Jayden
I smiled to myself as I heard my mother leave the house. Freedom at last. I walked into the computer room, connecting to our cruddy dial-up Internet.
I couldn't get my mind off yesterday and how enchanting Max Green truly was. What amazed me further was that he actually wanted me to show up and see him again today. I grinned inwardly.
Typing in my e-mail and password for MySpace, I had a thought. As my home came up, I searched "Max Green" in the search box. Smiling as six results came up, I clicked the one with Max's picture in it.
His page was one of those plain pages that the real popular MySpace people have.
I'm a model.
I'm 22.
I'm gay.
Yes, my hair is naturally black.
I just got through a hard break-up.
Comment me!
I smiled and clicked the "add" button. I clicked accept and went back to check my messages. My cousin Carlene from back in Ireland sent some pictures of her new baby, but that was all that I had. I don't really have many friends here. Kids make fun of my accent and the music I listen to, so most kids don't want anything to do with me.
I noticed that Max already added me back. I clicked on his MySpace and went to comment him when I noticed it changed a bit. He now had a layout with hearts and his relationship status changed to "In a Relationship". I furrowed my brow. The breakup sentence was now deleted and replaced, "Me and my baby are back together! ♥ !!"
My head hurt for a moment. I commented him, asking how he was doing, what time he wanted me to be at the studio, and I'd comtemplated on asking who he was dating, deciding not to.
He commented back pretty quickly, telling me to be there by three and saying he that he was doing fantastic.
I didn't comment back, but signed out, deleted my history, disconnected the internet, and went back into my room.
I don't know why it hurt so much that Max was dating somebody else, since I hardly knew him.
I found my bouncy ball and started throwing it at the wall, trying to think of ways to better myself.
Max
"Maxxie, you're so beautiful."
I giggled, "Not so much."
"Yuh-huh," Ronnie said, kissing my neck, "and I love you."
"I love you, too," I said, grinning.
I found myself smiling as I accepted my hundred of friend requests on MySpace. I fixed my page very quickly. I added a layout and my new information, adding some old photos of Ronnie and I. I smiled at them.
"Hey, how're you doing? And what time do you want me at the studio today?"
I frowned, suddenly remembering Jayden. I answered him, waiting for a reply for at least twenty minutes. I never recieved one.
Something felt strange inside of my stomach, but I couldn't point it out. I shook it off by spamming Ronnie's MySpace with, "I love you!" comments and such.
My alarm went off. I turned it off and began to get ready for work. I got into my car and drove to the studio.
I walked in through the front doors, seeing Jorgina, Lee, and Ronnie all waiting. Ronnie greeted me with an embrace and a delicate kiss. Jorgina and Lee went into the photoshoot as Ronnie and I continued with our business in the lobby. I heard the door shut and we immediately pulled apart out of shock.
Jayden smiled weakly and pushed past us to go into the photoshoot area.
I got that feeling in my stomach again.
♥ I couldn't tell you the meaning of love.
