(Chapter XII Part I) The Mission
The next morning Maggie woke up at six. She got up and took a shower. She got dressed and went downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. She walked to the hokage's office and sat down in a chair to wait on her team. Tsunade was asleep at her desk again.
"Baa-chan, wake up," Maggie said.
She just stirred but didn't awake. Maggie got up and walked over to Tsunade. She shook her to wake her.
"Tsunade, wake up," Maggie said again, while shaking her.
Tsunade finally lifted her head.
"Huh?" she said.
"We have a mission today and you're asleep," Maggie said.
"Oh, yeah! Where is everyone else?" she asked.
"It's only six-thirty. We have half an hour left. Un!" Maggie said.
"Oh, okay," she said.
Tsunade put her head back on her desk and went back to sleep. Seven o'clock finally came around. There was a knock on the office door.
"Come in," Maggie yelled.
The door opened and in came Tay-sensei, Ayame, and Kyouya.
"How long have you been here?" Tay-sensei asked.
"Since yesterday after we went to get ramen," Maggie said sarcasticly.
Tay-sensei and Ayame just looked at Maggie.
"What?" she asked.
"She lives here," Kyouya said.
"Yeah! What he said. So stop looking at me like that," Maggie said. "Baa-chan, wake up," Maggie said shaking her again.
They stopped looking at her and looked at Tsunade. Tsunade finally woke up again.
"Huh?" she said.
"Wake up, Baa-chan. We have a mission to do," Maggie said.
"Oh, yeah! Here," she said, handing Tay-sensei a scroll. "You may go, now," she said replacing her head on her desk.
He took the scroll and they all left the office.
"So, what's the mission?" Kyouya asked.
"We have to escort a princess back to her home," Tay-sensei said.
"Really? Who's the princess?" Kyouya asked.
"Her name is Princess Fuku," Tay-sensei said reading the scroll. "We have to escort her back to her home before her wedding. It says that she got lost on the way back and she needs help in finding her way back. And if you fail this mission, you have to go back to the academy."
"No way I'm going back! I'll finish this mission easily," Kyouya said. "So, where is this princess?"
As soon as he asked that, a girl with long blonde hair and blueish eyes, came walking out of the Hokage's tower.
"Are you Team 13?" she asked.
"Yes, we are. And you must be Princess Fuku," Tay-senei said.
"Yes, I am," she said.
"Well lets start our mission to get you home, Miss Princess Fuku," Kyouya said.
"Oh, just call me Princess Fuku," she said.
They walked out of the gates and started the long journey to Princess Fuku's home land. They walked for hours only stopping for a short time. Tay-sensei was leading, Kyouya was next, then it was the princess, then Maggie, and Ayame was in the back. Maggie pulled out her mp3 player and listened to her music. Ayame was just walking and minding his own Emo business, and Kyouya was trying to talk to the princess. He was talking nonstop and the princess finally got tired of it. She hit him in the head and he slowed down.
"Ayame, would you trade places with me?" Kyouya asked.
"Why? Can't handle a girl?" Ayame asked.
"No, I just want to be in the back," he said.
"Fine," Ayame said.
Kyouya and Ayame switched positions. Ayame was behind Tay-sensei and Kyouya was behind Maggie. Maggie payed no attention to it. She just listened to her music and she was so into it, she started to sing to some of the songs. She started to sing to "Pain" by Three Days Grace. Kyouya was watching Maggie and listened to her sing. Maggie finally got the feeling that someone was staring at her and she turned around and saw Kyouya.
"Nani?" she asked.
"Nothing," he said.
Maggie turned back around and continued to listen to her mp3 player. She just ignored Kyouya. After a few more hours of walking, they finally took another break. Maggie sat on top of a tree and started to sing to another song. She started to sing to "Soul On Fire" by HIM. She felt someone sit beside her. She just ignored it and continued to sing to her song. After the song ended, she heard someone talking and pulled out her earphones and turned around. When she turned around, she saw Kyouya.
"Your singing is really awesome," Kyouya said.
"Kyouya, what are you doing up here?" Maggie asked.
"Sitting with you," he answered.
"Well, go away. I want to be alone," she said.
"Can't I be up here, alone, with you?" he asked.
"No," Maggie said.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because I want to be up her by myself," she said. "Now, go and leave me alone."
She pushed him off of the tree limb and he landed on his head. But because he had a hard head, he was fine. Maggie put her earphones back in and continued to listen to her music. After a few more seconds of resting, they continued on their mission. Hours later, it was starting to get dark.
"We should try and find a cave or some place to stay for the night. It looks like it's going to rain later," Tay-sensei said.
They split up and went to search for a place to stay for the night. Tay-sensei took the princess and Maggie suggested going by herself, that left Kyouya and Ayame searching together. Kyouya started to complain about wanting to go with Maggie. Maggie just dismissed it and started to walk off. She wasn't really looking for a place to stay, she was just listening to her mp3 player. She was listening to 'Butterfly' by Aqua and her mind wondered off to Shino.
'I wander what Shino-kun is up to, and Naruto-kun,' she thought. 'I miss them, and I just saw them yesterday.'
She continued to walk throught the forest until she found a cave hidden behind some bushes. She turned around and went to find the others and tell them that she found a place to stay for the night, and to keep out of the rain, but it didn't matter to her. She loved the rain. She turned around and went to search for her team.
The mission is boring. This story sucks.
Pretty good. Can't wait for part 2.
