Rewind to when they went their separate ways...

*Hope's thoughts*
My left arm is linked with Joe Jonas' right arm. *sigh* This is heaven! Although it would be a lot better if Joy wasn't here. She always has to make my life miserable. Ever since she found out that I was bulimic, that's exactly what she's made it. But I have to look on the bright side right? I'm with Joe, walking around Central Park. If we were back home, people would be giving Joe the evil eye for having a girl on each arm. But we're not back home. We're in New York City. And I just have to make the best of this situation.*

*Joy's thoughts*
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!! I am actually linking arms with Joe Jonas!!! My wildest dream has come true. Although, Hope was not in my wildest dream. But it's good that I'm here so I can keep my eye on her. The first time I found out she was bulimic was freshman year. I walked into the bathroom and I heard this gagging noise and liquid going into the toilet. I knew I had to do something, even if I didn't even know the girl. I lost my best friend because she was bulimic, I didn't want this girls' friends to suffer like I did. That's why I'm so harsh to her and why I only bring it up in private. She probably hasn't told any of her friends, like Amber never told me...*

*Joe's thoughts*
Well, this is an interesting situation. Two girls, who probably both like me, linked arms with me. Truth is, I may like Hope more than Joy. But I can't make that decision yet! I have to get to know Joy first. Okay, let's think...what do I know about Joy?? Nothing. Great starting point. Mm-kay, now what do I know about Hope? She has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Green with brown speckles, incredible. She has such a great smile, the greatest feature on any girl. But Joy has gorgeous eyes, too. Darkish blue in the center of a light brown ring. And she too has a great smile!! This is gonna be harder than I thought....*

*Third person*
"So, where to ladies?" Joe asked, looking to Joy and then Hope
"Mm, I don't know. Where do you want to go Hope?" replied Joy
Joy and Joe looked at Hope. "Uh, um. How about we just walk around? It's a nice day and I would hate to waste it inside."
Joy nodded. "Sounds like a good idea. What do you think, Joe?"
"Let's do it!" said Joe, letting go of their arms
They walked around Central Park. Briefly saw Kevin and Grace before they disappeared into a bush maze-type thing. "You can only guess what's gonna happen in there!" Joe said, making Joy and Hope laugh.
"Grace isn't like that though," Hope said in defense for Grace
"Neither is Kevin, my dear Hope," Joe said
"Okay. I just wanted to let you know that Grace isn't like that."
"Okay, it was a joke, and like I said before, Kevin isn't that way either."
Hope was getting a little upset at Joe. "Then why would you say that?"
"Geez, Hope. It was a joke! You were laughing too," Joy pointed out
"I know. It's just that...nevermind. It doesn't matter," replied Hope
"Don't hold anything in, Hope. It's good to not have any unresolved issues or secrets," said Joy
Hope looked at Joy and gave her a "You-wouldn't-dare-to-tell-Joe-that!" look. Joy gently shook her head and looked straight ahead.

*Joy's thoughts*
I'm just trying to help you, Hope. You're are really full of potential, and you're probably throwing that away bit-by-bit by having that illness with no one knowing about it...

*Hope's thoughts*
Why is Joy all of a sudden worried about my problem. I admitted it to myself that I have one, isn't that enough?

*Joe's thoughts*
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea....
