"Are you serious? No! They go in there, not in there!"

"Well, you're just going to have to deal with the fact that I know about these things and that I am way smarter then you, no doubt about it"

"Okay, wait a second. This is not even about that. This is about utensils! Gosh, you're impossible!" I turned and walked away in a huff as Ashley put all the forks in the knife slot.
Telling Ashley how to do something is as difficult as telling a three year old there is no such thing as Santa Claus.
"You got me tremblein', stumblin', trippin', tummblin'. I'm clumsy cause I'm falling in love" was what Ashley hummed to herself as she skipped by me, being her usual stupid self.
Ugh, I can't take it any more.
"Ashley!" I called to her, she skipped back over to me.
"I'm going to get the food now, so change back and put the uniform with the others, and bring my clothes. Meet me at the front of the restaurant okay? I'll see you in five."
"Finally" she kept gnawing at that stupid piece of gum in her mouth, looking like a spoiled twelve year old.
She turned and went her way, as did I.
I stealthily made my way towards the main kitchen, telling every chef that was inside that the boss needed them. I grinned as I grabbed a large white to go bag that had "Lulu's Pie" written on it in fancy writing. I hastily walked towards the refrigerator and opened the door, feeling the cool air inside. I looked at the variety of choices to eat.
I felt like a robber in a bank.
Hmmm let's see, whata' we got?
Pie.
Pie.
Pie.
Pie.
And More Pie.
Ack. This isn't good.
I crinkled my eyebrows together as I thought about what to do. I can't bring pies in a bag, it'll get all messy. I looked around the room, seeing if I could find anything else, when I found the solution.
To go boxes.
White, plastic, plain to go pie boxes.
Yes!
I ran over to the stack and grabbed five boxes, then ran back to the fridge, dropping two or three boxes along the way. I looked at the choices of pie and thought about the girls and what they liked.
Hmmm. Key Lime pie? Eww.
Pumpkin pie? Maggie's.
I carefully took the pie from the fridge and gently placed it in the box, then set it inside the bag.
Four more to go.
Raspberry pie? Nope.
Spaghetti Pie? No- wait, what?
I looked back and stared at it in disbelief, then shook my head and went along.
Banana Pie? Eck.
Orange Pie? No no.
Chocolate Pie? Oh, yes yes yes yes.
I licked my lips as I grabbed it and put it in the bag. Three to go.
Blueberry Pie? Joy's.
Strawberry Pie? Uh-uh.
Grape Pie? No.
Watermelon Pie? No.
Apple Pie? Ashley's.
Boston Cream? No.
Peach? No.
Peanut Butter? Nicole's.
I grabbed the three pies and put them in their boxes.
Done.
I smiled as I shut the refrigerator and walked out the door. The coast was clear.
I ran and made a turn towards the restaurant, only to bump into someone and fall down to the cold floor, the bag with pies along with me.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! Didn't see you there" said a smooth, deep voice that chuckled.
I opened my eyes and held my head in pain, as I felt a pair of strong arms help me stand upright. Once my vision was in complete focus, the image before me made my eyes grow wide.
It was a boy.
A drop. Dead. Gorgeous. Boy.
He had curly chocolate brown hair that made me want to run my hands through it. He had deep brown eyes that sparkled when he gave me a clean beautiful white smile. His skin was flawless and tan. He was built. Tall.
Everything about him was just perfect.

