"You will know when you see a true masterpiece . . It's not what you see but what it does to you."
"There you go miss" a woman with dark red hair gave a small doll to a little girl. "It's not much, but I hope you like it."
The little girl smiled, "Thank you! I love it!!" she hugged the small doll that the woman had given her. "Bye!" the girl waved her hand and ran off somewhere with her little present. The woman smiled as she put away her sowing kit.
This woman's name is Kawashi Ami. She thrives to work as a ninja but her heart goes to her art she loves to make.
Now I don't have anywhere to go again, I shouldn't have ran away from home. Maybe father was right . . . working as an artist is bad. Ami thought to herself looking down at the ground. She saw many people looking at her since she was wearing a black tattered jean and a long sleeved black shirt.
Ami sighed, I have to go and earn money again . . . it's so hard, no one wants me to work I wonder why. She looked up at the sky that was now dark, Is working as an artist that bad father?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Sasori nudged his blonde haired partner Deidara, waking him up from his dream. "It's time to wake up."
Deidara rubbed his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, I already know that, mmm" he mumbled getting up from the ground. He blinked a few times, "So, it's not that far away from Akagakure right?" he asked his partner after they walked a few minutes.
Sasori grunted as a reply, "Yeah and I've heard that Akagakure hates artists and their work" he added. He smirked under Hiruko, "I wonder if they will hate us."
Deidara shrugged, but was glaring towards the sky "Mmmm, I just want to teach those villagers that art is . . . a bang!! Mmm!" he shouted pumping his fist into the air.
Sasori shook his head, "I told you that art is eternal, and before you say something. Look" he said pointing at a figure coming towards them.
Deidara glanced at the figure and raised an eyebrow. "Based on that person's chakra . . . I don't think that person is a fighter. Shall we kill that person Sasori-danna?" he asked looking at Sasori to hear what his answer will be.
"We don't want to kill any more people to get attention, since it's not that far away from the village. We came here to steal a secret scroll, not to get attention" he replied.
Deidara raised an eyebrow, "I didn't want to kill anyway" he muttered hating the fact that Sasori was acting like a leader again . . . well practically he was. They neared the figure that was walking rather slowly. The person didn't seem to even notice them.
Suddenly the figure dropped to the ground. Sasori mumbled something and came closer to the figure. As he came closer he noticed that it was a woman with a Akagakure symbol printed on her bag. "Hmm . . . we could kill her Deidara. I suppose she hates artists like us" he said kneeling next to her. "Then she can be next collection."
"Un, but you said that we shouldn't kill people since we would get attention" reminded Deidara looking down at the girl with hate in his eyes.
"Hm? What's this?" asked Sasori picking up sketchbook that had apparently dropped from her bag. "It seems that she is an artist . . . a traitor I suppose?" mumbled Sasori looking at her artwork.
"Ahh, let me see Sasori-danna" Deidara said reaching for the sketch book.
"No, we're leaving" Sasori said getting up from the ground after he had put away the woman's sketchbook back. "Let's go."
Deidara mumbled something about not being fair but he nodded and followed his partner to the village, Akagakure to steal a secret scroll that holds secrets that no one in the village except the leader of there knew.
>>>>>>>
It's as my art had been acknowledged for the first time. My sketchbook seemed to be beaming with pride as well as all my other artwork.
Ami woke up after a few hours, "Huh? Where am I?" she asked no on in particular. As soon as her vision cleared up and her mind, she soon remembered that she had left the village with ought notifying any of her family. "I guess that was for the best" she mumbled picking up her bag.
"Hm? Something seems weird" she said, getting out her sketchbook. "Has someone touched it?" she tilted her head to the side flipping her sketchbook. "Must be my imagination, I didn't see anyone-" a loud grumble escaped from her stomach.
"Ahh!" she blushed in embarrassment despite the fact that no one was there to hear her. "I forgot to get some food!" she frowned. "I'm sooo hungry" she whined. "Oh great, I have to find food again" she muttered looking around the forest.
"Aha!" she picked some berries that grew from a bush. "I hope it's not poison" she said, though ate it without hesitation.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she started gulping down the berries, "This must be heaven!" she shouted eating all the berries that grew from the bush. She took a deep breath, now satisfied.

After a few minutes

"If only I could master my jutsu" she muttered leaning down against a tree as she took out a brush, some puppets, and paper. "If only my artwork came to life . . . that would be so cool. Then maybe I would be a kunoichi, following my father's order and my dream."
She sighed and looked up at the clear sky. "My life is so . . . complicated, it's not fair"
Life isn't fair Ami rang her father's voice. She squeezed her eyes shut not wanting to remember the argument before she had ran away from home. "You're not fair dad; you don't want me to chase my own dream." she mumbled, a single tear trickling down.
Why was I born in Akagakure in the first place? A place where everyone hated art? Where everyone didn't see the true beauty of art within them? she thought.
Her final thought before she drifted off to sleep.

Deidara started laughing as he started bombing the village. "Hahaha, that's what you get for hating artists like us!" he shouted throwing more of his C2 bombs. Sasori shook his head, he didn't plan on getting spotted so easily. He killed some ninjas easily with his puppets. "This is waste of time Deidara, hurry up and let's go" Sasori said or more liked ordered his partner.
Deidara grunted, "Tch . . . fine," though he threw more bombs at the village before he landed next to Sasori. He smirked, "This is what this village deserve" he mumbled staring at the flames, hearing the screams of many people.
Sasori sighed, "Come on let's go, you know that I hate waiting Deidara." He said as he started walking out of the village a scroll in his hand.
"Wait!" a voice of a man came from behind them.
Sasori twitched under his puppet, "What?" he asked, turning abruptly. He was ready to kill this man any minute, he saw the man cringe in fear. "Hurry up and speak old man, I don't have time to speak with you."
The man gulped, "Er . . . have you . . . uh . . . you didn't kill me daughter right?" he asked them. "You monster, you killed my daughter! Even if she loved art, even if she betrayed her own village I still loved her" the man mumbled looking down at the bloody ground.

Deidara and Sasori looked at each other, knowing that he was referring to the girl they had met a while ago. Sasori walked up to him, "Monsters, you say?" he asked him putting a kunai near his neck. "Sorry but I don't know what you're talking about" he said, ready to kill this man any minute.
"Please spare my life. At least!" shouted the man closing his eyes. He didn't have the strength to fight since both of his arms were badly burnt by Deidara's bomb.
Sasori chuckled, "Hn . . . I hate people who asks me to spare their lives" he whispered in the man's ear. "But I guess I'll let you live 3 days" he added, slicing the man's throat though not too deep so he wouldn't die.
The man widened his eyes dropping to the ground. "Ami . . . I'm sorry" he mumbled looking into the two Akatsuki member's eyes.

Ami gasped, "Oh . . . it was only a bird" she sighed in relief and noticed that the sun was almost setting. She looked back at her village that was now completely covered by the trees, "Good bye Father" she whispered.
