DID YOU--- read the memo?~
Yes... (Me: Yeah, likely story!) Ok maybe I didn't. (Me: then go read it!) Fine I will. *reads*
No, no body does that. (Me: Well maybe you should.) Fine.
Man, you haven't asked this question in forever why are you asking it now. (Me: I sometimes forget. Jeez, just read it.) Fine.
Yes I always read them! (Me: Yay for you! ^_^)
No and I'm not going to read it. (Me: Well fine.)

~~~Story begins~~~
"It's been snowing for a long time! I didn't realize how much it had been snowing until I woke up. I was covered in snow." Naruto shivered.
You with everyone else ran to the door to see at least four feet of snow outside. Suddenly the lights blinked on and off until they finally died.
"Oh well that's great." You replied rolling your eyes.
"Crap what are we going to do now?" Ino complained.
"Well, since it's still dark outside I would say we should go back to sleep than see if the lights come back on." Shino replied.
"Yeah I guess that would be best. I hope Tsunade-sama didn't wake up." Sakura yawned.
The group began to disperse, walking back to their rooms with tired looks on their faces. Luckily Tsunade hadn't woken up, and it seemed none of the sensei had woken up either. Gaara walked back to his room dragging you along like a helpless puppy. He didnt mention anything about how the two of you had woken up and just laid his head back on his pillow falling asleep in an instance.
You lay next to him, but had the trouble of falling back asleep. Cold air seeped threw the windows making you shiver. You were so use to the heat in Suna that the cold weather almost felt new to you. The thought of cold weather made you think back of the last day you were at home with your family. You wonder how they were and if they were worrying about you. A part of you assumed that they were looking for you but a little piece of you began to think that since you had been such a small part of their lives they didn't even notice you disappear.
You had an Algebra I test the next day and wonder what stuff your classmates were learning. Cold weather always made you sad and somewhat depressed which made no since, since you were born during winter time. You sighed sadly to yourself. You should be happy but for some reason you weren't and you never had been.
"What's wrong?" Gaara asked, his eyes still closed.
"Oh Gaara you're awake." You said startled.
"Yeah this entire time I thought that you would have fallen asleep by now." He stated.
"Yeah, I guess you were wrong." You laughed.
"So what's wrong?" He asked again.
"Nothing is wrong." You lied.
"If you say so..." Gaara muttered.
"What's that suppose to mean?" You questioned.
"Nothing..." He murmured sounding as if he was falling back asleep.
"So, does talking with me always make you sleepy?" You asked.
"Yes," He said simply.
"How will we get back to Suna?" You asked.
"We'll walk of course." Gaara answered.
"But there's about five feet of snow out there." You said tiredly.
"It will probably let up by the afternoon."
But Gaara was wrong. The snow continued to fall threw the day. The power failed to come back on and everyone was cold. You noticed that your head felt a little stuffy, but ignored it to the best of your abilities. All the exits were blocked with at least three feet of snow if not more. Ten-ten had unhooked you and Gaara with her key to the handcuffs so you could move freely. Naruto complained the most; saying that he felt ill from having to sleep out side.
Tsunade designated that everyone was allowed to use the hot spring at the same time as long as they wore a bathing suit. Everyone agreed and spent most of their time in there in between meals that the cooks and a hard time cooking because of the power outage. Tsunade also told you and Gaara that you couldn't leave in such a snow storm and sent a messenger hawk to Suna that the Kazekage would take longer to get back because of the snow storm.
Your body felt surprisingly heavy and you didnt understand why. Your appetite was gone and you felt extremely tired. You stared at the food in front of you at lunch unable to even pick it up. The girls ate happily around you talking and joking. Your mind was too fuzzy to really comprehend what they were saying.
"Um... ____-chan are you ok?" Sakura asked.
"Uh yeah I'm fine." You lied.
"You haven't touched your food. Are you sure your fine?" Sakura asked again.
"Yeah, I'm just not hungry you guys can have it if you want, I think that I'm going to go back to bed." You murmured.
"Didn't get much sleep with Gaara I take it?" Ino teased.
"Oh yeah that's the reason." You laughed weakly.
You waved back and forth as you stood up, finding it difficult to stand without falling. You almost fill to the ground but luckily Sakura caught you with the help of Ino.
"_____-chan what's wrong with you?" Ino asked.
By now Ten-ten and Hinata had come to see what was wrong. You tried to answer the question but nothing came out. Sakura placed a hand on your forehead and quickly pulled it off.
"She's burning up." Sakura stated.
"She might have gotten sick from the cold weather." Hinata replied.
"It's only been snowing since last night." Ino complained.
"It's probably a side affect from almost drowning, her body wasn't ready for her to push herself. She should have rested more." Sakura answered.
