"Hey yo! Al! Wait up would ya?!" Shouted a tall brown haired girl running down the side walk towards her best friend.
The boy named Al slowly turned around to see his best friend running towards him. He smiled as he saw her and waved happily. "Sky! Sorry, I didn't know you would be on today." Al said with a smile as she finally came over towards him on the streets bus stop.
The brown headed girl name Sky, sighed. "I told you last night on the phone I would be after I helped my mom clean up some junk in the attic and after I practiced our new dance steps. Don't you remeber?" You asked watching as the bus came into your sight.
Al nodded, grining sheepishly. "Yeah sorry, I guess with brother and that little incident this morning with his milk I kinda forgot..." Al said as you both started getting onto the school bus that just pulled up.
You smiled. "It's ok Al. Nothing to important anyway."
"Yeah well I totally forgot about you and didn't even wait for you by the tree like I usually do, i'm sorry."
"I told you, it's ok Al! Really..." You said as you and Al made it to the back of the bus and looked at each other.
Al smiled. "You forgive me too easily."
"Well your my best friend stupid, so of course i'm going to forgive you! Besides it's not like it mattered anyway." You said with a small sigh.
Al couldn't help but smile and nod while backing up some so you could sit down first. You looked up at him as he did and raised an eyebrow. "Here, I know you like the window seat better." Al said with a smile. You blushed slightly but quickly hid it while looking down. "Uh thanks..." You said quickly sitting down beside the window and placing your books and bag on your lap. Al nodded as he sat down close beside you. "Your welcome, oh and Sky?" Al asked turning his head to look at you.
"Yeah?"
"Later on after school you wanna do our dance practice at your house or me and brothers?"
"Um, I guess at my house since my parents are going to be at work all day. It'll just be us and our new plasma screen tv so we can see all the cool dancers live!" You said happily.
Al laughed and nodded. "Ok sounds great. Then we'll practice at your house!" He said smiling while gently grabbing your hand and shaking it. You blushed and smiled as he did and shook back. "Uh, yea sure...heheheh..." You sighed as you and Al let go of each others hands, but placed them on top of each other as you looked out the window, waiting to get to school.
As you both were, you couldn't
help but sneak a few quick glances at Al beside you. Luckily, he didn't notice your gaze on him as he continued his own gaze out the window, watching everything pass by with a smile still pasted on his lips.
You smiled and blushed slightly as you stared at his peaceful, handsome face. He always seemed to have that same warm smile everyday you saw him. You didn't know why, but thats pretty much half the reason why you had these strange feelings for Al. Ever since the day you first met. Both of you were only nine the day you had met, but ever since then you and Al had always been the best of friends and seemed to be unseperatable. Especially when you danced together. You both loved dancing, and had done it ever since you were little. It was kinda like fighting so you and Al thought it was actually pretty cool. Ed pretty much, after four years, finally started dancing with you and Al, and since then all of you had been the greatest three dancers anyone had ever seen, or so says your parents. You and Al have always chosen each others as partners in everything you had ever done with each other. In school projects, in lots of games, and in dance routines that involved two people. You guys pretty much know how to do any type of dance together, yet both were still learing the tango. That was the only thing you couldn't get together, but most of the time you were on fire on the dance floor. You smiled just thinking about the way you and Al danced. You loved the feeling of Al's arms around you whenever you danced, and so you see that was it. Why you enjoyed being with Al so much. You were in love with him. You had been for years now and never liked leaving his side. To you, he was more than just any old friend. He was speacial. He was the reason why you kept moving. You loved everything there was to know about Al. They way he looked, the way he acted, the way he smiled, the way his eyes would entrance you whenever you looked up at them, which is why you stopped looking up at him so many times because everytime you did you would feel yourself grow weak and nearly faint. But everything that just made him, him, you were in love with.
You frowned. You had always loved Al, but...you was always afraid that he never loved you back. You knew Al cared about you, but only as a friend would. A friend. You hated that. You wished so much, deep down, that Al would think of you as something more. Something like...his lover. You, making him fall deeply in love with you. That was like a dream come true, and you always dreamt of being wrapped in Al's arms and just staying like that for all eternity, but sadly that was all just a dream. You knew Al would never be with you. He would only be your friend, untill he found that speacial someone...that speacial someone you wished to be.
You sighed deeply just thinking about it all and leaned against Al's shoulder. Al noticed this and looked down. He blushed slightly, but smiled as you did and gently moved his arm up a bit so you could be more comfortable as he slowly placed it on your hand. You see, you were only half right about Al. He did only think of you as a friend, but back when he was little, he always had this crush on her, but nothing serious. Even though growing up had slowly began to change how he felt, he just loved being your friend. He had no idea why, but he just loved being right there for you. He felt special and complete when he was. Especially when you were dancing. It was one thing you guys held a passion for. Al sighed slightly and looked out the window. This was the main reason why he kept being with you. He loved these feelings he got when he was with you. Some were strange he had to admit, but he just loved being your best friend. Some people of course would mistake you two for being a cozy couple since you guys dance together and hang out and sometimes maybe 'accidently' be caught holding hands alot, but Al didn't really think much of it. He just thought of you as the best friend who he knew would always be there for him no matter what.....
After about a long while they had finally made it to school. You sighed, but slowly started gathering up your things to get ready to get off. You and Al waited patiently as others walked down the bus isle and off the bus, but as you waited you quickly saw someone stopping and motioning them to come out. You and Al looked up to see a tall blond haired girl smiling sweetly at Al and giving him a wink. "Hey there, you can go in front of me if you'd like..." She said in a sweet tone while smiling down at Al.
