Thirst [New Life] A Vampire Girl Story 1
Ok, so I made story because I'm tired of reading stories where the male characters are ALWAYS the perfect creature. The protagonists on vampire based stories is the girl is the weak human and the strong vampire is the male. Well, I'm turning this around. If you turn a human into a vampire, all of their memories in that life will be erased unless their memory is triggered by an incident. However, if a person from when they were still human is near them, it is easier for the new vampire to regain their memories.
Elizabethan Era.
His cold, porcelain skin touched my face. His dark, caressing hair brushed my cheek. He looked at me in the eyes intently. His venomous lips brushed mine. It was cold. He pulled me closer to his body and his scent hypnotized me. He moved his lips lower to reach for my neck. I felt his breath and I shivered.
"I can't do this Mila, I can't let myself do this." Slowly, he released me.
"I don't understand, Dante. I thought you wanted to be with me forever?" I pulled him towards me. "I want to be with you for eternity." And I kissed his cold lips.
"I know Mila and you know how much I want you to be mine forever too. But I can't do this to you. I don't want to end your life when it has just begun. Don't be like me. Please understand?" His eyes were full of compassion and sorrow.
"But my life is not going to end. If you help me, I will have hundred more years to live...with you. Please Dante, make me become like you. I beg of you." I held both of his cold hands. I wanted him to feel my emotions.
"You have to go now, it's getting dark. Your mother is worried about you. I can sense it." He kissed me again and after a few seconds, he was gone.
It frustrates me how he doesn't want me to be turned into a magnificent, fierce creature that he is. Immortality is not something I've ever wish to have. But it all changed when I met Dante. A creature of the night. His beauty captured me like a moth to a fire. I thought it was just all physical attraction but there was more beauty beyond his perfect face.
"I'm home."
"Mila! Where have you been? I was worried sick about you. You just left without telling any of us." My mother came towards me. She wasn't angry, more concerned about where her adolecent daughter has been.
"I'm sorry about earlier." I felt bad making her worry. She cares about me and my brothers and sister. She is the best mother I can ever have. I loved her.
"That's alright. Everyone is waiting for you in the dining table." She smiled.
"Not everyone. Father is not home anyway." I walked towards the dining hall. I stopped and I thought my jaw was going to drop on the floor. "You..."
"Oh good evening Mila. We have been waiting for you. Come sit down with us." He gave a smug look.
I didn't say anything. No one said anything apart from my little sister, Carla.
"Father, how long are you staying with us?" she said in a cheerful way. I don't know why she loves him. He was never around. He comes home once a week or once a month. I despise him but Carla loves him like no other.
"I'm leaving tonight, my angel." He pats her head. She warmly smiled at him. Her eyes full of compassion towards the man we called our father.
My brothers, Alexander and Micheal left as soon as they finished their dinner. They loath him as much as I do. I can never believe I have a father as cold hearted as he is.
Ceasar Luthuric, my father is the Mayor of the County. We are wealthy but we were never truly happy for we never felt like we had a father. He was just there to give all the materialistic things that we need. We never really felt any love. He has a very young mistres and that makes me want to kill him mercilessly. How can he ever betray my mother who loves him no matter what.
Melinda Luthuric. That’s my mother’s name. She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. Before my father met her, she was a woman full of fire, strength and life. Her beauty captured hearts of hundreds of men. She was beyond what you call beautiful. When Ceasar met her, he wanted her. He wanted to posses her. To own her. My mother came from a poor family and Ceasar promised to support and give care to my dieng grand parents at that time. Being a loving and caring person, my mother married Ceasar. ‘A heart can be taught to love.’ That’s what she used to tell herself. After a few years, she did fell inlove with him and everything went perfectly fine in the beginning. Only in the beginning.
When my brothers were born, they were twins, my father entered politics. He ran for the Mayor of the county. He was very busy that he left my mother on her own to campiagn for the elections. My mother was sad, she was devastated being left alone with two children to look after too. Ceasar also started having affiars with low society women and my mother knew about it. After a year, Ceasar continued to ignore my mother, she was broken.
My mother had an affair. My mother had me.
"I have to go now, Melinda." He kisses my mum in her forehead and started making his way towards the door.
Mother said nothing. Carla ran towards him and gave him a hug. He pat her head and continued to leave.
"Father, please stay longer." She pleaded the figure who was leaving her. My heart broke watching her.
He continued to walk away as if he didn't hear her cry.
I hate this man. He is heartless.
Just before he opened the door, there was an explosion. Bright light blinded me. Half of my house vanished right infront of my own eyes.
"Carla!" my mother screamed.
Carla was not there. Everything was yellow. Fire spread rapidly across the broken mansion. I heard people comming. My instinct told me to run but my feet were stuck to the ground as if some spell binded my body.
I heard several gun shots. Shades of red splashed across what’s left of the floor. I felt a sharp pain just under my chest. I dropped to the floor. The people were gone. I was left there to die.
Ceasar was dead. Carla, Alexander, Micheal, mother…are gone. My family is gone and I’m going with them.
"Mila!" I heard a familiar voice. I wanted to call out for his name, but I couldn't move my lips. I can feel that my life is draining out of me. "Mila, talk to me. Open your eyes, Mila, please!" He leaned towards my chest and listened if my heart was still beating. I can feel my time on earth is almost over.
I'm going to die.
I could feel something burning. My body was burning. Burning pain.
That was my last memory as a human.
***
It has been over 400 years since I was turned in to the creature that I am now. I lost almost everything on that fire. My home and my family. Except for Dante, but he's gone now too. I never thought I was a human before.
Dante made me remember.
"Mila, wake up." I felt his cold hand brushing my hair out of my face.
I opened my eyes. I saw this magnificent being right infront of me. Perfectly shaped face, ivory colored porcelain skin and the undeniably hypnoticing eyes. I opened my mouth just to say, "Where am I?"
"You're in my manshion, Mila. I'm glad that you're awake now." His face was calm and compose.
"Mila? Is that my name?"
"Yes."
"Why can’t I not remember that?"
"I've converted you." I sensed his sadness.
"Converted me?" I felt confused.
"You are now a vampire. Just like me."
Dante told me everything that he knew about who I was when I was. Human. A weakling. Some of my memories hasn't come back yet but I did remember him.
Dante Ramirez.
The man who has my heart.
I felt something within me. A strong desire to feed. Blood.
Thirst.
