[Uchiha Sasuke] .:You're Not Alone:. [Oneshot \ SongFic]

Wow that took a while... kind of... Oh well. This was a requested oneshot for QuidditchGirly11 and her OC Ami. Hope you like it! I will never do a request again though... it was hard... And also, the banner and backround pics show Shippuuden. It's not Shippuuden, those pics just fit. Thank you Brit for the banner!

[Uchiha Sasuke] .:You're Not Alone:. [Oneshot]

Sasuke crouched down by a small stone. His solemn expression remained vacant as the shadows of the tree danced along his face. Like the others in the vast green field, it was a curved leaf shape and through the veins of the large, life-like leaf, were the names of some Uchiha resident. The surviving Uchiha traced his pale fi ngertips along their names. He stood and coninued to look, look for his parent's names.
~*~ - ~*~

That's just like him.
To wander off in the evergreen park.
Slowly searching.
For any sign of the ones he used to love.

~*~ - ~*~

Surrounding him otherwise, was the shrine infront of the site. It was as large as a tree and gliscened in the light of the strong summer-time sun. The large hunks of hard granite had been carved into a Konoha symbol. The spiral shape did not resembel a leaf at all, however, much like the KIA shrine, it beheld the names of every dead Uchiha. And Uchiha symbol rest at the top of the Konoha one.
"The graveyard I stand in... It's so nicely kept... Why?" Sasuke asked, to himself mainly.
Graveyard's weren't supposed to be nice and inviting, right? This one was kept better than his own home. You could mistake it for a horse riding train and use the stones as jumps! That wasn't what graveyards were about. Not at all.
Sasuke sighed and took another look at the tomb before taking his leave. He did it rather quickly too. The place was nice, none-the-less, dead bodies lie underneath the trimmed grass.
On his way a crack sounded in the distance. Sasuke quickly glanced over his shoulder to view the last streak of that particular bolt. It wasn't that far away now that he looked at it. His hair whipped in the strong wind being reached by the aftermath of it.
"Isn't that just like everything else? It's there for a moment then disperses into the earth as we know it. What's the point," Sasuke sighed. He continued on.
~*~ - ~*~

He says he's got nothing left to live for.
(He says he's got nothing left)
And this time I think you'll know.

~*~ --- ~*~

The girl in the trees watched the saddened Uchiha pass through. She squinted to get a better image, able to see that he was definetly leaving, for a while too.
As another bit of lightning made contact a small distance away, Ami's short ocean blue hair crossed her face, making all sorts of lines in the wind mixed with the electric current. Her lips remained pursed and her eyes snapped shut to avoid debris getting into her light orbs. One of her slender hands still remained clamped with a strong hold onto the feeble branch so that she wouldn't fall out of the tree and risk being seen. Even though the branch wasn't strong, she used chakra to give it a 'boost'. Ami's dark green kimono also flitted in result of the blast, appearantly that one was a little closer than she had thought.
She watched the Uchiha flee the area, him being completely unaware of her presence.
"As usual," she jumped down, happy to be at least stabily on ground again.
Ami walked over to the gravesite, her eyes locking with each of the stones. The sadness within her eyes was quickly replaced with happiness to be in such a wonderful and serene place. The soft thunders continued to move closer, with each one came a louder noise than the last. Ami sighed, she'd have to clean up faster.
~*~ - ~*~

You're not alone,
There's more to this I know.
You can make it out,
You will live to tell.

