Magical High (part 2)

"Magical High is where you'll be attending school this year instead of regular public school you'll be going to a school that was made for gifted students like you and I. I even graduated from Magical High," Kotarou explained. "So I'll be basically be going to a school where I have to meet new friends and start a whole new life for myself?" Luka complained. "Not entirely, I talked to Luna Fujita's mom and she has agreed to send Luna to Magical High as well that way you will know someone when you get there. Besides all the freshman will be new, kids from all over the world and from different dimensions come just to attend Magical High," Kotarou told her. "Ok so what exactly is my power? Don't tell me I have the power to blind people, what a big whoopie do that would be," Luka asked. "Well you could blind people with your power, but that's just an addition that comes with having the powers of light," Kotarou replied. "So my power is light?" Luka questioned. "Yes it is, it's an extremely rare power, only one other has had the honor of possessing these powers," Kotarou told her. "So that makes me special?" Luka asked. "Don't make me puke, all this talk of how your power is rare and how you think your special just makes me want to hurl," Miya butted in. "Miya! Don't say such things," Kotarou scolded her. "I'm only telling the truth," Miya told him. "Just because you're jealous of us and especially me doesn't mean you can go and ruin everyone's day just so you can say that your life's so miserable because you won't ever obtain any powers of any kind," Luka said. "Luka, don't say that, you know as much as I do that it isn't for certain that she might not get her powers," Kotarou scolded her as well. "Kotarou quit fooling yourself, you know that she won't ever get her powers, so quit giving her false hope that one day she be just like us," Luka said. "You know what I'm glad I'll never be like either of you, your both spoiled little power kids who don't care about me, so why should I care about you. I'll get my powers one way or the other," Miya told them. Miya then took one last look at them and stomped off to her room. "That was handled quite nicely I think," Luka chuckled. "Enough. You really hurt her this time," Kotarou said. "She started it," Luka told him defending herself. "It doesn't matter who starts it, you're older so you should be mature enough to stop it," Kotarou said. "You know what stop taking her side. Get out, I'm getting ready for the day," Luka demanded shoving him out the door. Luka slammed the door in his face and locked it. Thirty minutes later she was ready for the day. She barged out of her room and into the kitchen where Kotarou was supposedly reading the news. "I'm heading out Kotarou," Luka told him opening the side door. "Where are you going?" Kotarou asked without looking up from the newspaper. "To hang out with Luna, where else would I be?" Luka answered. "Just be careful and don't get into any trouble," Kotarou warned her. "Ok yea whatever, later," Luka said quickly as she exited the house running down the steps and down the driveway. She barely made it onto the sidewalk when she was clobbered by her best friend Luna Fujita. "Hey!!!" Luna screamed into Luka's ear. "Could you be any louder?" Luka asked. "Do you really want me to answer that?" Luna questioned. "No, not really. So what are we going to do today?" Luka asked. "Shopping," Luna replied. "Again? Didn't we do that yesterday?" Luka questioned. "Yes but that was normal shopping, today we are going shopping for something to wear to the first day of school," Luna replied. "Speaking of which, when were you going to tell me that you are going to Magical High as well?" Luka questioned. "Your brother told me not to tell you until you got your powers. So now that you know does that mean that you got your power?" Luna replied. "Yes I did, I found out that my power is light," Luka said. "Light huh, that's rare, it's one of the most powerful elements and in the wrong hands could be the most dangerous of any power," Luna said. "You said one of the most powerful elements, what do you mean?" Luka asked her curiously. "There is another element, dark, it is feared throughout history as the most destructive of all, but there hasn't been anyone who has had the power of dark in a long time. The last one to have it disappeared, but your brother knows more than I do about all of this so you can ask him later," Luna explained.
