Matchstick Houses || four

"Alex and Jack coming here?" I said, pulling a shirt over my now clean body. "That's so wicked."
"What is?" I jumped in the middle of pulling my jeans on, causing me to fall over and Brie to laugh.
"You are..."Laugh, "Such a..." Laugh, "klutz!" Brie broke out into another fit of laughter. Annoying much?
"Shut up. What do you want?" I said obviously annoyed.
"Well...I was coming to ask you if you wanted to go shopping for when the boys get here..?"
"Of course, when?"
"Now?"

i was nearly scared to death
"Oh My Gosh. I can't believe they're going to be here tomorrow!" I gushed over the phone.
"You're lucky. That Alex kid is hot." My friend Ashley said. I glared at the wall.
"Yeah, so I gotta go. Brie is going to be home soon and we're going out to eat." I lied, hoping to end the conversation as soon as possible.
"Alright, bye!" I hung up with the phone without a goodbye and continued staring at the wall.
"Why are you glaring at the wall?"
"Why are you annoying?"
"Why are you so grumpy?"
"Why are you so peppy?"
"Why do you keep answering me with different questions?"

"I hate you." Brianne grumbled.
"I love you too."
"Anyways. Go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." I nodded and stalked off to my room.
"Aha! I know why you're so grumpy! Ash just said she thought Alex is hot again didn't she!?" Brie discovered, following me into my room.
"Get out of my room." I spoke, pulling my hoodie off.
"That is why!" She laughed. I pushed her out of my room as she laughed and slammed and locked the door behind her.
I laid down in my bed, and thought about what Alex and Jack were going to be like in person. They seemed like really cool guys.
That night it took me forever to fall asleep, and when I finally did, Alex filled my dreams.