~*~ - ~*~

Ami hummed lightly as she wiped off the stones with cloth. She rubbed the cloth in a small container full of some sticky cleaner and returned to her work. She concentrated mainly on the one stone that had the names practically ground to dust. She knew why. But she wouldn't tell.
Ami grinned sadistically, grabbing a kunai and trimming the grass around the gravestone much like someone would peel an apple with the knife. The one that used to read Uchiha Mikoto and Fugaku. She couldn't help but grin again. It wasn't clear why she was doing it or why she wasn't. The pain the Uchiha felt day after day looking for the particular stone brought her so much joy, being able to spy on him. And take care of his family. It also made her seem obssessive.
Wasn't that something Sasuke may do though? If you want something, you'll usually go pretty far to get it.
Both of them were pretty fortunate. For a while at least. Now only one's fortune remained. Ami sometimes found herself doubting it to remain but that usually failed. Optimistic as she was, she couldn't let things as silly as that get to her.
Doing this was the only thing she did that would disobey her parents. Always kept inside, Ami had been told so much, so many wonderful, articulate and beautiful lies. Ami was still trying to find resolutions to those lies. Answers, persay.
~*~ - ~*~

She's just like him,
Spoiled rotten, confused by the lies shes been fed.
Shes searching for no one. (But herself)
Her eyes turn to green and she seems to be happy that she is her.
And this time I think you'll know.

~*~ --- ~*~

Sasuke lay unflinching in the middle of the path. Everytime. Everytime he searched, he kept receiving nothing no information. The best thing he could do at this point is pray by the grave of his own parents.
He couldn't even find the grave.
This made Sasuke feel pathetic. Sasuke was disgusted. In himself, in everyone. He felt so alone just sitting there. Like there was no one even like him. He had his life handed to him on a golden plate them had that plate melted in the fire of his brother.
No one could understand that. No one could feel his pain.
Sasuke got up, turned a heel and ran. He was going to find the tomb, weather it took him a few minutes, or a few years.
~*~ -- ~*~

Ami stood up and examined the Uchiha grave. She was still happy with it. Even through the selfishness of scratching out the names.
Sighing, she let herself roll over and lay still, ignoring the crackle of lightning.
~*~ -- ~*~

Sasuke was just inches away from the large red authentic gate that acted as an entrance to the unknown area.
Stepping into it, Sasuke did a quick scan of the first half of them. Most of the stones were old and some even eroded from time. It's amazing what not even a decade can do.
Just before he reached the second half of the graveyard, Sasuke noticed a figure.
~*~ -- ~*~

Ami froze. She could sense chakra. That was one of the things she was good at anyway. Some told her it was her only talent, of coarse that wasn't all though.
Ami winced at all the possibilities of who could be there. There was only one possibility. But then again, it was only a percentage of about... 45%. She was smart, her deductive abilities reigned over many. That was her second talent. She was there to sense enemies and figure out who it could be. But enough of that, Ami thought to herself about the percentage number.
Though it was less than half, it was still big. Even 6 or 7 percent was good because of the number of people in Konoha. But how many really knew about this spot? That was what made the percentage rise. There was even a chance it could be the Hokage.
The scolding was probably the thing the girl was most afraid. If it were her parents, which was a 15% chance, they... she didn't even want to think. The reason they probably knew about it was because of their predomanant places in the village. They more likely than not sent out spies to watch her then went everywhere she did. Being the way she was had its consequences.
And if it was Sasuke...
~*~ -- ~*~

As he drew closer, he began to pick up on the figure's shape. No colors were visible yet but he had his guesses.
Sasuke's steps became more slow as he neared, making sure he had thought things out correctly.
He hadn't.
What if the person was an outsider or enemy?
How could he have been so careless?
~*~ -- ~*~