My mind ran in circles as I kept trying to keep my mouth closed, but it just hanged there, out in the open, gawking at the figure in front of me.
I swear, he looked like some holy guardian angel in a nice Dolce Gabbana suit.
"I-I...I-umm" I stuttered, feeling like a baby holding a broken record.
He chuckled once again, this time a little less forced and more of a light, calming wave of sound that tickled the inside of my ears.
"Sorry" is what I finally said after swallowing all the word vomit stuttering that was about to come up "my mind blacked out for a second".
He laughed at my little inside joke, and then looked me over. His face showed concern, but in his eyes it looked like he was enjoying it.
"Are you alright? I hope I didn't hurt you" he muttered as he checked my arms and legs for any injuries.
"N-no. I'm fine." my cheeks flushed automaticly when he looked me fully in the face.
"I'm Enrique" he smiled, for the billionth time, as he stretched his hand out. It took me two full seconds to realize he wanted me to shake it.
Note to self: Bang head against wall three times when back in room.
"Cassie" I muttered, as I took his hand. We continued to shake hands as we stared at each other's faces, wondering what the other one was to expect. Then his hand shake weakened, and my had slipped away from his.
Oh, how much I longed for it to stay there.
"So umm...are you the owner of this restaurant?" I looked at my white and pink pumas, feeling invisible in front of him.
He grinned, again, wow, he's a real happy guy isn't he?
I looked up at him straight in the eyes, as he did to me, and after a few seconds, he shook his head, as if he were day dreaming. "Huh? Oh, sorry. No. I'm actually not. I just, wait, you don't know who I am?" his face held both confusion and hope.
"Uh, no. I've never seen you before" he sighed so fast I finally realized he was holding his breath.
"Good, that-that...that's great" he breathed, holding both my shoulders.
"Umm...okay" I smiled, he's strange.
"So, why are you in the back of the restaurant where only employees are allowed then?" I grinned, wondering what his answer would be.
"Oh, yes. Right. Uh, you see, I'm kinda sorta famous and I have this girl that's my ex-girlfriend since three years. And she's stalking me. Everywhere I go to hide, she finds me. She wants me back and won't give up till she does" he ran a hand through his shiny hair, which made me notice he's been sweating before I ever bumped into him.
Wow, I am so not absorvent.
"And this is one of my favourite restaurants, and everyone that works here has known me for a while. And even though it's in a Hilton Hotel, and I despise the Hiltons, it's the closest, most popular one that's easy to get to. So that's why I'm standing here in front of you." he straitened up and tried to steady his breathing.
He is so cute.
"Well, I would have understood if you shortened it, you didn't have to do all that explaining. But thanks anyway" I giggled, as I played with my uniform.
It's itchy.
Ugh, i need to get out of it.
"Yeah, kinda shouldn't have done that huh?"
I giggled once again, he has such a calm air about him.
"I like your laugh" he suddenly said, making me blush.
"Oh, don't be like that. Aren't you used to getting complemented?"
"Not really" I stared at the floor, feeling butterflies in my hungry stomach.
He leaned against the wall and looked me over, a smile on his face. "Well you should be. You should get complemented every day for how pretty you are" I took in a breath and looked at him in disbeleif, his face showed only seriousness.
"Th-thank you" I looked at the floor again, and noticed the bag of pies that was splattered all over the floor.
Once he followed my gaze, he immediately stood upright.
"Oh God. I'm so sorry. Was that for a customer?" he leaned down and began to clean it up, wiping the floor with napkins.
"Um, actually...not really" he looked up in confusion, almost as if his face asked why.
"I-um, I don't really work here" my mind suddenly ran in circles once I said it, I felt so stupid.
"No! I mean umm..." he got up from the floor and walked towards me, his expression asking for the truth.
"Oh, fine"

"Wow, so you must be having a very interesting summer huh?" he chuckled. I laughed along with him as I took another sip out of the cup chocolate milk in my hand.
I had just explained to him everything that has happened.
"So where are the others?"
"Oh, they're in our room sleeping. And Ashley's at the front of the restaurant" I continued to drink the sweet chocolateness, then smacked and licked my lips once it was done, he laughed.
"So hey, do you think you can do me a favour?" he set his cup of hot chocolate on the metal cooking table we were leaning against in the main kitchen.
"Huh?" I looked around the room and towards the door, thinking about Ashley and what she's doing right now.
"I don't know if you'd want to, but I think you have the charisma and potential to do it"
"What?" he sighed and took my hand as he led me towards the door that entered into the restaurant.
"You see that girl, right there? Blue dress?"
"Yeah"
"Well, if you can, do you think you can get rid of her? Tell her something to make her leave? I won't be able to eat in peace with her here. As long as she's gone I can finally relax" I squinted my eyes to see the girl a little clearer.
She had long flowing blond hair, a glowing face, and a bright smile. She looked like a California girl.
"But she's awfully pretty. Why did you leave her?" I looked closer into the window, she was beautiful.
"Haha, well wait 'till you get to know 'er."
He leaned in against my back as he watched her though the window also.
"What's she like?"
"Stuck up, snobby, controlling, the list goes on. She's gorgeous and she knows it, and when she was young that was all she heard, so that's all she wants to hear now. She wants me to say she's pretty twenty-four seven. I hate it. She'll yell at me if I don't compliment her for more than four hours. That's why I left" his warm breath ran down my neck and made my knees go weak.
"I see, not many people could live with that" he chuckled and turned me to face him.
"So, can you do it?" he held my arms in such a gentle gesture there was no way I could say no.