You mind fuzzed in and out of begin awake and falling out of consciousness. Apparently, you had been moved into your room. A wet rag was placed on your forehead and even though your head itched you were unable to move. Snow covered your window sill and it was most likely night time since the only a black light emitted off of it.
You heard the door to your room slid open and closed but you were unable to open your eyes and talk, in a slight daze before falling asleep. Someone lend over you and placed a thermometer in your mouth. After a couple of minutes the thermometer was taken out of your mouth.
"How is she?" Gaara's voice asked.
"It seems that her fever has gone done just a little, not much." Tsunade said solemnly.
"Do you have any clue when she could have gotten so sick?" Gaara asked.
"Sakura-chan said that a few hours after ____-chan had almost drowned in the hot spring she had had a slight concussion. That could be part of it. Next could be the sudden cold weather. Whatever got her this sick, she'll be in bed for awhile. We could make her antidote but it's almost impossible to get out of this hot spring. Naruto's tried but has failed miserably." Tsunade explained.
"Hm," Gaara responded.
Tsuande, or at least that's who you thought took your wet rag and placed colder water on it. Laying it gently on your head she sighed.
"Well, it would be best for us to get our sleep. You shouldn't be in here just in case it's contagious." Tsuande said.
"Right," The Kazekage murmured.
"I'll check on her in the morning." Tsunade replied.
They shuffled out of the room and closed the door. Your head was fuzzy but you couldn't fall asleep. There was an uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach which made you want to barf.
"You're completely helpless without someone to guide the way for you, aren't you?" Sai's words echoed threw your head.
You felt so frustrated when the words came to mind. You were so helpless right now and your clenched your fist in anger feeling tears well up in your eyes. Even though your body refused you pushed yourself forward and sat up on the futon. Your face was burning, your stomach was swimming violently and your mind was centered on the words Sai had mocked you with.
"Helpless..." You managed to say to yourself.
Somehow you crawled to your backpack and pulled out the watch you took from Kankuro's room when you cleaned it. It said that it was 11:47 PM. You lay your head on the table, its cool surface made you shiver. Your body felt heavy again and you fell asleep at the table.
~~~ 1:08 AM ~~~
"Helpless as always aren't you?" A voice questioned from behind you.
Your eyes flickered open at the voice and you pulled your face off the table. You tried to turn around swiftly to see who it was but ended up stumbling backwards and landed roughly on the ground. You face was still hot and it was hard to comprehend anything right now. You repositioned yourself to see Sai staring down at you.
"What do you want?" You breathed.
"Well, it turns out that I have medicine for your type of illness, but I'm not sure if I'll give it to you if you have that type of attitude." He said with a blank expression.
You were going to act nice and apologize but you were having hard time breathing after being worked up so much. You slumped back up against the wall your head was still spinning. Sai walked up to you and came down to your level by resting on his feet. He placed a cold hand on your head which gave you goose bumps.
"I'll tell you what, I'll give you so medicine now, and you owe me something later." Sai began.
"What?" You murmured half dazed.
"You still owe me for what happened in the closet, so, one kiss, how about that?" He asked.
If you hadn't had a fever you knew your face would be this hot. Why was Sai so into you? You remembered how he always stared at you during the party, he had saved you, but didn't seem happy when you thanked him so what was it. He seemed to hate you with every fiber of his body and wasnt he gay? You thought of your only options and said meekly.
"No,"
"No?" He questioned.
"N--" You began but Sai forced a pill in your mouth.
You chocked on it, but swallowed it. He stared at you with a confounded look.
"You're different from Sakura or Ino." He pointed out.
"Um, thanks?" You questioned.
"Here you need another pill." Sai said taking out another pill.
"N--." But the pill was once again put in your mouth.
Sai then picked you up and sat you in your futon. He place cold water on the wet rag and place it back on your head.
"Why...? Why are you doing this?" You whispered.
"I'm not sure. I have this strange feeling when I'm around you. You're different from all of the other girls." He said staring you in the eyes.
You watched Sai take his eyes off of you and quickly place the small bottle of medicine in his jacket/tube-top pocket. He stood up again and gazed down at you.
"If you need more medicine you know where to find it, but that time it will cost to have some." He said as he shuffled out of the room.
You hadn't realized how tense your body had been and it finally relaxed. You eyes closed with out you having any control over them and you let them do as you pleased, your body, after all, needed the rest.

~~~6:34 A.M~~~
"Her temperature has gone down a lot since last night, but she still has a fever of about 99.5 Degrees F." A voice said waking you up.
Groggily, you opened your eyes, to see Tsunade leaning over you. Your body still ached, but your head had stopped spinning. Tsunade looked down at you with shock then she smiled a wide grin.
