You took a deep breath as you halted to a stop, you could sense that your friends were really near. I hope they're okay you thought to yourself as you started running again. Somehow you felt that one of your friends or even Sasuke was hurt.
I'm sorry everyone you regretted that you even ran away from the fight. That showed that you were truly a coward. Probably Sasuke and the others were mad at you for running away and not helping them.
Even Sakura didn't ditch them.
You sighed in relief as you saw them in the distance though you could clearly see that your brother and Naruto were injured and out cold, though it was better then not getting killed by that grass ninja and his huge snake.
Before you could even call Sakura's name to get her attention, someone threw a huge blast of water towards you, the impact of the water forced you back. You grunted in pain, wondering who did that.
You got up slowly, looking around, "Wh-whoever you are, you better show yourself!" you shouted as you quickly activated your sharingan.
Laughter of a girl could be heard all around you, you looked around trying to detect where this person was. "Come out!" you shouted. Knowing that you were now far away from your teammates, you knew that Sakura would not know what was happening right now.
"Wow, you're shaking. Are you that scared?" someone asked from behind you. "Where is that scroll you're holding?"
You turned around, but did not see anyone there. "I-I don't have the scroll!" you shouted as you started throwing explosive notes everywhere.
The person sighed, "Tch, I could tell you're lying. Where is it?!" she demanded as she showed herself.
You widened your eyes; the sword she was carrying was huge. You gulped, as you looked at the girl that was probably around 15 of age. She had long black hair that was tied up in a ponytail; she was wearing black sunglasses with matching shirts, pants, and boots.
"I'm not lying, I don't have the scroll!" you told her, hoping that she would just go away. You didn't want to fight right now. "You can search me, if you don't believe me!" you said, putting your hands up.
The girl raised her eyebrow, "Hmm . . . I hate that kind of person who gives up so easily," she muttered as she looked behind her. "Kenji, Kyoushi, go," she ordered them. As soon as her teammates left, she turned to look at you again.
"Wait, wh-what are you going to do?" you asked her, getting a bad feeling about it.
The girl just smiled, "I'm going to fight you or maybe even kill you. I mean, I don't want to just leave and spare your life just because you don't have the scroll I wanted," she said as she crossed her arms. "Hmm, I see you're an Uchiha. This is interesting, where is your brother?" she asked you, referring to Sasuke.
You stepped back, "H-he isn't here!" you replied, which was the truth. He was back with Sakura and Naruto lying unconscious. "Please don't do this, I don't want to fight!" you begged, looking scared.
The girl ignored you as she took out her huge sword. "What's your name?" she asked you. "My name is Hitomi, but I don't think that matters because you're going to die right here, right now," she said as she started walking towards you.
You backed away, "My name is none of your business!" you shouted back as you slowly took out an explosive note. You knew that running away wouldn't solve the problem, fighting was.
Hitomi smirked as she saw you took out another explosive note. "You actually believe that you would hit me with that?" she asked you, a hint of amusement in her voice.
You stayed quiet; you weren't really planning to hit her with this anyways. You threw the note towards her a loud boom could be heard. Birds flew away as the explosive note exploded.
"MISSED!" shouted Hitomi as she appeared behind you, blasting another huge water bullet at you.
You barely dodge it, as you made a substitution jutsu just in time. Even if she's fast, I can predict her next movement you thought to yourself as you observed her next attack. You lunged towards her, knowing that she was aiming her sword at your arm you jumped over Hitomi just in time.
You could hear Hitomi swear as she missed you. You made a huge blast of fire at her, when her back was turned away. Even though you were scared, your body just kept on moving by itself.
It was weird. Oddly, it felt good.
Was this why Sasuke wanted to have revenge? To feel good? You shook that thought away, as you concentrated.
You dodged Hitomi's slash, you took out a kunai and aimed it at her leg," Why are you doing this?" you asked her. "I don't want to fight you!"
Hitomi smirked, "This is fun. Don't you want to have fun by killing someone?" she asked you as she grabbed both of your arms, twisting it.
You screamed in pain, but then kicked her stomach making her lose her grip. "That doesn't make sense! You just want to kill me just for fun?" you asked her, you couldn't believe a person like that existed in this world.
Hitomi only smiled. "You should try killing some random people, that feeling . . . it's so good" she said, looking at the sky. "Well, you won't know that feeling anyway" she said, as she stared into your sharingan eyes.
Suddenly a scream could be heard. "Wh-what was that?" you asked no one in particular as you looked behind you where the scream came. You had a bad feeling about this; you could clearly see purple chakra in the sky.

"Don't turn your back while you're still fighting Uchiha!" shouted Hitomi as she punched you right in the face.
You gasped for air, "I'm not fighting you," you said as you stood up running away from her. "Just leave me alone!"
Hitomi only laughed, "You're an interesting one, for an Uchiha" she said as she kept on laughing, not bothering to go after you.
You ignored her as you kept on running, "Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke!" you shouted their names. Please be okay you thought to yourself as you saw your teammates in a distance.
You could see that Naruto was still unconscious, but not your brother. You could see black markings all around him. "Sasuke, Sakura!" you shouted their names, getting their attention.
Sasuke only glanced at you, as he collapsed in exhaustion, "Hi-Hikari, y-you came back" he muttered as he slowly closed his eyes drifting off to sleep in Sakura's arm.
You nodded, "Yeah . . . I'm sorry" you said as you sat beside them.
