"What do you want for christmas?" asked your mother again as she continued cooking dinner. You looked at your mother for a second wondering why she kept on saying that, "I don't want a lot for Christmas, I just want Itachi to come back from his mission!" you replied turning to your twin brother. "Right, Sasuke?"
Your brother nodded agreeing with you, "Yeah, when will Itachi-oniichan come back?" he asked his mother, Mikoto.
Mikoto gave both of you a small smile, "Well, he's probably coming back soon." She replied, though by her voice you could tell that she wasn't too sure that Itachi would come back on Christmas.
You looked down sadly, "Why did Itachi had to go on that mission?" you mumbled as you started getting out the plates.
Sasuke looked out the window and then back to you, "Hikari, maybe . . . we could ask Shisui?" he suggested hoping that Itachi's friend will know something.
You nodded as you looked up. "Yeah, Shisui knows everything!"
Your father suddenly came in, "I don't know about that kids" he laughed ruffling both of your hair lightly.
"Father!" exclaimed Sasuke hugging his father. You also hugged your father as well. "Otoosan, do you know when Itachi comes back?" you asked him. "He's coming back today right?" you asked him hopefully. He had to come back today since tomorrow was Christmas.
Your father smiled, "he'll come back, don't worry. I've talked with the hokage, he told me that Itachi had finished his mission and is coming back home right now."
You jumped up and down, "Yes, thank you!!"
Sasuke smiled and sat down on the chair, but then frowned. "But what if he doesn't come back tomorrow? What if someone ambushed his team?"
You glared at your brother slightly, "Hey, don't think negative Sasuke!" you scolded your brother as you sat down next to him as well.
Both of your parents looked at each other and then laughed quietly, "Calm down kids, let's eat! Tomorrow is Christmas!" your father said excitedly.
You nodded, "Right! And Itachi is coming back home!" you said happily. "Itadakimasu!" you said and picked up your chopsticks and started eating your dinner.

After you ate dinner and was ready to sleep, Sasuke poked you getting your attention.
You turned around and sat up from your bed, "huh? What is it Sasuke?" you asked him.
"Look, it's Shisui!" he whispered as he opened his window quietly. "Let's ask him, he was probably in Itachis group!"
You rubbed your eyes, "I don't know . . . you ask him Sasuke, I'm too tired to get up from my bed" you yawned, though looked out the window anyway. There was Shisui walking down the snowy trail rather quickly.
You pushed Sasuke away from the window sill. "Hey Shisui!" you shouted his name, getting his attention. "Did you get news about Itachi?"
Shisui turned his head abruptly; he smiled and waved his hand when he noticed it was only you. "Hey, Hikari!" he walked over to your house. "Itachi? Oh, he won't be coming back for a while; it looks like he's trapped in a snow storm." He replied sadly. "I'm sorry guys, you probably expected your brother to come back tomorrow."
You didn't know what to say, "What? Oniichan won't come back?!?" you asked him leaning out the window almost falling out.
"I knew he wouldn't come back" muttered Sasuke from behind you.
You turned to Sasuke, "He will come back, he has to!"
Sasuke shrugged, "Well, whatever you say sis" he said and then went back to his bed.
You looked at the night sky, Itachi, you're coming back to celebrate Christmas right?

You jolted up from your bed, remembering what Shisui had said last night. "Itachi! You better come back!" you growled under your breath. "It's not like you missing Christmas!"
Sasuke rubbed his eyes, rolling off from his bed. "Huh? What's today?" he mumbled asking no one in particular. You glanced over at your brother, "Baka its Christmas!" you said practically dragging your brother to the Christmas tree.
Sasuke smiled, "Right! It's Christmas!" he shouted pulling away from your grip. "Presents!" he ran to the tree almost knocking over.
You sweatdropped, and picked up a present box that said your name on it. But it's not like every other Christmas we had you thought sadly noticing that Itachi wasn't home yet.
You turned around hearing your parents coming into the room.
"Hey guys, what did you get for Christmas?" both of your parents asked you and Sasuke.
You hold up some kunai and shuriken sets, "These!" you said happily. You always wanted one since you never was good at aiming like your brother Itachi. You looked over at Sasuke, "what about you?"
"Well, I got this cool looking sword" he said holding the sword in the air with a smile on his face "And a shuriken holster."
You nodded, "Cool! But mine is better!" you showed him his kunai and shuriken set.
"No, mine is!" he retorted.
You stuck out a tongue but then started frowning, "I wonder when Itachi will come back" you said looking at your brother's unopened present. Sasuke also saddened his eyes, "I hope he comes back soon."

You and Sasuke were now dressed, but both of you didn't look too happy. You pouted and looked out the window, "Come on Sasuke, let's go and find Itachi!" you suggested heading towards the door while putting on your coat.
Sasuke nodded, "Yeah, we have to do something about it or else Itachi might never come back!"
You nodded, "Right, that's why we're going to find oniichan." You then opened the door and headed outside, your twin brother following you.

You screamed as a wet cold ice splattered across your face, "Sasuke! Stop it!" you shouted, but laughing. "We're supposed to be finding Itachi-oniichan!"
"That wasn't me Hikari!" replied Sasuke looking over to the person who had thrown the snow ball at you. "That was . . . Itachi!" he added running over to his brother.
You wiped the cold ice that was in your eyes; "huh?" you opened your eyes and slowly and like what Sasuke said Itachi was there right in front of the Uchiha gates. "Oniichan!" you shouted running over to your brother hugging him as well.
"You came back!! I thought you wouldn't come back!"
Itachi hugged both of his siblings, "Of course I would. What did you think I wouldn't come back?" he asked both of you.
"Well, Shisui said that you were stuck in a snow storm" replied Sasuke releasing the hug.
Itachi chuckled, "Shisui is over exaggerating, yeah I was stuck in a snow storm but it wasn't that bad to keep me from moving."
You smiled, "Come on let's tell everyone!" you grabbed both of your brothers hand and dragged them back to your house.

This is the best Christmas ever.

You looked out your window remembering your last Christmas with your whole family. It had past 6 years and everything seemed wrong without your family celebrating Christmas with you and Sasuke again.
But then, you never did celebrate Christmas after that. It was too painful to remember those memories again.
Those were the happy days and you would keep it to you safely.
You smiled to yourself and picked up a photo of Itachi and all of your clan. "Merry Christmas everyone."