"Well, she's conscious," She said to another person in the room.
"That's good," Gaara's familiar voice said happily.
"I'll have the chefs prepare some soup and bread and you two can talk." Tsunade said leaving the room.
Gaara took her spot next to you looking stern as always. His face for some odd reason made you start to laugh and you didn't know why. He only raised a non-existing eyebrow again, but seemed to smirk to himself.
"How are you?" He asked.
"Ok," You said hoarsely.
"You?"
"Fine."
"Has the snow led up?"
"A little, but not much."
"Sleep well?"
"Not really. You?"
"Not really."
Thought the conversation was basic, you knew that Gaara was some how opening up to you more than other people. You liked that your trust level with him was this high, your greatest fear was that the two of you could never get your relationship better than it was back when you had to wake him up all the time and he hated your guts. The water seemed to be calmer between the two of you.
Tsunade came back with a tray with soup and a roll of bread on it. Gaara moved out of her way and you sat up to receive the tray. A class of water was also on it which made extremely happy because your thirst was getting the better of you. Tsunade handed you the tray and you quickly grabbed the water.
"Drink slowly," Tsunade advised before any had touched your lips.
You nodded and sipped slowly. She and Gaara decided to let you eat your soup in peace and that you should stay and rest which you hated. You ate your soup and bread in silence since you had no one to talk to when a memory flashed threw your mind. The soup spurted out of your mouth.
Holy carp did last night happen?! You asked yourself.
What are we talking about again? The voice asked.
The whole Sai thing, remember?! You persisted in thought.
No the voice replied.
Sai, Sai, Sai! The memory was really blurred, but he gave you medicine that's why you felt so good, but you probably need one more pill to get completely better. You were forgetting something though... Sai had said something about pay back and did he like you?
You were having a hard time remembering things when Sakura, Ino, Hinata and Ten-ten walked into the room with smiles on their faces.
"It's good to see you alive." Ino said.
"We--We were worried." Hinata stammered.
"How are you feeling?" Sakura asked.
"Better than before," You sighed.
"That's good," Ten-ten said happily.
"It's freezing outside!" Ino exclaimed.
"Well it has been snowing." Ten-ten said.
"Shut up Ten-ten." Ino said.
The girls tried to entertain you with updating you on what had happened the day before. You tried to act interested, but were extremely bored. After an hour of them talking, laughing and joking, Tsunade ordered them out saying that you needed your rest. Tsuande checked your temperature once more and had you take a nap, though it was hard to fall asleep at first.
Once you had fallen asleep your dreams were filled with weird things and mostly a never ending nightmare. Sai would be standing over your body with the medicine you needed, but would hold it where you couldn't reach it telling you that you still needed to pay. For some reason Gaara was there glaring at you the evilest death glare and you didn't understand why.
You would wake up, but only to find that you were asleep in a dream and wake up again, and again and again. Once you had woken up to the real world, you noticed that you felt worse than in the morning. Crawling over to the table, you lifted up the clock to see that it was 7:35 P.M.
You stood up groggily, but managed to walk in a line without falling. You slid you door open cautiously and closed it. Laughter and splashing was coming from the hot spring. The power was still out and you walked in darkness. The hallways were deserted and you suspect that everyone was in the hot spring. You needed the medicine from Sai, but you didnt want to have to give him your first kiss.
You made it to his room with out falling or breaking anything. You felt proud of yourself as you slid the door open and closed it behind you. His room was neat and bigger than yours, there was a small dresser added. On his table were his close folded neatly yet out of place. You quickly walked over to the tube top jacket and to the pocket he had stuck the pills in. You unzipped the pocket to only be foiled in your attempts in getting the pills, he had moved them.
Damn! You thought to yourself.
You were about to looked more, but heard people shuffling in the halls. You had to find somewhere to hide and quick. You looked around the room.
The bathroom? You asked yourself.
No, he could go in there! The voice responded.
Then where?! You asked in desperation.
There! The voice said pointing to the dresser.
Though it was a small dresser the entire thing was one giant space so you would be able to fit inside. The door to it slid open and had tiny holes as fancy decoration and you wouldn't be seen because how dark it was in the room. You heard the foot steps getting closer. You squeezed into the dresser, luckily it was empty, but had a hard time closing the door.
Hurry shut the door! The voice screamed.
I'm trying! You cried to yourself.
Suddenly the door open as you had just closed the door to the dresser. Sai looked around his room looking slightly confused. He shrugged it off and walked to his close. He was wearing his bathing suit, but you had the feeling that he was going to change and because of the tiny holes in the door you could see everything. As he was about to change his clothing he noticed something wrong with his tube top jacket.
