We don't miss a thing.
Naomi's father, Tom, looked up at her, hesitantly, "Naomi, we your mother and I, well, we"
"What your dad is trying to say is that we've decided to get a divorce," her mother, Judy, said, professionally, as if Naomi where no more than one of her clients.

Most kids who heard that would think it the worst news they ever heard, but Naomi wasn't that nave. Naomi had known for years that her parents weren't faithful to each other.
Sure they would take that annual trip to Europe together, but what really was happening was Tom would fly to New York and Judy to someplace exotic.
So the divorce didn't take a real big effect on her as her parents thought it should, she knew it was coming. Yes, she wondered what finally set it off, 'cause people like the Parkers never got a divorce. They where the kinda people who liked to pretend they had the perfect family, what a lie.
Naomi took a seat at the edge of the pool, letting her feet dangle into the cool water. She took a swing of the beer she had stolen from the fridge a few minutes ago, and silently wondered what Rory was doing.
"When are you going to tell her?" asked the voice of her mother from the dinning room.
Naomi took a sigh, wondering what poor child got Judy as their shrink now.
"I was going to tell her when JoJo came in from New York," Tom replied, coolly.
Naomi tensed, that wasn't a good sign, her father was supposed to be in a motel.
"Oh, so talented she had to be named twice," Judy snapped, sarcastically. "Now tell me how you're going to tell Naomi, that she has not one upcoming sibling, but a two year old sister?"
Naomi suddenly grew cold, she stood shakily. There must be some mistake, her mother didn't just say that she had two half siblings.
"Well, that's none of your business now is it?" Tom snapped.
Naomi let the cold beer slip through her fingers and crash to the patio. She took that opportunity to bolt through the kitchen and up the stairs to her bedroom.

You made yourself a bed

a week later
Naomi flipped thru the channels of the TV, her father was in New York, visiting JoJo. She hadn't talked to Rory since that phone call right after she found out about her father's new family.
There was a knock on the door, Naomi sighed and got up to answer it. What she found was the biggest surprise ever.
"Hello Naomi!" Hayden, greeted, leaning heavily on crutches.
Naomi looked at Rory, Chase and Hayden on her doorstep.
"Um, hey, guys," Naomi replied, confusedly, "aren't you supposed to be on tour?"
"Yah, well, that's a funny thing..." started Chase before he was interrupted by Hayden.
"Hey, look at the pretty flowers!" Hayden squealed, before burrowing his nose in one of Naomi's mother's roses.
"Okay," Rory replied, looking a little worried about Hayden's mental state, "well, what Chase was saying, was the reason we cut the tour short was..."
"OWIE!" Hayden squealed, causing them to jump in alarm, "it pricked me!" he pouted, showing them his finger as it welled with blood.
"Do you need a band-aid?" Naomi asked as if Hayden where one of the children she babysat.
Hayden put the finger in his mouth all the while nodding, slowly.
"Alright," Naomi led the troop into her living room, before she went into the kitchen to get a box of band-aids.
She came back into the living room, threw the box at Hayden before turning back to Rory and Chase, "Okay, what where you two saying, before Hayden so rudely interrupted?"
"Oh, he just doesn't want us tell you that he..." Chase began before, once again, he was interrupted by Hayden.
"This stinking thing won't open! RORY!" Hayden emitted from where he was, on the couch, wrestling with the wrapper over the band-aid.
Rory grabbed the band aid ripped it open and handed it to Hayden.
"Okay, well, like I was saying, he was in the..." Chase started again, and from the looks of it, if Hayden so much as said a syllable Chase would be on him. Rory didn't seem to share her boyfriend's point of view; she seemed to be thinking Hayden's behavior amusing.
"Hey! Dude, 'I Love the 90's' is on!" Hayden exclaimed, excitedly, not aware that his life may be in danger.
Chase glared at the back of Hayden's head for a moment, before making a move to say something and was interrupted, but this time from Naomi.
"By God, it's short attention span theater! Hmm, is that a chicken?" Naomi teased.
Rory laughed, and joined in, "It looks like chicken, smells like chicken, it must be chicken."
"I'm Chicken Man! Able to leap chicken coops in a single bound, the hens love me," Hayden piped out, doing his best superman pose with crutches, but he ended up losing one of his crutches and having to a balancing act.
"No, I'm Chicken Man!" argued Chase, playfully, "you're Sewer Boy."
"Oh, yah," Hayden said, as if forgetting something, but he soon shook it off, "It's the Adventures of Chicken Man and Sewer Boy!"
"Sewer Boy?" Naomi asked, turning to Rory.
"It's part of the story," she exclaimed.
"Okay, well," Naomi started, turning to Hayden, who was trying to pick up his lost crutch without falling on his face, "I want to hear this, so if there is any interruptions, I have a roll of duck tape in the pantry, and I'm not afraid to use it."
Hayden gave her a worried look before loosing his balance and falling on his face.
Naomi turned back to Rory, "Okay, while he's down, tell me the story."
Rory gave her a smile before starting, "Okay, you see, my father told Chase that we could have the whole day to ourselves..."
"Well, actually, no," Chase corrected her, as he helped his fallen comrade, "I asked your father for the day, while he was busy yelling at Hayden."
"Alright, well, anyway," Rory continued, "we got the day to ourselves. Unknowing, to the fact we had spies on our hand," she said, pointing a glare at Hayden, who hung his head shamefully.
"Okay, but how did Sewer Boy hurt his ankle?" Naomi asked, curiously.
"Well, you see," Chase chipped in, "while we where at the beach, I saw a strange figure in the bathroom window, so I decided to check it out; only to find Hayden and a friend from another band in one of the bathroom stalls."
"Oh, man, and did that bathroom stink too!" Hayden said, making a face as if only mentioning brought back the smell.
"Yah, it did, anyway, I spooked them, Hayden fell from the toilet..." Chase continued, as soon as Chase said the word toilet, Hayden reddened, noticeably.
"Wait, he was on the toilet?" Naomi asked, more than a little confused.
"Yah, he was standing on it so he could look out the window, but, as I was saying, he got his foot caught in the toilet as he fell on his face, into a pile of puke," exclaimed Chase.
"And Sewer Boy is what the ambulance driver called him as they drove him to the hospital," Rory said.
"He had to go to the hospital for getting his foot caught in a toilet?" Naomi asked.
"Not really, since it was just a sprain," Rory explained.
"Badly sprained," Hayden put his two cents in.
