But one thing always separated Kate from others. She possessed a keen yearning for fantasy, mystic, fairy tale; Fiction. Peyta had always subtly disregarded her friends imaginative, dreaming spirit, listening of course to those few stories which she keenly shared but ignoring her seemingly deluded comments regarding 'vampires' and other such creatures.
Much to the cliche's of common high school life, Kate and Peyta, despite their obvious 'nerd-like' believes, appearances and vocabulary, we're surprisingly popular. They both had an abundancy of friends between them both and lived simple yet adventurous lives which most teenagers experience and share. They we're consistently plagued by peer pressure, and the subtle influence of all things in the teenaged world; sex, drugs and alcohol.
Of course, with the characters both these two young ladies possessed, they did not give in to these... desires.
Both young girls had graduated at the age of 18. Both keen and eager, each holding their fair share of money, intrigue and plane tickets. The two girls had long since planned an 'adventure'. It had always been their dream to travel to a far off country, meet new people, party (safely of course) and live the typical teenaged fantasy.
Of course, it was down to Kate to choose their destination, and what better place then the infamous Transylvania.
And so the two beautiful, shy young girls filled with high hopes, laughs and happy dispositions would have their adventure, only it would be more real then either would have imagined.
