The Meeting
~Kuramas POV~
Our mission was to secure the Orb of Separate Bodies, a powerful orb that can make you swap bodies with someone who is also touching the orb. Right now, we are fighting the demon that has stolen the orb. Using my rose whip and whatever plants I can make attack, I was injuring him a lot, but we were also injured. I had received a pretty major wound to my left arm (thankfully Im right-handed), to my chest, and several slashes to my legs. All that was keeping me alive was determination to get rid of this hideous being and the teamwork of my friends, but I could see that their strength was also fading from them. I could not see what the damage to them was, but Yusuke was breathing pretty hard now. Hiei had some bad gashes on him, but otherwise he was okay, but unfortunately, Kuwabara was knocked unconscious from one of the attacks.
"Hahahahaha.I can see your strength fading. So, Koenma has sent you to retrieve the orb, huh? Well guess what? You're not getting it. So I will give you your fates..death! And you're first redhead!" As he started charging toward me, with his sword over his head, I concentrated very hard on my spiritual energy, or what was left of it. Eyes closed in concentration, I did not notice that he was now at least twenty feet from me. "Kurama look out!" Yusuke shouted, realizing that if I didn't do something in time, I would surely die.

~Hiei's POV~
As the demon started advancing on Kurama, I realized that Yusuke and I couldn't move due to the fact that both of our legs were covered in cuts and stab wounds so painful that we couldn't move. And obviously Carrot Head was of no help. Then, I sensed spiritual energy coming from the ground and heading towards.Kurama! "Kurama get out of there!" I yelled, hoping that he heard me. As the demon was charging at him, there was a booming sound and an explosion. Dust was flying all over the place, and we couldn't see what had happened.
We heard a clanking sound, like something being dropped. As the smoke cleared, we saw the demon had been pierced by sharp edges of bamboo that had sprung up from the ground, and the orb was just ten feet from us. "Yes, we did it!" Yusuke exclaimed, snatching the orb up and putting it in his pocket. Hm.I guess we did, but something felt wrong. Then it hit me. Kurama! I couldnt sense his spiritual energy anywhere in Makai. "Hey Kurama! Where are you?!"

Meanwhile In Ningenkai....

In the town of Niigata, something unexpected was going to happen. Well, to one girl, that is. Something that will change her life in more than one way.
~Kits POV~

"Bye Ms. Landers!" cried out one of my tennis students, as he ran off to catch up with his mom, who was waiting in the car for him. I smiled at him. He was working really hard, and I could tell how much he had improved from last time. I went back into my house, well, it was my grandmother's, but I do help her out a lot, so it is considered mine too. Grandmother wasn't home. She had reluctantly taken Gina shopping since Gina couldn't drive yet. I knew that they were going to be home soon, so I started making lunch.
Getting the pots and pans out, I heard a thumping sound, like something being dropped from the sky. It startled me so much that I dropped nearly all the pots. Curious to what had made the sound, I quickly went to the backyard, which was partly a tennis court and partly garden with walkways. When I got there, I was definitely surprised at what, or who I found. It was a boy, about my age, with long red hair. It looked like he was in a pretty bad fight, because from where I was standing, he had a pretty bad gash on his chest, his left arm, and several, smaller ones on his legs. I had to get him to a room to treat him. Problem was, he was on my patch of roses!
Letting that aside, I had to get him to be able to treat him. I slowly made my way through the thorns, careful not cut myself too much. By the time I reached him, I had a few scratches on me. Taking a careful look, I realized that he was one of Koenma's spirit detectives! Now I know I have to save him!
Putting a hand on his arm, I teleported both of us into my room. Dont worry, I have a spare bed just in case one of my students ever got hurt. I carefully put him on the smaller bed (the kind used in hospitals) and examined his injuries closer.
Ouch! He had a huge gash on his chest (that shirt is totaled), one on his left arm (I believe he is right handed), and some smaller gashes on his legs. Well, at least he gets to keep his pants! I carefully put my right hand on his chest, then my left over my right. Closing my eyes, I concentrated on healing his wounds. Blue light emitted from my hands and slowly wrapped around his body, healing him. When the light faded, I opened my eyes and took my hands off his chest.
I wrapped bandages around his chest and arm, just to make it seem like he was still hurt. I checked his status and confirmed that whatever happened to him, he lost a lot of blood. Sighing, I went to the little storage of blood bags that were hidden under my bed. Taking one of them, I sighed. "Great, this is the last one," I replied bitterly before going back to the spirit detective. I quickly set it up and put the IV into his arm..until Gina came into my room, that is.