The chances were so random but consistant as well. There was a small percentage that it was an enemy, 7%. But each time the person took a step, those chances suddenly dropped. He/She was walking too slow. In a curious demeaner. That eliminated the chance of the Hokage and made the chances of an animal rise.
The chances of Sasuke remained.
"Who are you?"
Ami closed her eyes, now that he had finally said something, that narrowed it down to a few things. The sterness was an enormus amount. An enemy wouldn't ask a question like that unless they were Naruto-like. Enemy chances were now 3%.
The voice was male eliminating her mother, she knew her mother's voice. Parent was now at 0.3% and dropping.
Normalanimals don't talk, 0.001% hey, summonings were out there. Most of them can talk.
Ami didn't quiet have the time though to go through the possibilities of just about every known person in Konoha.
"Do I have to repeat myself?"
Sasuke... 75%.
"No," Ami hissed, annoyed with her inturruption.
The storm was drawing closer anyway.
It was a child's voice, parent's a big no and that made Sasuke in particular rise.
"Sasuke, ne?"
May as well ask.
"I'm not obliged to answer that, what are you doing here. And who are you." It wasn't a question, it was a demand.
"If you're not obliged than neither am I." She spat back.
Sasuke smirked at the challenge, and charged at her.
Ami ducked and hid behind the gravestone.
Sasuke stopped and stared at the stone, his face becoming dark, cinical. He glanced upwards, his eyes crimson. The raven-haired boy wasn't stupid. Quiet the opposite. His glare became intense at the front of the stone.
"Finally... I found it..."
And electric blue current soared through the air towards the tree sitting a couple feet from the stone. Ami jumped about three feet in the air but soon fell along with Sasuke. The endous current from the blast tore through the tree and smashed into the ground. Smaller currents vibrated off the bark and off Sasuke and Ami. The jolt made them shudder in amazement and pain.
"Why, why did you hide it from me?! Why were you here? Wh--"
"Sasuke-kun! You're not alone in this world! Don't you realize that!? There is more to this life than simple things, Sasuke-kun. See the big picture!"
~*~ - ~*~

You're not alone.
There is more to this I know,
You can make it out,
You will live to tell.
You're not alone.
There is more to this I know,
You can make it out...
(There is more to this)

~*~ - ~*~

"What big picture," Sasuke scoffed, "All I see is pain."
"But that's not true. You know that you have your friends, Sasuke-kun."
Sasuke turned away from Ami and slid his back down the stone so that he was on the other side from her.
"Everyone's alone in this world. There's no denying it. There's no point to our lives. We just sit here, kill, take and breath."
Ami thought hard for the selection of words to speak. She could say so many things to make the situation worse and not many to make it any better. If it could get any better.
"That's not true," was all she could manage to say.
"Prove it." Sasuke grunted.
"We love we lust and we enjoy life... sometimes."
"And we are left heartbroken."
"We enjoy memories." Ami whispered in rebuttal.
"They fade."
"True memories stay."
"They're enngulfed by the bad ones."
"Okay... how about the fact that we always find something to enjoy?" Ami asked questioningly.
"It slips out of your grasp as quickly as it got there."
"Why are you so negative!?" Ami burst out.
"I have nothing left."
Ami stood up in rage, "There are people who suffer as well, Sasuke-kun! You're not alone! I suffer, Naruto suffers, Kakashi, Tsunade, everyone! Is that so hard to understand?! You need to take your brain out of your ass and use it! We're not alone! You and I alike! Say it to me! Tell me that you're not alone! Admit it!"
The aqua-haired girl stood up and kicked the headstone as she walked away, slowly.
~*~ - ~*~
We're not alone,
There is more to this I know.
You can make it out,
You will live to tell.
(So tell me)
You're not alone,
There is more to this I know.
You can make it out,
You will live to tell.

~*~ - ~*~

"Fine."
Ami stopped and turned around, a smirk planted on her face. All was going well. She walked briskly back to the Uchiha, waiting for him to utter the words she had been waiting for.
"I'm not... alone..."
Ami smiled and hugged him, "Nobody is, Sasuke."
Sasuke stared at the ground, his face somewhat blank. Ami smiled to herself and gave him a light punch on the shoulder.
"Besides, it took you long enough."
Sasuke returned the favor with a latent smirk, "Shut up."
~*~ - ~*~
You're not alone,
You're not, you're not... alone.

~*~ - ~*~

...
Yeah, requests aren't that fun...
Yay happy~ish endings...
