
And Harry? Well, he had gotten closer to Ginny, with the help of Rhea, of course. But Cho, like Draco with Rhea, was not taking it lightly either.
"Rhea, Rhea, Rhea, Rhea, Rhea, Rhea, Rhea," Cooper bounced up and down on her bed. Usually people would explode at this type of action so early on a Saturday morning, but you couldnt explode at Cooper. Emerging from her duvet, Rhea opened one eye, meeting with Coop's twinkling blue eyes from behind his sandy light-brown hair and said, "Coop, get off my bed."
"Come on, Rhea!" Coop smiled getting off her bed. "It's a beautiful day," he said as he lifted Rhea out of her bed bridal-style (me: told you he's too comfortable with her).
"COOP!" Rhea cried, struggling to squirm out of his grasp, but it was hard when he didnt have a shirt on. He headed towards their bathroom with Rhea still securely held in his arms.
"And you promised me, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny that we'd hang out by the lake today."
Rhea rubbed her eyes and stretched, tired of trying to escape from Coop. "I did not," she answered. "And plus, I can't hang out by the lake today, Draco's asked me to go on a picnic with him."
"Rhea, you've been with him everyday! One Saturday won't hurt," he replied as he set her down on her feet.
"I'm sorry, Coop," Rhea said as she put her hair up in a ponytail, heading for the sink. "I know you havent been here that long, but I made a deal. I do whatever he wants me to until after Feburary. No questions asked."
Coop sighed. "What about your friends?" he asked, placing his hands on her shoulders, looking at her in the mirror. "Wont they get a bit annoyed if you spend every waking moment with their enemy?"
Rhea looked at Coop from the mirror. "Annoyed? Coop, I'm doing this for them," Rhea answered simply.
Coop sawyed as he rolled his eyes. "Com-e on! If you spend all your time with him, you're never ever going to get a real boyfriend after this."
"Boyfriend!?" Rhea laughed, reaching for her toothbrush. "Coop, I'm not one to keep a boyfriend."
"Why not?" he asked, reaching for the toothpaste.
"For one thing, my parents wouldnt allow it," she counted off one finger. "Second, I dont want one, and third, I'm not girlfriend material," she poked him on the forehead.
"What do you mean you're not 'girlfriend material'?" he said, putting toothpaste on her toothbrush. "What is that?" he threw his head back. "..and third, I'm not girlfriend material'" he mimicked.
"Chup-pup," Rhea smiled as she brushed her teeth.
There was a knock on the door. Coop smiled at Rhea as he walked to open the door. The knocking became more incessant. "I'm coming! Geez! Hold your thestrals!" Coop called.
Rhea rolled her eyes as she doused her face with cold water.
"Oh, hey Draco," greeted Coop.
"What the hell?! What've you been doing?!"
"Nothing! I swear!" Coop answered, raising his hands up in defense.
"Then put on a damn shirt!" She heard Draco yell. She laughed as she wiped her face in a towel and walked into the room.
"Hey, Draco," she laughed, pulling her hair out of a ponytail. "You're one to talk, why dont you put on a shirt?"
"That's why I'm here," he said. "You borrowed my favorite shirt," he said as he made his way to her drawers on the other side of the room.
"Hey!" Rhea cried. "That's my stuff!"
"That's alright, babe," he winked from over his shoulder. "This isnt the first time i've been through it." Rhea gasped as Coop began to laugh.
"Draco!" she shouted.
"Hmm," he stood up from her bottom drawers, his black t-shirt over his shoulder. "I smell mint."
"That's because I just finished brushing my teeth," Rhea eased up.
"Well, that's great," he smirked as he advanced towards her, eyeing her up and down. She was wearing a skimpy spaghetti strap, her hair falling lazily around her face, and his quidditch pajama bottoms.
"Come here," he grabbed her, their lips touching. Ohhh. I could just melt in his kisses. Nope, wait. Scratch that--it's just a deal. Just-a-deal.
"Draco," she pushed away.
"Stop," she laughed as he tickled her sides. (me: Yepp, they've gotten ALOT closer.) He let go and sprawled across her already messy bed.
"What time are we going for the picnic?" Rhea walked over to the closet, looking for a simple dress to wear on the picnic.
"I dont know," she answered, surveying a floral red and gold dress or a striped green and sliver one.
"Rhea, i'm off. See you later!" Coop called.
"Bye," she replied, still debating over the dresses as the door closed behind Cooper. She felt two strong, warm arms wrap themselves around her waist.
"Yes, Draco?" she asked, not wavering from the dresses.
"If you want my opinion, I like the striped one," he said, laying his head on her shoulder. "Hmm," she considered. "I'll try it on." I grabbed both dresses and headed towards the bathroom.
"Where are you going?" Draco asked.
"To try it on?" Rhea said obviously.
"Try it on right here," he pointed in front of him. Rhea rolled her eyes.
"I dont think so, Draco." God, I swear, he is just so perverted sometimes!
__5 minutes later__
"So?" Rhea asked, twirling around in the red and gold dress. "What do you think?"
"You dont want to know what I think," answered Draco lazily from behind one of Rhea's old diaries.
"No, I do," Rhea said distractedly as she looked at herself in the mirror. I think Draco's right though. The green one does bring out my eyes. But then again, he likes that because it's the Slytherin colors.
"Alright then, you wanted to know," he shrugged, getting up from the bed. "I think you'd look alot better without anything on. And that i think if we--" he waves his wand at the door, locking it. "--stay in here for a few hours, we can call off the picnic."
