Memo^^^
On with the Story vvv
You awoke on the next day, and immediatley remembered that today was the day of the Second Task. You sprang out bed and went to your trunk grabbed a pair of jeans, a sweater, mittens, and your Gryffindor scarf. You went over to your mirror and put on your normal make up, deoderant and perfume but then grabbed orange and red eyeliner and wrote 'Go Harry!' on your cheeks. You walked down to the Common Room to see a few people who woke up excited for the Task. You saw that Harry wasn't donwn there yet so you decided to trot yourself up to the Boy's Dormitory to see if he was awake. You saw only a few boys remained in the dormitory and were all up and about. Mostly getting ready to go downstairs. You observed that Harry remained the only one still in bed. You sat softly onto his bed, careful not to wake him. You looked around and saw that all the boys had left. You looked down apon Harry's sleeping face. Your eyes gazed apon every one of his features. His lips his nose. His eyelids which you knew were closed apon a pair of amazingly emerald eyes. You gently brushed some hair from his face that covered his lightening bolt scar on his forehead. You looked apon it for awhile before Harry finally began to stir. He opened his eyes sleepily then shut them again slowly, and smiling.
"There's an angel watching over me." he murmered.
"Good Morning Mr. Champion." you said placing your hand on his.
He groaned and opened his eyes." I really have to do this huh."
"Yes, Harry you've already fought a Dragon... you can do this." you said.
"I hope so." he said sounding defeated.
Ten minutes later and you and Harry made your way down to the Common Room. When you and Harry emerged from the stairs the Common Room erupted into applause for Harry. You grabbed his hand and squeezed it. You looked at Harry you was looking around the room. You knew he was looking for Ron, and Hermione, but as you looked around you couldn't find them either. You figured they had gone down to breakfast. You walked down to the Great Hall for breakfast and to try to find Ron and Hermione.
"Where are they?" Harry asked anxiously.
"I dunno, Harry you need to eat." you urged him.
He took a bite of toast and continued to look around for his two best friends. You knew there probably wasn't anything you could do to calm his nerves.
"Potter, you need to make your way down to the Second Task, for your briefing."Said Professor McGonagal.
Harry nodded and stood. "You coming?" he asked holding out his hand.
You jumped up and grabbed his hand.
He was quite most of the way down to the Task area. Slowly the Champion's Tent came closer and closer. You stopped a few feet from it and turned to face Harry, taking both of his hands in yours.
" I love you. Good luck."
"Where could they be?" he asked. You didn't take this as an insult that he was asking about Ron and Hermione instead of returning the sentiment. You knew he was only nervous and wanted to see his friends.
"They probably just wanted to get a really good seat." you said rubbing his arms trying to comfort him.
"From behind Harry's head came a voice.
"Ahhh Potter, just in here if you please." You looked to see the person to whom the voice belonged to. It was Barty Crouch.
You looked back at Harry and hugged him tightly and whispered in his ear:" I love you, be careful, good luck." and kissed his cheek. Harry turned and walked into the tent. You started walking to the lake where the task was to take place. It was just then that you realized that you had a dull headache. You figured it was just nerves for Harry. You entered the crowd of people gathered to watch the task and continued to look for Ron, and Hermione. You finally saw a farmillar figure. A gigantic figure... or well...a larger than the average man-sized figure.
"Hi Hagrid." you said standing next to him. Being only 5'1'' you came up to about his mid-stomach.
"Oh, Emmy dinnit' see you there! How are yeh?" Hagrid asked.
"I'm good, but ermm..hows the erm... egg?" you said quietly.
"Its good... I reckon it'll be erm... cracking open any day now." Hagrid said trying not the sound too obvious.
"Let me know when it does will you?" you asked.
"O' course, o'course.. by tha way.. I talked to Professor Dumbledore, and he agreed to let you keep it.. as long as I help you with it and we get some help from Ron's brother Charlie, Charlie said this type o' dragon doesn't get as big as some o' the others so we can keep it here in tha forest." Hagrid said.
"Oh Hagrid, have you seen Ron and Hermione?" you asked him suddenly remembering.
"Here? No I haven't.. but if I do..I'll let 'em know you're lookin' for 'em." he said.
"Thanks a lot."you replied and continued looking around until you heard Ludo Bagman's magically magnified voice announce the start of the Task. You watched Harry shove something into his mouth and begin chewing furiously as he starting walking into the Great Lake. You panicked a minute as you watched him grab his neck with a look of intense pain on his face but then dive under water and disapeer. You watched the water nervously. The minutes past by and you did not break your eye contact with where Harry had disapeered into the dark waters.
Longer still, and no Harry. You were beginning to get more and more nervous by each passing minute. Suddenly you saw the head and arms of Fleur. Her face and arms were scratched and she looked horrified. She practically was sobbing as she climbed ashore. The sight of her horrified and sobbing face just intensified your fear for Harry. It was announced that she had to leave the Task because she had been attacked by Grindylows.
Minutes were still passing until you saw the head and arms of Cedric Diggory and a female who you recognized as Cho Chang. You gasped. That was it! They had to save their best friends or the person they cared for the most from the Lake. But who did Harry have to save? Ron or Hermione.. or both... surely not both... how could he help two people from the depths of the Lake... that would be truly unfair. Screams of delight erupted from the students of Durmstrang as you saw Krum emerge from the water with a girl... who was the girl... you looked carefully and saw that it was Hermione! Hermione? That didn't make sense... well then Harry must have to save Ron... he should be coming sometime soon- you thought.
Still minutes passed... where was he... why was he taking so long. An hour had past and still no Harry..surely they wouldn't let him drown. Dumbledore wouldn't let him drown...would he. Then you saw it. First the red hair of Ron and then the silver blonde hair of another girl... but where had she come from...and where was Harry... the only way Ron could have been saved was from Harry, but he wasn't there with Ron. You looked back at the water watching Ron help the little girl swim to shore where Fleur was yelling to her. She must have been the one Fleur had failed to save. With a huge wave of relief you saw Harry's head emerge from the water. As he swam to shore you ran to meet him. He collapsed onto the shore breathing heavily. You wrapped a towel around him and kissed him.
"You scared me." you said half crying half laughing.
"I scared myself a little bit..." he said in between breaths.
The scores were announced and Harry placed second you cheered with him and Ron and Hermione. You started walking back to the Common Room, with a now dry, Ron, Harry and Hermione when Harry was called back to the Tent. You continued walking to the Common Room, your headache had intensified now that the rush from the Task was over. You figured you'd celebrate with Harry after he had spent time with Ron and Hermione.But for now you needed to get some where quiet to try to get rid of this pounding headache and feeling that something was about to happen that would change your life forever.
