I watched as he strode away, down the street. As he passed a flickering streetlight, I said more to myself than to him ",Goodnight."
Things were over, much to my dismay. He was the one

I was in a panic. It was my wedding day and also the end of my real life. I dragged my feet up down the hall, as I walked to open a letter I had just found in a recently delivered bouquet of flowers. As I took a seat, I noticed how familiar the writing of my name was to me.
"KARREN! WHERE ARE YOU, DEAR? WHY AREN'T YOU IN YOUR DRESS YET?! YOU HAVE 20 MINUTES BEFORE YOU HAVE TO BE OUT THERE," my mother screached down the halls of the cathedral.
I, however, was preoccupied. I sat, a chill running through my spinal chord. In my hand, I held a letter in which he bore out his soul to me.
Kare-bear;
I understand that I screwed up how and why things took a turn towards the worst for us. We used to compliment eachother like colors; we had everything going great for us.
I can't stand watching you in your faulty relationship as you make the biggest mistake of your life, as well as mine by not stopping you. Come back with me to the days when we both fit?
Back then, stars were brighter and seemed more so with every passing day. Now as I look up to the sky each and every night, while thinking of you, they seem dimmer with each and every passing second.
I'm done waiting for God's new plans; I've gone astray. I can see now that I rushed things, but will take things slower this time.
I promise.
Everyone deserves a second chance, agreed? Better late than never. I'm sorry.
Love,
Donnie

I thought that getting married would help me move on, but I was way wrong.
I ran through the halls, while realizing I was to be out at the alter in no more than 11 minutes. I raced down the stairs of the church after bursting through the enterance doors. I slowed at the stairs' end and stopped at the curb, where I found Donnie on his motorcycle. I smiled as my heart rate increaced.
"I didn't think you'd come," he said, softly.
"I didn't think you'd ask me to," I replied.
"What makes you so sure I've changed," he asked, not convinced.
"Everyone deserves a second chance," and with that, I hopped onto the motorcycle and held on tightly, as he drove down the street with speed and acceleration.
We still complimented eachother like colors in harmony; we made eachother look brighter like we did in the start.

PlayRadioPlay! Compliment Eachother Like Colors Lyrics
If we try hard enough I'm sure we could forget it
Cause this black-hearted wedding's enough to start a panic
We were clean for three days when you were running down the block
11 minutes sober now we're counting down the clock
And donnie says you're the reason we are here
And we all know that what donnie says is true
So go to bed this life is not a shameless waste
And we all know that's what it is to you goodnight
We will overcome every night to the sound of the kick drum
We've got it figured out every night to the sound of the break down
We can stand the street every night to the sound the breakbeat
I feel like my worn hands are empty waiting for God's new plans
Please darling can you lead way
My world was flipped now I have gone astray
Now it falls apart every night to the sight of the dim stars
I take it slow because I have time
Back to the days when you were mine
Back to this faulty relationship
Back to the days when we both fit
(in bkgrnd:)
Last time we returned to our old ways
What makes you think we'll change
PlayRadio taking the sound waves
The sound waves
Is this it or could we still compliment
eachother like colors in harmony that make
eachother look brighter like we did in the start
