The car kept on going into the darkness at a fast pace, even though I begged for it to stop.

All I could hear in reply were some evil laughs and sly remarks.

I rolled my eyes. Man, how I wished I could go home.

It was raining, and the Miami highway was deserted, what more do you want for a horror scene?

This moment was supposed to be a fun getaway, but for me it was just a summer nightmare.

"Oh, c'mon Cassie, cant you just live a little?" I heard the driver giggle, her blonde
locks shining from the moonlight outside.

I rolled my eyes once more and let out a deep sigh.

"I would have if I wasn't kidnapped and dragged to someplace unknown to the world." I replied slyly, gritting my teeth.

This wasnt fun at all.

"Hey, we didnt kidnap you, we just thought that we should just take you out instead of letting you be all cooped up in your house being all shy for once. C'mon, and it's your birthday, have some fun and come on a road trip with us for once, will you?" came a light voice from the backseat.

"You don't call taping someone's mouth and tying up their legs and arms behind their back and pushing them into a car kidnapping? And besides, I'm not that shy, I'm just not as social with other people as I am with you guys. You know how I can't help caring what people think. And fine, I'll go on this trip with you guys, sense I'm going against my will anyway" I blurted out, while moving my body in the uncomfertable passengers seat, throwing my long brown hair out of my tan face.

Thank God they untied me.

The girls laughed at my remark.

"Well, now that I think about it..." the driver smiled "it does sound like kidnapping. But hey, it was the only way to get you out of the damn house, sense you took defense class all those years ago and fight like a freaken' ninja. What else were we supposed to do, threaten you with a gun? We're not that crazy. And about that shy thing, sweetie, you've got to get over it. You're gorgeous, like drop dead, and everyone likes you, you're an A student, you're great in sports, and you've got four best freinds who love you to death. From my opinion hun, you've got it made. So, what's there to be all shy and insecure about?"

I gave her a glare, which she easily replied with sticking her tongue out.

"Okay first of all, what you said is so not true. Second, I only went all jackie-chan on you guys 'cause I didn't wanna go, but then you somehow got me tied up and that's why I'm here. And third, I told you I don't know why I'm like that but I just am. I'm sorry I'm not as outgoing as you guys are. I mean, has it ever accurred to you that you should except me the way I am?" I rolled my eyes and looked out the window.

There was silence for a moment.

"Sweetie" Ashley, the driver said as she reached out and stroked my cheek "we do like you the way you are. You're perfect in everyway, seriously. And what we said is true. Stop denying it. Honey, don't ever think we don't love you or want to change you. Because you know we love eachother like sisters and we adore you just the way you are. We just think that if you got out a little more, then maybe you can get to see more things out there. Now, for your birthday, we're taking you on a road trip to a place far far away from this sunshine state. And you missy, are going to like it, trust me".

There were some silent murmers from the girls in agreement.

After thinking about it, I smiled and said "Fine. I'll go. And thanks guys, you're the best".

I tossed my wavy hair in a messy ponytail, and turned around, staring at the three girls that sat in the back seat.

"So, where exactly are we goin'?" I asked, my eyes blinking with curiosity.

"Can't tell ya!" said Maggie, her long pig-tailed blond hair bouncing with her head, blue eyes boring into mine.

"And why not? I mean c'mon, my b-day's comin' up, and you guys kidnapped me. Please, I'm going against my will here-".

"Well it was supposed to be a surprise" Joy interupted, looking at her her honey-brown hair twirled around her finger.

"I don't care Joy, I've got to know. The suspense is killing me. And c'mon girls, you're my best friends, so atleast show a little bit of compassion?" I pleaded, looking at each of them hopefully.

"But...it's a birthday surprise Cass, we can't give it away" said Nicole, rubbing her sore legs from wearing those heels, her long shiny brown hair in a half ponytail.

"Nicky, Ash, Joy, Maggie" I warned, getting tired of having to wait.

"Fine" Ashley said after a moment of silence.

She looked at the girls, and then turned back to me, all with shocked looks on thier faces.