~Ginas POV~
(QR-Why am i even going to read this? QT-Cause it's part of the story! So read it!! '_'+)
Yay!! Shopping was so fun! I had grandma buy me this cute little corset! It was pink with white lace, and of course it was so sexy on me! And grandma says its too revealing! Too bad Kit didn't come. 'I have a lesson with a student' she says! Besides, I would have just embarrassed her at the mall with all the cute boys!
I skipped into the house with my shopping bags. It seemed too quiet in here. "Hello! Anybody home?" I asked, wondering if she heard me or not. No answer. Probably not. Oh well. Looks like I might be able to crash her room, I replied happily as I drop my bags on the couch.
Bounding up the stairs, I excitedly turned right and down the hall where her room was. I stopped and put my ear against the door, you know, just curious. "Great, this is the last one" I heard a mutter coming from the other side. So she was here, that little bitch! Not saying hi or anything. So I decided to surprise her, a bit. When I opened the door, I heard her say, "I know you're there Gina, and I also know that you're not supposed to be in my room." Damn. I've been found out. Either way, I just walked in.

~Kits POV~
"I know youre there Gina, and I also know that youre not supposed to be in my room", I said, hoping that she would leave me alone to attend the spirit detective. But I was in vain for she just walked into my room, thinking that she owned this place. "So this is where you went to", she said, in her snobby voice of hers.
"Yes, this is where I went to Gina", I replied curtly. I hope she wont ask what I was doing. Unfortunately, she saw the spirit detective, for her eyes lit up with joy. Oh no.
"Ooh, a boy! Whats a boy doing in your room?!" she asked, or demanded, as she tried to make a mad dash to him, but only to be held back by me. "He's hurt Gina, so we have to give him some rest until he wakes up", I told her, pushing her out of my room. I quickly exited the room, and locked before Gina could make a grab at the doorknob. I turned to Gina and said, "Dont you have homework to do? I do believe that we got homework in Math, English, and Science", smirking playfully as she huffed and went to her room, slamming the door behind her.
Chuckling to myself, I went downstairs to be greeted by my grandmother. "Hello dear", she said, her face plastered with a kind smile. "Hello grandmother", I replied, bowing slightly to her. Chuckling, grandmother nodded her head to the kitchen. "Were you going to make lunch Kit?" Then it dawned on me. "Oh! I totally forgot! I'll get to it right away! With the way shopping went, something tells me that you had no time for lunch, am I correct?" I asked, picking up the pots and pans that were on the floor, and putting them away.
"Correct as ever", grandmother remarked, smiling brightly at me. Putting on an apron, I asked, "What would you like grandmother?" Closing her gray eyes, she replied with a smile, "I would like a spinach casserole." "Okay. One spinach casserole coming right up!" While preparing the dish, I realized that Gina wouldn't eat this stuff, so while the casserole was cooking in the oven, I prepared a strawberry smoothie for her. As soon as the timer went off, I rushed to take the casserole out to let it cool.
I poured the smoothie into a glass and walked upstairs and turned left, as that was where Gina's room was. I knocked on the door and heard, "What do you want?" "Heres your smoothie Gina. Ill just leave it by the door for you to get it", I said, putting the glass by the door and leaving quickly to the stairs, as I did not want to see too much pink, and unfortunately, her entire room was pink. Arriving to the kitchen, I cut up the casserole, put a piece onto a plate, and handed it to grandmother along with a cup of tea. While cutting up a piece for myself, I heard grandmother say, "While youre at it, you can take a piece up to that young man in your room." I grinned. She as was sharp as ever. Well, that's what you get when you have a grandms that used to work for Koenma.
So I cut two pieces, put them onto a tray along with two cups of tea, and made my way up to my room. Opening the door, I made my way to his bed, only to see that his eyes were open and staring at the ceiling.

~Kuramas POV~
(Sorry, he might sound a bit mushy, but hey he is injured!) What do mean by that? (Just read it!)
Opening my eyes, all I saw was dark blue. Wait, dark blue? At that moment, I heard the sound of a door opening, and footsteps coming towards me. "I see you're awake now", I heard a quiet but beautiful voice say. I tilted my head to see a girl with long brown hair with blue streaks flowing through it like water, and strong, but soft gray eyes staring at me with kindness. She looked pretty close to my height, except maybe a bit shorter, She was wearing I think a dress the color of faded blue, almost a stormy color. Taking a closer look at what she was holding in her hands, there were two cups and two plates with some food on top of a tray.
There was a smile on her face as she placed the tray on the table next the bed I was laying on."You must be hungry" she said as she put the plate on my lap. I eyed her suspiciously. I had no idea where I was, who she was, and what happened. As if reading my mind, she then said,"Youre in my room, which this is my grandmothers house. My name is Kit Landers. When I found you, you had many wounds, some which almost seemed fatal." "Where exatcly am I?" I asked before taking a bite. To my surprise, it tasted really good. She chuckled. Even her laughter sounds beautiful, like bells chiming. "You're in Niigata."

Okay, since Kurama is in Niigata, what now? If you want to know, then wait for the next part! And no Kurama pic this time. Sorry!
