"So, we REALLY need somewhere to stay until the house is built," Keara finished. Tsunade nodded.
"I'm too busy to heal Hotaru-san right now, but I think I can find somewhere you can stay for a while. There are some jounin in the village who I'm sure have some extra room. I'll see what I can do, alright?"
Keara bowed.
"Thank you Tsunade-sama!!"
"Come back in an hour, okay?? And here's some money to go get a meal," Tsunade handed Keara some paper bills, and Keara thanked her, pulling Hotaru out of the room behind her.
The two girls wandered around, looking for a place to get some food.
"Can we go get some ramen?" Hotaru asked.
"*sighs* We don't have enough money to pay off your debt AND get some food. Maybe another time, okay??" Keara smiled. Hotaru nodded and followed Keara to another restaurant.
=== 1 hour later ===
"I found someone willing to let you stay with them. Actually he was the first one who volunteered..." Tsunade trailed off, as Keara and Hotaru listened raptly. Suddenly, the door to the office burst open, revealing a strange man in green spandex, with orange arm and leg warmers and a jounin vest. (Are the chuunin and jounin vests the same?? Cuz they sure look like it -_-)
"My name is Gai and I am here to escort you two wonderful young ladies to your new living quarters for however long it takes for your wonderful house to be built!!!" Gai strikes a pose, sparkles floating around his head.
We have to live with him?!?!
Hotaru and Keara stared wide-eyed at the strange man.
"Uhmm... hello..." Keara blinked.
"Come!!" Gai said enthusiastically, grabbing Hotaru and Keara by the arms and dragging them out of the office.

I swear, if I have to listen to him talk about 'youth' ONE more time, I am going to blast a hole through his stupid head!!!
Hotaru glared silently at Gai who was ranting on about his students again.
Keara and Hotaru had only been staying with Gai for about two days, and they already wanted to leave.
"And of course, the power of yout-"

Gai looked around the room to see that both girls had left, right in the middle of his monologue.
"Tsunade-sama, you have got to get us somewhere else to stay!!! PLEASE!!! He is driving us up the wall!! I swear, if I have to listen to him monologue ONE more time, I'm gonna do something drastic!!!" Hotaru exclaimed. Tsunade sighed.
"I'll try... but I can't make any promises,"
"What's the problem??"
Hotaru and Keara turned around to the door of the office to see a grey-haired man with a face mask and his headband pulled over his left eye standing in the doorway.
"Kakashi. You're late. As usual," Tsunade said, referring to the man now identified as Kakashi.
"Well, you see, a black cat crossed my path and-"
"It doesn't matter," Tsunade sighed, "The problem is that Keara-san and Hotaru-san don't have anywhere to stay while they're house is being built,"
"And we refuse to stay another day at Gai's house," Keara added. Kakashi chuckled.
"Well, I do have a couple extra rooms in my apartment... I suppose you could stay there for a while,"
"REALLY?! THANK YOU!!" both girls jumped up, but Hotaru fell over dizzily. Everyone stared at her.
"She has a concussion..." Keara said, breaking the silence and answering the question she knew everyone was thinking.
=== LATER ===
"Now Hotaru, you will be a little drowsy, so take these pills," Tsunade instructed after healing Hotaru of her concussion. Hotaru nodded, and swallowed the pill with some difficulty, downing a glass of water immediately after.
"Blech..." she made a face, and Tsunade laughed.
"I know it tastes awful, but it'll help, I promise," she reassured. Hotaru gave her a sceptical look, but shrugged it off.
A few minutes passed as Keara, Hotaru and Tsunade discussed some things.
Suddenly, Hotaru jumped up yelling, "GIANT WAFFLES ARE GOING TO EAT US AAAAAAAAAAAAALL!!! WE'RE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!"
Keara and Tsunade stared at Hotaru in surprise as she burst into a giggle fit. Hotaru starts running around in circles, screaming 'wheeeeeee!!!' at the top of her lungs.
She runs out of the office, and Keara races after her hyped-up friend.
Eventually, everyone was trying their hardest to keep Hotaru in the village, as she kept trying to run out of the gates, even though Keara seemed to be the only one who knew why.
"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FLYING PIIICKLES!!!"
"Taru-chan!!! Come back here!!!"
"NEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"
Hotaru managed to jump over the gate of Konoha, finally escaping.
"Dammit!!" Keara muttered, jumping over the gate after her.
"Sorry!!! We'll be back soon!!!" she yelled over her shoulder to the guards.
Following the sounds of Hotaru's insane laughter, Keara pursued her friend.
After about 3 hours of non-stop running, Keara stopped to take a breather.
"She... has... too much... energy..." she panted.
"Whaddya mean I'm not allowed in?!?! RAAAAAWR!!!!"
Keara sighed, and ran toward the sound of Hotaru's shouting. She walked up to Hotaru and placed her hand on her shoulder. Hotaru was arguing with the guards to Suna.
"Here. My passport and hers," Keara handed over the necessary papers to the guards. They looked the papers over, and handed them back.
"Alright, you can go in,"
The gate opened, and both ninjas walked into the city.
"You know, I've never been to Suna before..." Keara admitted, laughing lightly.
"It's nice, isn't it Kea-chan?? It's where I was born!!" Hotaru grinned cheekily.
"I know, you told me before," Keara laughed.
"Oooooo!! I wonder if we'll get to see my old friends!!! I haven't talked to them in sooooooo long!!!" Hotaru gushed. She rushed forward, not looking where she was going, and walked straight into someone, knocking them and herself to the ground.
"Oooowww... Ohmigawd, I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was walking!!" Hotaru jumped to her feet and offered the girl a hand.
"Yeah yeah, just don't do it again," the girl grumbled, letting Hotaru help her up. She had a huge fan strapped to her back, and her blonde hair was in four pigtails.
"... Temari-chan, is that you??" Hotaru asked cheerfully.
"Hotaru-chan??" the girl asked in response.
"Ohmigawd, I haven't seen you in soooooooo long!!!!!!" Hotaru exclaimed, hugging the girl. Temari hugged back, and they pulled back, grinning.
"Oh!! Kea-chan, this is my old friend Temari-chan!! Temari-chan, this is Kea-chan!!" Hotaru introduced the two.
"My full name is Keara, and it's a pleasure to meet you," Keara bowed politely.
"Same to you," Temari said.
"That who I think it is?"
Hotaru looked behind Temari and grinned.
"Kankurou!! Gaara-kun!! Hey guys!!" she waved enthusiastically.
"Yup, that's definitely you Hotaru. No one else I know is that hyper 24/7," Kankurou laughed.
Hotaru pouted.
"I resent that!!" she crossed her arms. Keara laughed at Hotaru's immaturity.
"Who's this??" Kankurou asked, pointing to Keara.
"Oh, right!!! This is Keara!! I call her Kea-chan," Hotaru grinned again. Keara bowed, as usual.
"It's very nice to meet you all," she smiled.
"The pleasure is all mine," Kankurou smirked.
THUMP
"Stupid Kanky," Hotaru mumbled, as Keara sweatdropped, looking at the nearly unconscious Kankurou on the ground.
"*sigh* I swear, I can NOT be related to him -_- he is too much of a loser," Temari shook her head.
"Tch. Idiot," Gaara grumbled. Hotaru walked over, and just randomly hugged him.
"Same old Gaa-kun," she grinned. Keara turned to Temari.
"Uhm... do they have a history or something??" she asked, and Hotaru turned red.
"KEA-CHAN!!!! >O< We do not!! Gaa-kun is my bestest buddy from Suna!!"
Keara and Temari laughed.
"I know, I'm just kidding," Keara snickered.