"Hmm, that's nice," Rhea said, looking at her butt. Hmm, yepp. I'm definitely wearing the green one. This one makes mybutt look flat.
"Did you hear what I just said?" Draco asked, also looking at her butt from the mirror.
"Yes, I did," nodded Rhea, looking at him in the mirror. "And I think you should shove what you thinkup your butt," she smiled cheekily. "But if it makes you feel any better, I'm wearing the green one."
Draco smirked at her comment. **That's my girlfriend...** As he thought this, something in the back of his mind added: **...because of a deal.** Draco's smirk faltered, knowing that she was only with him because of a deal.
That was something that even the famous Slytherin Sex God couldnt handle.
__An Hour Later__
"Merlin's beard," cried Draco, throwing his hands up in the air.
"We're going to a picnic down by the lake! Why the hell would you take an hour to get ready for that?!"
Rhea shrugged, happily bounding down the stairs in her silver and green dress that was simple and yet showed off her every curve. "Because, maybe there's a cute boy that I'll catch the eye of," she joked.
Draco swallowed, feeling as though he had swallowed a rock. "Ha ha, Rhea," he rolled his eyes. "Very funny, then that means the--"
"--deal is over," Rhea finished, turning around to face Draco with her hands behind her back. "Geesh, Draco, ease up!" she laughed.
"Let's go," Draco rolled his eyes, inwardly laughing with her. He grabbed her hand and sped off towards the lake.
"Draco!" Rhea laughed, trying to keep up with him as he dragged her along. "Oh my god, Draco! Slow down!"
"Alright, alright," he said, slowing to a walk. "I forgot only one of us play's Quidditch and's in shape."
Rhea gasped. "I am too in shape!"
"You dont act like it," he retorted, eyeing her. "Besides, you're a book worm with looks, and well I'm...Draco."
"Oh, thank you, MR. CONCEITED!" laughed Rhea. Draco smirked at her cheery disposition as the entered the grounds.
"Oh my god," someone whispered from behind Rhea. "It's her! Rhea Izar, the famous Gryffindor Goddess! Did you hear? She's going out with Cooper Jeffersons and Draco Malfoy! What a player!"
Rhea's face fell as she now walked quietly hand-in-hand with Draco. "Oh, I know!" another voice agreed. "I always thought she was so nice, too!"
"No," the first voice said. "It's all an act! Dont you listen to what everyone's sayin--"
"Hey, bitches," Draco stopped abruptly. "That's my girlfriend you're talking about."
The two girls looked at Draco fearfully. "D-Draco," I stammered, looking at the two girls carefully. "I-it's fine. Let them think what they want--"
"Fine, I will. But I never want to hear you two talking about her that way, ever!" he threatened them with a glare. "That goes for all of you," he shouted angrily. "She's going out with me, and me only. Not Jeffersons--me!"
Rhea watched him, entranced at what he was doing. This isn't like him. He doesn't stand up for anyone but himself...although, it does feel nice to have boyfriend to protect me...
"Come on, Rhea," Draco said angrily, dragging Rhea again. Finally escaping the peering eyes of their fellow students, Rhea and Draco found a secluded area near the lake. "Draco?" Rhea started, fiddling with her fingernails.
"Yeah?" he answered with his eyes closed as he lent against a tree.
"Thanks."
He opened one eye and shifted slightly. "...you're...welcome," he nodded.
"So, where's the picnic?" asked Rhea, changing the awkward subject, knowing that Draco never did anything like he did earlier, "I'm starved."
"Ughh," Draco answered, getting up from his spot.
Rhea laughed and reached over to brush some leaves from his hair. She watched him distractedly as he waved his wand towards the castle. Almost instantly the picnic was set, complete with sandwhiches, fruits, and a complimentary blanket.
"Ta-da," he said unentusistically. "Compliment's of the house elves."
"This looks yummy!" Rhea smiled. Draco watched her adoringly as she helped herself to a grape."Mmm!" she chewed. "They're really sweet! Here, try one," she said, dangling a grape over Draco's mouth.
He was laying down, looking at the clouds. "Now, this--this is the life," he smirked, taking the grape.
"Hmm," Rhea smiled softly at Draco, as he closed his eyes. He's so cute. Oooh. She yawned. "Is it okay if I take a nap?" she asked. "I'm a bit sleepy," she swayed. "Cooper woke me up pretty early today."
"Go ahead," he shrugged, placing his hands under his head, closing his eyes. He jumped a little as he felt something lay on his chest. He opened his eyes to see Rhea with her head on his chest, dozing away, lifting up-and-down as he breathed.
"Draco?" she whispered groggily. "Hmm?"
"You smell really good," she smiled, before falling into a sleep.
Draco watched Rhea sleep peacefully, her hair dancing softly around her face as the wind blew. He became curious as to when she smiled in her sleep. **Rhea...I wonder if she's thinking of me...No, it's not possible. She's just with me because of a deal. Malfoy's do not HOPE that girl is dreaming about them, it's the other way around.**
"Draco," she stirred in her sleep, placing her hands on his chest.
Draco's heart skipped a beat. **She's dreaming about me.** He wrapped his arms around her and inhaled the watermelon scent of his 'girlfriend's' hair, as he closed his eyes and fell to sleep. It had been the perfect date, even if his date was asleep. Knowing that she had been dreaming of him was enough to make his day for a months.
Antonio: Finally! We're back on board!
Me: You are...i'm not.
Antonio: It's okayy...
Me: *tears tears*