So with shaky hands and a wave of guilt I walked towards the small pink table where the beautiful blond sat, not suspecting a thing from this oll' waitress that felt hideous next to her.
It wasn't until I was only centimeters away when I thought of a solution. Considering the type of person she is and what she's done, she deserved what came to her.
With a sly grin upon my lips and a new air of confidence, I casualy bumped the waitress nearest her and turned around, watching with glee as the waitress spilled all of the fruit smoothie drinks and coffee on her tray onto the blond's classy blue dress.
"Ahh! Oh my God! You little wretch! How could you!" were what the now filthy beauty screamed at the innocent waitress as she stood up and starred at her ruined dress.
I felt a pang of sorrow for the poor waitress, Kallie, for I am the one who was really responsible.
"You should be fired for your horrible manners, lack of skill and clumsiness! Never in my life have I been so humiliated! Watch and see, no one important will ever come to this restaurant again!" she exploded, steam literally coming out of her ears as she huffed to the door, leaving Kallie in intergalactic shock.
"Uh-I...Um-I" she stuttered, her eyes as wide as an owl.
I sighed as I walked past her, feeling guilty as well as proud.
I ran over towards the kitchen door and thrusted it open, huffing as I quickly locked it behind me.

I didn't want to get caught for doing something like that.

I walked deeper into the kitchen, searching for Enrique to tell him the news, when I saw him drenched in whipped cream and pie batter, kneeling in front of the freezer.

"Enrique!"

I ran over to him and began to wipe the pie off his face, not able to wipe the smile off of mine.

"What were you doing?" I managed between laughs, as I helped him up with dificulty.

"Well I was just trying to make a new bag of the same exact pies you had before I bumped into you and smashed them all" he straightened himself up and wiped the rest of the pie resedince off his suit. I smiled with glee.

"Aww, you didn't have to-"

"I was supposed to. It was the right and honest thing to do" he smiled and held my hands so gently it took my breath away.

I bit my tongue and restrained my hands from his grasp, while turning and walking two steps away from him. No, I barely know him.

"So how'd the thing with Suzzy go?"

"Miss ex-girlfriend?"

"Yeah"

"Oh, that was all taken care of"

"What'd you do?"

"Oh, just something any girl would do. If they're sly and sneaky enough."

"Hmm. Sounds devilish" I giggled.

"Just a little bump on another waitress, making all the drinks ruin and soak miss blondy's pretty little dress"

"Ah, that got her out I bet. She'll never come here again form that type of embarresment" he chuckled, as I bit my lip again.

"Thank you"

"Really, it was no proble-"

"No really" he took my shaky hands once more "thank you".

He looked into my eyes, like a brother would when they just say you cry.

"You're too perfect, you know that?"

My eyes went from his face to the ceiling, as I bit my tongue to restrain from speaking.

"Look, I know I've only met you about an hour ago, and I know you're only going to be here for a few days. But I would love to take you out for a coffee sometime. My treat."

I looked over and picked out all the different colors on the walls, the tables, the ceiling and floor, anything to keep my eyes away from his, but somehow they landed upon them anyway.

"I...I-I can't. I'm sorry"

He took a deep breah and let it out slowly as he let go of my hands, his eyes turning a color I haven't yet seen. "I understand, but if you change your mind, I'd stop traffic for you anytime. Here's my card" he reached into his left shirt pocket and pulled out a platinum grey business card, and handed it to me gracefully with a wink.

"See you in Madrid" I didn't have the time to react before he was already out the door. I stared at the card in my hands, taking everything in.

I slowly walked outside the kitchen and searched the restaurant, but he was gone.

I sighed and walked out to the enterance after changing, finding Ashley on her cell phone.

"There you are! God, what took you so long?! I would've left your arse here and went to the room myself if it weren't for the smell of Starbucks. Here, I got you a Mocha Machiato."

As I gingerley took the hot cup of coffee from Ashley's small hand, I started thinking anout Enrique and the reason he gave me butterflies.

Guys never get me like that for no reason.

"Cass?"

Photobucket
"No!" He couldn't be! After all these years. I should've known.

"Enny?"