Oh crap! You thought to yourself.
What's wrong? The voice asked.
I forgot to zip up the jacket! You cried.
Sai looked around the room once more and then centered on the dresser than the bathroom. He walked slowly towards the dresser when a knock came to the door.
"Hey Sai-san dinner's ready. You better hurry before Naruto-kun eats it all." Lee said from the other side.
"Right, I'll be right there." Sai said.
He turned away from the dresser and slipped his swimsuit off. As quickly as possible you shut your eyes and covered your mouth with your hand to stop you from screaming. You peeked again and he had his underwear on and sighed quietly to yourself. He slipped the rest of his clothing on and left the room. Quickly you opened the door and pulled yourself out of the dresser.
Oh that was too close, You sighed.
Just a little. The voice mocked.
Alright, on to the medicine. You said in your head.
You glanced around in the dark room and saw Sai's backpack lying on the floor, backed up against the wall. You pulled yourself towards and began to look through the contents. You unzipped the big pocket and pulled out his sketch pad and several tubes of ink and brushes.
"What are you doing in my room?" Sai asked from behind you.
You jumped in the air. Sai was standing at the closed door with a plate of food in his hand. You stared at him not knowing what to say your hand was still in his backpack. You looked like an idiot.
Well say something! The voice in your head commanded.
"Um...Uh this... isn't... my room?" You stammered.
Oh I'm so bad at this, I thought he would eat with the guys! You panicked.
"No, this isn't your room, and I think you know that. You're really bad at lying did you know that?" Sai said.
He began walking towards you; your hand slipped its self out of the backpack. Sai placed the food on the table and continued to walk towards you. Your back was now up against the wall along side the backpack. Sai leaned down and looked in the backpack. He stuck his hand in it and shuffled around until he found what he was looking for: a tiny bottle of pills.
"I'm guessing this is what you were looking for." He said kneeling down in front of you.
All you were able to do was nodded.
"So you remember what happened last night?" He asked.
"Partly, I thought it was a dream, I wasn't sure." You murmured.
"And you want another pill I suspect?" Sai asked in a bored tone, knowing the answer.
"No I'm fine." You laughed trying not to seem like you were about to pass out.
You began to stager upwards but Sai placed both hands on your shoulders and pulled your back down. He somehow got the majority of his body weight on you. Sai looked a little awkward, like a confused cat not sure on what it was about to do. He moved one of his hands to your face and pulled his face closer to yours.
"Sai you don't what to kiss me I'm sick." You mumbled trying to pull away.
"It's ok, I have medicine." Sai said.
Before you knew it Sai brushed his lips against yours. You were startled at first unable to think of what to do. You're mind was mush. Sai came back in with more force and placed his lips on yours again and kept them there. His eyes had closed, but yours were still open, wide, with fear. You began to relax and absentmindedly kissed back. Sai pulled away and looked at you for awhile. You were still in shock as Sai popped open the bottle and slipped a pill in to your mouth.
"So that's what a kiss is?" He asked aloud.
"I guess." You said after swallowing the pill.
"Come on," Sai said standing up.
"Huh?" You responded.
Sai took your hand and pulled you up. He quickly pulled you out of the room and towards your room.
"Sai-san have you seen Oh ____-chan there you are? Why is she with you Sai-san?" Sakura asked.
"She was wondering down the corridor. She seems dazed. I was taking her back to her room." Sai said emotionless.
"Oh well thanks." Sakura said taking your hand.
"Hn," Sai said walking back into his room and shutting the door.
"You ok _____-chan?" Sakura asked.
"Kinda," You responded.
"Well come on. There is some food in your room and Tsunade-sama wanted to check up on you again. When we went in your room and you weren't there we got worried. What were you doing over here anyways?" She asked.
"Uh, I woke up and just started to walk around, and then I ran into Sai-san. Then he told me that I needed to go back to my room." You lied.
"That's all huh?" Sakura said jokingly.
"Yeah," You said blushing.
When you got back into your room, Gaara and Tsunade were both waiting for you. For some reason you couldn't look at Gaara without feeling bad. Tsunade said that you still had a fever but would probably be better, maybe even good as new, by tomorrow. She thought it would be best for Gaara and Sakura to both leave the room so you could eat in peace and so they wouldn't catch what you had. You were relived when Gaara left but still felt bad in the pit of your stomach.
"I'd advice for you to finish your dinner and go back to sleep, hopefully the snow will let up." Tsunade smiled as she left the room.
You stared at your food then slowly ate it. It tasted bitter for all you could taste and managed to finish it without throwing up. You laid your head back on your pillow and almost fell asleep instantly, into another nightmare.