He blushed slightly and smiled. "Um, t-thanks I guess..." He said nervously while scratching the back of his neck, stepping in front of her.
You sighed once again and shook your head. Another girl, yet again, being so sweet to Al. But just as you were about to get off behind him the girl quickly pushed you back down on your seat so she could be close behind him. You blinked a couple times and looked up at her. She snorted and turned her head as she started following Al off the bus. You growled as she did and slowly got back up and started walking off the bus as the last one to get off. Whenever you made it off the bus she saw Al waiting patiently for you at the edge of the school sidewalk. You smiled as you saw him and walked over. "Hey! Sorry took me so long to get out of there." You said making it over.
Al looked up at you and smiled. "It's ok. Just as long as you made it out safetly." Al said smiling as you guys began walking down the sidewalk and towards the school steps.
"Yep! Hehehehe.....Soooo do we go ahead and meet Ed and Saki by their lockers?" You asked, as you walked into the school.
Al sighed and shrugged. "I guess. They should be still waiting for us by the time we make it up there." Al said.
"Yep, or we could just leave them up there alone, like we just pretended we forgot about them." You said with a smirk.
Al laughed. "Yeah that would be a good idea but you know that they'll really have our heads if we just go on and forget about them. Remember last time we tried that plan? They started yelling at us for just forgetting."
"I know, but those two should really spend some alone time together. I mean since it's obvious they both like each other, why not just spend some quality time together." You said with a smile, as you and Al walked towards your lockers to see Ed and Saki already standing there waiting for them, talking.
"Yeah, like you and me. Best friends spending quality time together!" He said swinging his arm over your shoulder while grinning. You blushed but smiled and swung your arm around his shoulder, laughing. "Yep! You and I are unseperatable! Just like peas and carrots!"
"Peas and carrots?"
"Don't ask..."
"Ummm ok...how about peanut butter and jelly?"
"Yeah! Peanut butter and Jelly! You and I are like peanut butter and jelly! Sticky and unsepretable!" You said laughing.
Al also started laughing and smiled brightly at you. "Yeah and best friends till the very end!" He said grinning. You blushed as he said that, and looked up at him. You blushed a bit more once seeing his smile and gorgous eyes shining down on you making you smile happily at him and nod. "Yeah...friends till the very end Al...and I hope nothing will ever change our friendship..." You said with a smile while laying your head down on Al's shoulder. Al blushed but smiled. "Sky..." Al whispered with a smile, about to lay his head on yours untill you guys finally made it over to Ed and Saki.
Ed and Saki quickly heard you two coming and looked up at you and Al and smiled. "Hey you guys! Whats up?" Saki asked cheerfully.
You and Al both smiled. "Hey nothing much. Whats up with you guys?" You guys asked, your arms still around each others necks.
"Nothing really, and hey Sky? Are you, Ed, and Al going to be doing practice at your house or theirs?" Saki asked.
"Mine. My parents are gonna be gone for a while so we have the whole house to ourselves today."
You said smiling. Ed and Saki also smiled and nodded. "Ok cool! Think of any new songs yet?" Ed asked looking up at you. You sighed and shrugged. "Give me a minute, i'm still working. We're gonna have to do the ones on tv for a while till I come up with something."
"Oh ok, thats cool I guess, soooo whats up with you and Al?" Ed asked with a small smirk, while stuffing his hands in his pockets.
You and Al looked at him and raised your eyebrows. "Um, we're cool I guess?" Al said, not getting what he meant by that.
Ed and Saki giggled, but sighed. "No what I meant was, whats with the arms around each other and junk? You two lovebirds finally going out?" Ed asked smirking.
You and Al blushed and quickly let go of each other. "N-No! Of course not brother! You know very well we're just friends!" Al defended. Ed laughed. "Yeah I know, I know! You guys tell us like everyday so we know already. You guys are only 'Friends'" Ed said adding in the bunny ears. "Yeah, ONLY friends! Right Sky?" Al asked, smiling down at you.
You sighed and looked down. "Yeah...only friends..." You said quietly. Al smiled and nodded while looking back up at Ed and Saki. "See? Only friends! Now I gotta go now before i'm late for my next class ok? So later! Seeya guys at lunch!" Al said waving as he started walking off.
"Uh ok, bye Alphonse! Seeya at lunch!" Ed and Saki called out waving as you only stood there with a sad expression on your face. Ed and Saki noticed your sad expression and looked at you. "Uh something wrong Sky?" Ed asked.
You sighed and slowly shook your head. "No, i'm fine. I'm also gonna go to class now alright? Later...seeya guys at lunch." You said as you started walking slowly down the hallway and towards your next class.
After you left Ed and Saki looked at each other. "You think?" Saki asked raising an eyebrow.Ed sighed and nodded. "Without a dought, but come on we better go ahead and go to our classes too..." He mumbled as he soon started walking down the hallway. Saki nodded, following right beside him, blushing slightly as she smiled and started walking with him to the next class as she and everyone of them waited for lunch to come.

YES! And this chapter is over! How'd you guys enjoy the first chapter AGAIN!? XD, yea well it's not rly the same. I've actually tried to make it better than when I first started it out. As you can see I never deleted this story, just placed it somewhere on a hidden website hardly anyone ever goes to anymore^-^ Lol, and after months of not being on there I finally got it going again!
And the reason why I changed the name was because over the long time I was away I found this awesome song that matched PERFECTLY with the story! So the story's name is the title of that song! The old title seemed too cheesy so I switched it, lol.
But anyway I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. I will TRY to update some more along with my other stories IF i can! So don't give up hope on me yet! Keep tuned in so you guys can find out whats gonna be goin down in the friendship of Ed, Saki, Al, and Sky! Laterz!^-^
