-A Lack Of Color - |A George Weasley Romance|-Part Twenty-END-

I can't believe I've finished this. It was so great to write and I realize there was a great hiatus in the middle, but it was awesome to finally finish it up, now. I hope you've all enjoyed it. This last part basically takes place about a week after Emily and George make up.

The sunlight poured in through the open window. Opening my eyes slowly, I looked around. As always, the smells were amazing, mouthwatering, and couldn't kept me smiling because of that.

Silently, I stood up, stretched, and walked through the hallway and into the kitchen, wearing George's shirt.

"Hey, Em," he said grinning as he turned to look at me.
"Morning," I murmured, kissing his cheek and ruffling his hair momentarily. I smiled back at him as I sat down at my kitchen table. The mail was already setting there. I picked it up, still admiring the way the kitchen was smelling. It was delicious.

There were a few bills, a lot of junk mail, but soon I came across what I was looking for. Izzy had owled the day before and said to be on the lookout for it.

Izzy's invitation to her wedding in three weeks.

"Izzy's invite came," I announced conversationally. I saw George smile.
"Ah, I can't wait. I promised Olivia I'd take her to the zoo."
"She'll enjoy that so much, George," I told him still grinning.
"I love Ireland," he said in a sing-song voice. I laughed happily.

As he cooked breakfast, I gazed affectionately at him, admiring his profile. The sunlight coming in through the kitchen window was reflecting off his hair and face, giving his otherwise red hair, a look like his head was on fire. I stood up, walked over to him, and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"You, Miss Emily, are wearing my shirt," he scolded playfully.
"I am, Mr. George. What are you going to do about it?" I questioned staring up into his eyes. They were twinkling in merriment; he was suddenly tickling me. I started giggling.

Moments later, we somehow ended up on the kitchen floor, my -- or his shirt -- halfway unbuttoned and his hand twirling a tendril of my hair. He kissed my lips once, then my neck, then my lips again.

"I love you," I whispered, smiling.
"I love you, too."

As he kissed me again -- our breakfast probably burnt now -- the sunlight continued to pour in through the window. It was bright, almost blinding, seeping in through the cracks and underneath the doors. The past was only a bad memory and this was the perfect moment. The sky I saw now, I had never seen before and there was only joy in my heart. Every color was filled to almost bursting, and there was no grey in sight.
