"So...what have my delightfully thoughtful parents left us for our dinner?" Zell mused, looking in the fridge, May leaning over his back.
"Oh my fucking god!" May squealed, reaching into the fridge, "What the hell is this?"
Pulling back her and Zell looked down at the clingfilmed wrapped plate in her hands. The contents looked like steak, but it was green and red. Lifting the wrap, Zell sniffed it, but immediately sneezed after.
"Looks like my Dad made his famous 'Jalpheno(sp?) Peppered Steaks.'" Zell explained.
"Why are they already cooked?" May asked, poking at the over-cooked pieces of meat, and glanced into the fridge once more and let out a disgusted squeal, "The potatoes are green too!"
"Right!" Zell stated, placing the steak in the bin, "Where are the take out menus?"
The food was soon ordered after muhc arguing between May and Zell over who was going to pay for it, and what they were going to eat.
"I still say we should have got the Crispy Chilli Chicken." May pouted, leaning back in her seat at the kitchen table.
"Well its my phone woman!" Zell retorted, which May simply stuck her tongue out at him.
"Can you guys get any more mature?"
They both turned to see Zack leaning back on the kitchen counter, smirking down at them, but May just kept her gaze from him. He had really confused her, and if she and pissed off some how then she would just leave him be.
"Zell, I'm gonna go and watch some T.V." May sighed, standing up, and not noticing the look Zell shot at Zack as she walked by them both.
Collapsing onto the couch, she flicked on the music channels until she finally found one where it was just music videos and at that moments was playing Bye Bye Beautiful by Nightwish.
A weight dropped beside her, and without looking she could tell it was Zack, so she just chose to ignore him in fear of annoying him more. She felt his stare on her, and she felt him move closer to her, and in return she moved away. This little charade continued until May ran out of couch to move along. She felt his head on her shoulder, and she tilted her head away, trying hard to concente on the T.V. His arm subtly went around her waist, and she felt his hand grab her side lightly in an attempt to make her look at him, but she jerked involuntairly.
"Oh!" Zack declared happily, grabbing her side once more, and she let out a small squeal/laugh.
"No..no Zakc, please!" May cried, as he began to tickle her sides, straddling her, and she finally looked up into his green eyes, as he grabbed her hands.
"Finally! Now I have your attention!" Zack smiled, " I wanna say that I am sorry for being an ass this morning...something got me all worked up and I kinda lashed out on you."
"That's okay, I forgive you. You're too pretty to be mad at." May said without thinking, and instantly blushed when Zack tilted his head confused.
"Awh!" He cooed, "You think I'm pretty? Not deathly hot and sexy?"
"Don't get your hopes up bro!" Zell called, from the living room doorway.
"Zell! Can you help me get this lard of a guy off of me!" May cried out, kicking her legs out.
"But you're sooooo comfy May!" Zack smirked, lying on her completely so their faces were only inches apart, and they were staring at each other intently.
They didn't notice Zell walk out the room at the sound of the doorbell, all that mattered was that they were both there.
"May...I...uhm..." Zack spoke, as May looked up at him smiling smally, but their moment was ruined by Zell's yell of,
"If you bitches don't get in here I am gonna eat the food without you!"
"We better go..." May mumbled, partly embarrassed at the position they were still in.
"Uhm yeah." Zack sighed, standing up off of her, and held out his hand to her and he helped her to her feet and they both swiftly walked to the kitchen.
"Hey! Quit hogging the rice!" May whined at Zell, who placed more thna half the contents of the silver box onto his plate.
"Well...fine." Zell caved, scraping some of the rice onto May's plate and she kissed his cheek sloppily, as he had done to her that morning.
As Zell wiped his cheek, grimacing at May, the phone rang out, and Zell jumped up to answer it.
"Hey Matt...yeah? Okay hang on." Zell spoke into the cordless phone, but then looked at May and Zack, "I am gonna take this into the living room."
May was too busy putting a carton into the microwave to see Zell nudge Zack in the shoulder before he walked out to the living room.
Zack and May sat in an awkward silence, both minds obviously still on their moment in the living room. Pushing her food around her plate, May reached out to grab the Soy Sauce but her hand collided with Zack's making the familiar gitters run up her arm.
"Sorry..." May blushed, letting Zack take the bottle, but he poured it on her plate for her before doing the same for himself.
"May...I really need to tell you something." Zack said, and May looked up at him interested.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Well...I..uhm...erm...well I was thinking that...uhm..." He began but became bright, coughing between words, and there wasn't a more adorable site that May had ever seen.
"Oh my god you numb nut! Just ask her out!" A voice called through the closed kitchen door.
May stood up and opened the door, to see Zell standing there with the phone to his ear and he said, "Yeah Matt...I will call you up with the results."
"Zell! What the fuck is going on?" May asked, confused, as Zell sat in her seat at the table.
"Zack, what the hell happened? You went all chicken shit on me!" Zell exclaimed.
"It is not that easy to do you know! She is your best friend!" Zack said.
"She likes you!" Zell insisted.
"Hello!! She is right here!" May cried out, so the two boys looked at her, both now going silent, "Whatever."
May then walked out the kitchen to the porch outside where she sat on the porch swing, awaiting some explanation.

"May?"
May turned her face and smiled at the sight of Zack standing beside her.
"Zack, can you just ask me what you're going to ask me." May sighed, as he sat beside her.
"Fine, but I have been finding this difficult because you're my little brother's best friend." Zack mumbled, going pink once more looking at his shoes, "Plus, I am guessing you kinda found out everything."
"Kinda..." May laughed.
"Fine, I have to admit that I am crazy for you, I mean I have heard so much about you and you in person has proved all it..." Zack trailed off, going pink.
May smiled at the boy in front of her and she took his hand in hers.
"Zack, I would love to go out with you." May spoke, and his head immediately lifted, his smile growing even bigger.
He wrapped his arms around her small frame and pressed his lips on hers softly and she happily kissed back.
"Well I guess you're going out, or you just fell onto her lips and got stuck."
They both turned around, Zack's arms still around her, they saw Zell standing there with a phone and he had taken a picture of the scene in front of him.
"Well this is going to Matt and I owe 5 bucks." Zell sighed.
"What?" Zack asked, pulling May into his lap, a more comfy position.
"I bet that you two would be together within 2 says and he said at 4-5..." Zell sighed, "Damn..."
