Sudden Darkness{07}

Ashlin's eye fluttered open to the fimilar white bright toom.Her eyes flashed towards the deep grey metal door.As the food slide slid opena small trey was pushed through.She grabbed hold og the fork and jabbed it between the small openeing in the slide.She started moving he fork arund in the slit.She heard a small 'pop' and grinned.The door slid open in a fast motion.
"Bingo."she murmered.She grabbed the knife from the plate and stood up from thr floor.She quickly ran out into the dimly lit hallway,she pushed herself up againist a wall to be unnoticed by someone passing,if anyone did.With her free hand she pushed a feew starnds of her deep curly red ember hair from her face.Suddenly a loud beeping began to eacho throughout the facility,her pace speed up with every step she took.She saw a dim faded red light raditating from the exit sign.She ran towards the door and pushed it open once she was in arms reach,she bolted out and ran,she ran as fast as she could,her heart racing,her thoughts fading,the only thing she could hear were the twigs breaking and her heavy breathing.
Ashlin stopped and stood looking at the department store she had found,she was smiling bigger than the chesire cat.Sneakly and steathly she manuvered her way to the pack,she had found a small peice of scrap metal and was able to pick the lock.Her hand ran across the lining of the cold stone wall of the store's backroom.Her hand stopped on a small plastic rectangle witch made her smile alittle larger,she flipped on the light and glanced around in delight.She grabbed a few bags and quickly expanded the size by shoving her hand in them.She started raiding the boxes,she constantly threw various clothes,shoes and hair products into the bags.She grabbed the bags and exited the way she had come in,she stopped in middle of the street and searched her surroundings,in a second tons of things rushed towards her head;memories,people,her history.Her eyes stopped on a large black truck,she grinned and walked towards it in a hurry.She dropped the bags into the back and climbed up,she grinned at the small open window.She moved her body postions multiple times to get into the front seat,after getting into the front and reached back for her bags andpulled them up.She dropped them into the passenger seat before going to look at the wiring.It was quick,it was simple,it was easy.She leaned her head againist the back of the seat as the truck roared to life,she loved knowing how to hotwire a car.Stupid people leaving their car windows open.
Ashlin pulled put form the currently parking spot and speed off towards her destination.After about three hours Ashlin slowed down and calm to a halt infront of a old military styled home.She stopped the car fully and grabbed for her bags,she hoped from the truck and hurried to the door.She dropped the bags and and stared down at the small digital lock,she let out a small chuckle before pressing in the four digit acess code,she was able to get in easily seeing as the four digits were 0103;her parents aniversery.She walked a few steps before stopping infront of another door,she psuhed in 1208,her older sister's graduation.She pushed open the door and repated the same process twice,the third code was 0811 and then 0408.The school she had gone to had very different graduation dates for each class,it was amusing.She pushed open the forth door and stepped into the main house,she grinned and started to remember everything she needed to.Her first prioritie was to change her hair,and that excalty what she did.Her hair layed straight and blonde reaching her shoulders.She walked into the living room and flopped onto the couch,she instantly doozed off into a dreamless slumber.
"Lalaladedanomenaiseeyemefriendlyfiemywoahwahleladedanonenehanlolmemosesaylaleyheho."Ashlin murmered in her sleep,a few minutes later she sat up and glanced around at the dimly lit room.She let out a small sigh and grabbed the tv remote from the clear crystal table and leaned againist the soft couch.She flipped on the tv and sufred the channels,her eyes brightned as she saw her favorite movie just beggening;Rose Red.The movie was amazing,as well as the book.
As the ending credits started rolling two vechiles were approaching the house quickly.
"Fuck."Ashlin exclmaied in a small low whisper.She jumped up hurridly and ran for her bags.She grabbed them and scampered over to a window,she thrusted it open and climbed out shutting it behind her.She ran towards the truck and threw the bags threw the open windows,she jumped in and repated the process of getting the car to start.She started driving as quick as she could getting out of there.
Ashlin let out a long deep sigh of relief as se pulled onto a gravel road,she knew where she was going.She continued driving at a small pace across the gravel road.She pushed her foot down on the brake and yelped as she flew forward.She hoped out from the truck and stared ahead at the woods lying before her.
"Here goes nothing."Ashlin muttered entering the mess of trees .They creeped her out a tad bit becuse of her past.
"Montgomery."hissed a low fimilar male voice.The voice was hard,cold and oddly enough,amused.The voice had made her stop dead in her tracks hurridly glancing around at the tree tops.
