Traveler of the Moon :Yaoi Wolfs Rain: Chapter One
I sighed and looked up at the midnight blue sky. Everything was shaded in black and even the stars seemed to be a little dimmer then normal. Around me giant trees towered over the plains that, when it has light, is a dark green. Small and large creatures swarmed inside it and the hunting was amazing. Yet I knew I wouldn't stay long.
Being a traveler I've gotten use to being away from civilization and I prefer it that way. There have been times I've almost starved and times I've almost busted from being so full. Really nothing could even come close to the feeling of it. The feeling of knowing you're on your own. The wild rush that comes as you make a kill. The stone cold survival instinct when you're on the brink of death. Nothing could compare.
My head whipped to the side. Something had snapped me out of my thoughts. A noise, like a branch breaking. Though it was not close, a good two miles away at the least. Though I don't like to take chances. Heaving a sigh of irritation I reluctantly got to my feet. Shaking the dew out of my chin length shaggy black hair, some of my bangs covering one of my sharp grey eyes.
A black cloak covered my shoulders and hid my body from view. Under it I wore a simple black loose shirt and some dark jeans, vans covered my feet.
Freezing slightly I looked around. The noise had come again, closer this time though. Whatever it was, was smart. It was covering its scent by using the forest's natural smell. Letting out a hesitant growl I quickly made my way out of the forest. As soon as I started running something hit my head and I blacked out.
The last thing I heard/felt was a laugh and a chain seizing my neck.
)))))))(((((((
Pain throbbed in my temple and I squinted my eyes open. Noise was making it impossible to hear a coherent sentence and I could barely think. After awhile of dazedly laying there I realized that I had a chain around my neck. That, and I was in a slave market.
Damn...
A growl ripped from my throat when a man took the chain and yanked me out of the cage. After that I was shoved infront of a large crowd on a shabby platform. It seemed that the whole forsaken town how come out for the slave trading.
Actually this whole thing is illegal. Only reason the officers never do anything is because they're all crooked. Usually the bastards get free slaves to turn blind eyes. Really it's not that surprising.
However as the slaves infront of me were being bidded off I looked around. It seemed that I was in a building of somesort, no surprise. Like a stadium with a roof. The walls were huge, but were brown and seemed to be rotting from the inside out, again no surprise. The lights were on low and focused mainly on the stage. That way the slaves can be seen, but we cannot see our 'masters' to well, if at all.
The roof was crumbling but on the bright side it didn't smell too bad. Kind of musty with tasteless air. With all the crooks and shankers staring at us and the shining of hidden guns, it makes me feel like a damn dog.
I turned my attention to the human pig infront of me as he started to talk. Well it seems that it's my turn.
"Here we have a young male. Good shape, strong, we start at 600!" from there I just tuned out, I don't really care anyways. When I'm bought I'll just escape, nothing new. This isn't the first time this has happened to me after all.
Looking infront of me I noticed a group of boys in the back. They all seemed young and didn't look like they belonged here. My eyes narrowed when one raised there hand for the bid. Not to long after the man yelled out SOLD and I was cast down from the platform.
Well, well seemed as if I was bought by the teen. This should be interesting.
As they shoved me towards them I began to size them up, one by one.
The youngest was about 14 to my 16 and had dark auburn hair and pretty auburn eyes. He wore a simple red long t-shirt and pants. What caught my attention were the three silver bangles on his wrists. His face was kind and he seemed to be so innocent.
Next was a pudgy 15 looking one with brown hair and eyes. He wore a yellow hoodie with lighter beige pants. He seemed to be energetic and was looking at me curiously.
After him I looked at the tallest one. He had greyish-silver hair with gray eyes, but he seemed to be only about 20. He wore leather which kind of surprised me and was looking at me suspiciously.
Last was the one who had raised his hand. He was very much good looking to say the least. With dark longish brown hair and amazing ice blue eyes. He wore a white shirt under a black jacket and plain pants.
The man holding my chain said some things then pushed my chain in his hands. All of them stared at me for a while, stares which I returned my own emotionless one to, before leading me out of the Trade post.
Outside my nose crinkled in disgust and I made a noise in the back of my throat. How humans could stand to live in such a vile city, or city period, still astounded me. Every where I go it seems as if the cities just get poorer and the poeple more miserable. yet they never leave... Ever......
Humans are such strange creatures.
My curiousity peaked however when we made our ways into a desolated forest just outside the ranking place. The woods smelled of crisp oak trees and dewy grass, though it also held an undertone of sickness to it. I let a sad smile cross over my face. The humans had even managed to poison this one.
Kiba looked over at the boy, questions in his icy eyes. This would be the second time that all of the wolves searched for paradise and upon their journey they came across him a ways from the forest. All of them tried to greet him but he had ran away then, low and behold, they seem him at a trade. From the look in his eyes Kiba guessed that he was soon planning to escape and smirked inwardly.
Only a wolf would think of that.
My grey eyes snapped over to meet with blue. As they clashed i saw the smirk across his face. I kept my face cool and aloof though on the inside I was fuming. How dare he have the nerve to smirk at me!
I know it seems foolish but I've always hated it when ppeople smirked at me. It grated on, what was left of, my nerves.
Deciding to get away quicker then usual I logically made up a plan. It was very simple but it worked all the time.
Run away while their asleep.
As soon as I came to the decision the youngest one announced he was tired and the pudgy said he was hungry. The one who seemed to be the leader, blue eyes, looked over them carefully. After finally coming up with a decision he stated we would ret and then eat in the morning. Not to far away was a cave I know we could sleep at, but I'll keep that little bit of info to mysef, thank you very much.
An I must tell you it's VERY amusing to see 4 boys go out to search for shelter.
After some arguing, pudgy and runt, they decided to just sleep where we were since it was thickly densed with trees. They all plopped down some way. Pudgy layed down with his head on a rock like a pillow, runt did the same only he used his hands instead of a rock. He seemed to want to be close to the silver haired one, who was sitting cross legged with his back against the tree right beside the runt. Last but not least was the leader. He sat down with one leg bent and his back against a tree.
I just sat in the dirt and waited smirking to myself on the inside.
Not to much later they all fell asleep.
Do you fell like a man when you push her around
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground
