Kaori woke up confused but decided to forget her dream until she had time. Tyson had just kicked her in the head and she needed to retaliate even if he was sleeping.
Maybe I should lite him on fire again, she smirked but had no intention of making her only contacts to this world angry with her. She only intended to prove her strength to prevent any physical violence between her and these new people.
Instead, she knocked him upside the head before scrambling back to her sleeping area and re-establishing her protective shield. As Tyson woke up and tried to retaliate he whined in pain after his fist met the invisible barrier.
"Tyson, what is it now?" Rei groaned after being woken up.
"She hit me!" he yelled back pointing at Kaori's sleeping form.
"Nice try Tyson but have you noticed that she was sleeping?" Rei yawned, sarcasm creeping into his voice.
"What is with you? Can't you let the injured sleep?" Kaori pretended to wake up.
"Don't play dumb with me little girl, I KNOW you did it!"
"Did what?" she dismissed the question before he could even answer.
"What are we doing today?" she asked innocently.
"Anything you want," Max replied just waking up.
Kaori didn't know what to say to that. "What is there to do?" she ended up asking.
"You could go back home!" Tyson interrupted.
"Tyson!" Max gave him a look.
Kaori lifter the barrier and Tyson went for the kill. She rolled to the side and Tyson's hand hit the floor. Max and Rei suppressed a chuckled and even Kai almost laughed while sitting in the corner.
"I think I'll just stay here and think a bit," she ripped apart her clothing to hide her wound.
"I'll take care of that if you'd like," Rei stood over Kaori and offered his hand out to her. "I learned healing practices where I previously lived so you can trust me," he assured her.
"Alright," she took his hand. "Thank you," was her reply.
"She cracked a smile," Tyson looked stunned. "I think she liked Rei," he whispered while poking Max in his side. A speck of fire fell on the tip of Tyson's head. He screeched and started fanning his head and just as the flame got bigger, it disappeared. "Devil!" Tyson yelled after Kaori. She didn't turn around. "Quit laughing!" Tyson grumbled at Max.
Poor Tyson!
I think Kaori's reasons are good but I'm sure she'll warm up to and trust the blade breakers soon.

Rei helped Kaori up onto the counter so he could properly tend to her. "You must have a pretty cool bit beast to erect a forcefield like that," he tried to break the ice. All bladers he knew of found it easy to talk about their bit beasts.
"Bit beast?" she questioned.
"Yeah..you know, the spirit that lives inside your beyblade?" Rei was confused. Taking in Kaori's blank stare, he questioned. "Do you even have a beyblade?"
"No, I don't even know how to play that game," she recalled her dream and the name of the game she learned from it.
"Then..how did you create that forcefield back there?" Rei was clearly puzzled and his thoughts ran rampant.
"Magic," she replied frankly.
Rei finished dressing her wound in silence. Once finished he found his voice, "So you're not from this area, are you?"
"No," she replied softly. "I was transfered here somehow and need to get back.." she didn't know if that was the right thing to say but she decided to trust the only people she had in this strange world.
Rei put his arm around Kaori. "Tell us everything that happened to you and we'll get you back."
she should have just told people in the first place!!
Well, at least she's opening up.

"Guys, Kaori has something to tell us," Rei entered the room and lightly pushed Kaori ahead of him.
Kaori stood there shyly before she spoke in a quiet voice.
